  1. Here's more detail, and this pertains to Debris, Pattern Analyzer, Nien Nunb (T-70), among others... Rules reference page 18: "A ship receives one stress token while it executes a red maneuver or after it performs a red action. Additionally, a ship removes one stress token while it executes a blue maneuver." According to this page, you do not need to fully execute the maneuver to either gain stress on a red maneuver, or to shed stress on a blue.
  2. Hm. Seems we need an official ruling from somewhere as I think we just went in a circle. (this also applies to Vennie and Sabine as well)
  3. Sorry if I'm not following, but what would be considered "properties that distinguish it from the other dice in the pool"?
  4. Then what's your interpretation of this: "A die added in this way is treated as a normal die for all purposes and can be modified and canceled." What's the definition of a "normal die"?
  5. I don't think it has to be this complicated. CLT = add 1 eyeball RESULT (this is not a modification to an eyeball result, it is modification to the DICE) Padme = enemy modifies only 1 eyeball result, other results can still be modified (blank, hit, crit, evade) Effect: If you triggered CLT, and you are attacking, you then roll your attack dice. Then, you put a red die focus on the board, thus modifying your DICE. If you have reroll capabilities, you can reroll (but can only include 1 eyeball result), OR you only re-roll non-eyeballs and then modify one of them. OR you don't reroll and modify one of them. What are the gaps?
  6. No real need for Larma. I haven't found her useful yet.
  7. Try Chewie/Rey Gunner with A-Wings. Or throw a pod in there too.
  8. Most rules regarding tokens that limit the number of tokens the ability or game effect applies to, actually limit the number of tokens affected. When you do a blue maneuver, it says to remove "1" stress token and "1" strain token. The ability is written in a way to imply there is not a number limit to the number of stress he can remove, if his ability criteria are met. "After you gain a stress token, if there is an enemy ship in your [front arc] at range 0-1, you may remove that stress token." Each token is an individual stress token, which you are receiving at the same time. The rule applies to each token individually. If it were limited to 1, it would likely be written like this: After you gain stress, if there is an enemy ship in your [front arc] at range 0-1, you may remove 1 stress token.
  9. Nspace - yes, that is accurate. My bad. It is the same wording as Ric's ability. There is no qualifier. Just "the attacker rolls one additional attack die."
  10. If Ric goes faster and gets the extra die at range 1, you cannot use 7th fleet because you would then be rolling more than 4 dice. Your primary essentially turns into 3 dice due to the pilot ability. It's simple. It's printed on the card. 7th gives you that range 2 spike when Ric goes fast but doesn't get close enough for R1. You can CHOOSE not to take a range bonus and use 7th instead, but that's pretty silly. With CLT, you aren't ROLLING 5 dice, you're rolling 4 and adding a focus result, so it works. It's a limitation at the ROLLING stage of the attack. If you've activated 7th, and 5+ dice are leaving your hand, then you're not following the rules.
  11. Taking the initiative point into consideration, why not just use stress as the punishment?
  12. Basically, if Poe doesn't have R4, you're less inclined to use his abliity regularly. You end up saving it for a Black One turn instead of getting full efficiency for the whole match.
  13. Great! Now to practice...
  14. Here's what I've been playing around with. Fits my style and works quite well when focusing fire. I also find it interesting with each ship having the same point value, but L'ulo can also punch hard. With these lists, you really can't make any mistakes, because that can equal a melted ship in 1 turn. I like thinking in the Focus-boost/Focus-rotate mindset for most of the game. Focus on flying well and not on action strategy as much. Sometimes locking with L'ulo. Thoughts? Tweaks? 15. Poe needs R4 more than he needs AO, I think. And give him Black One, since that is essential to an Ace. If you don't want that, just go with Nien and see what points you have to play with. Nien would want Pattern Analyzer.
