Perhaps, but the existing players of the FFG game are already dwindling. It's dying. New players are needed for a more vigorous line to make something for the new company. Or they can squeak by with end of life support. If they want to make it their own, they need to get to it. It's what FFG did when they bought WFRP: drop a few new books for the old line then abandon it for their own take.

the fact that the books are not in stock and the idea the game may end soon is what dose the most harm to the line

a 2E with the fact they cant keep books in print will be the last nail who want to risk jumping into a game you cant get the books for

It is not possible by RAW. RAW does not allow multiples of the same attachment with the sole exception of additional weapon mounts.

also with Retrofitted Hangar its fine for the fighters but shuttles are to big for that if your GM lets the PCs lets you be docked outside that's up to them mine will not let us have any docking if we are doing any thing more then just sitting in space

I am puzzled by the inclusion of Ventress on a list of "likeable female heroes."  I know she got some redemption later on, but wasn't the majority of her screen time as a villain (and not a particularly sympathetic one)?

it may be as she had some depth as a character they used the word heroes? but I for one only know her as a villain in the same lines a Maul

I posted this in another thread but in case not everyone is following both -taken from a FB group and supposedly from someone at GAMA:

“This just in, Asmodee (FFG) roleplaying is NOT going away. It is transitioning to a new imprint called Edge Studios. And those older Star Wars books WILL be reprinted! Huzzah!“

if true still dose not mean we will see anything new just that we don't need to rush to buy books

The pollster doesn't choose - the company does, and they are a neutral source. The pollster doesn't ask you, they give you a card and you answer. They are have no horse in the race - movies want to know data, good or bad, so they use CinemaScore (and PostTrak). They are unbiased, neutral sources. CinemaScore has been around since 1978, and have largely perfected their methodology.

The 25 cities are diverse - that's the whole point. You get WAY more of a representation of people by directly polling the general movie-going audience at the theater itself, since the vast majority of people don't go on RT or Reddit to post about it, or leave a review.

But, seriously, why are you placing so much scrutiny on these, but you're perfectly fine with just spitting out the RT score with no further analysis?

well 25 cities are not diverse at all you ONLY get the view of people who live in cities and people in the city tend to be  different then the ones out side of the city just look at how they vote.

  6. we have 2 views on the Luke that are in many ways its like the number 9 on the ground. if you come from under it you say that its a 9 BUT if you come from above it then it looks like a 6. they are right from the point of the viewer and booth will see themselves as being right. that is what I meant with my post on politics it shows to me how you came upon the 9 (ie your frame of reference) I was wrong for being so blunt and not explain myself

My dude, you were decrying diversity in Star Wars in anothernot  thread, so stop with this.

no FORCED diversity I hate tokens and how "promoting diversity" seems to go hand and hand with piss poor writing

I don't care about what someone looks like I just want good storys and lore that is set to be followed

(down with recons and making things that completely destroy how the setting work "like hyper speed ramming" )

*Some fans I saw complain about it online, and maybe in real life, too.

You can't say 'half of the fans' unless you talked to like... millions of people.

He almost killed his dad, too, but then pushed himself away from the darkness - exactly as he did with Ben. Nothing about that is new. He was only willing to die AFTER almost killing his dad, then bringing himself back from the edge. You can't ignore details to support a point, especially when they are right there in your face.

wow you dismiss the 50% of the fans bit I am shocked its a LOT of the fans not everyone talks thou

    Outside these forms I never seen anyone defend last jedi other than media {who I think got payed}

I think the fact solo bombed hard shows that it upset many of the fans

as for your point lets ignore the fact he was in a fight at the time yet Ben was SLEEPING

do you defend every thing about last jedi? or just taking a dump on who Luke was?

That depends how far into the EU timeline you want to go. The Luke from Truce at Bakura and the Heir to Empire trilogy wasn't a superman. By Dark Empire, he's getting there (but that has a tendency to happen in comics), and the later Vong stuff has Jedi all over the place but generally over the top (all of them, not just Luke).

close to the end of EU stuff it was all over the top

So in the Republic or the Empire you could have a hospital for the cost of the building plus local taxes, a small administrative staff who would probably be Sentient doctors, most of the doctors, nurses and surgical specialists would be droids, the administrative staff would be droids, accounting droids, cleaning and maintenance would be droids. Other costs would be consumables (which would likely be manufactured by droids), EMT droids, and emergency vehicles.

but many don't like droids so I don't think it will be as droid heavy as you think nor are they cheep

also labor seems to be REAL cheep in the world going by EoE pay out prices

(and honestly, the Saber toss was one of the best moments of the movie, because it symbiosed three decades of hard work; wasted without a single line of dialogue. Beautiful.)

and to me it was the point I knew that RJ had no clue who Luke was and one of many parts of TLJ I strongly dislike (though now I try I cant think of ONE part of TLJ I even like a little bit)

I would disagree. He was no more the main villain than the Emperor was in the OT, a shadowy figure for the primary villain to report to. In terms of story, Vader and Ren were the primary villains.

Kylo was way to much of a joke to be a big bad. He is having fits and destroying parts of a ship for no reason. Then gets his *** handed to him in the 1st movie how can you fear him if he loses to someone with no training at all.
