  1. And my fear is that this enterprising spirit will be killed by Metawing.
  2. People don't know how to use it, though. It becomes a 'me want win quick' button to smash repeatedly.
  3. Only having 2 red dice is less important than staying alive to use them.

    Very true, it’s not.

This has been tried and it didn’t work, although Ben Lee got close in the top 8 at the System Open. He fortressed his quad phantoms for most of the game until he was forced to commit.

You don't get to decide if you go to final salvo, that takes two players and he's got a very good chance at half-pointing one of your ships before you half point a Han that regenerates.

That's cool. Relying on your opponent to make a mistake because the only chance you've got to win is that they make a mistake is a pretty great definition of loss of agency, though. Like: a textbook definition.

I can imagine this Han is pretty fun to play with. You're constantly getting to make decisions and are pretty consistently going to be rewarded for making them correctly.
  9. Yeah this doesn't look good. And so many Seismic charges... there's not that many rocks to blow up! I'd scrap it and start again.
  10. Step 1: don't 'have' a faction. Why lock yourself out from having as much as possible?

Pointing out logical fallacies and shameful whitewashing = bullying?

Going after Han is a massive trap. You pretty much CANT take him unless you get really really lucky and push a bad crit in. And while you try to focus on Han you’re taking fire from both his ships and bleed out twice as fast. You want to turn your back on LW/Outmaneuver/Procket Jake? Rather you than me!

If you help a small problem become a big problem you’re more likely to see that problem get fixed. I don’t share @Oldpara‘s frustration about no immediate fix. We have improved functionality over 1.0 but if the expectations are going to get bigger more rapidly than the infrastructure’s ability to solve them then we should have stuck with the old system. When stuff went bad in 1.0 we were stuck with it for months or even years. I’m prepared to wait a couple of months for the scheduled fix point. If we don’t develop that mindset as a community then we are only going to knee jerk more violently and more frequently than ever before.
