  1. 1) I'm using Big Sur 11.1 2) I had the "file is damaged" error with the old 1.7.1. build, but the 1.7 build and before work fine on this version of MacOS (11.1) I downloaded the new Mac build that you just posted and it's working great. Thank you for fixing it and for everything!!!
  2. I tried downloading a couple of times. I’ll try on my MacBook to see if it’s just the iMac. Thank you!
  3. Is anyone else getting a "file is damaged" error on MacOS? I can't seem to open 1.7.1.
  4. 2.0 is great! I got into the game at the outset of 2.0, so my 1.0 experience is limited to the 2-3 games my buddy who introduced me to the game played with me. 2.0 is fun because FFG —--> AMG can make tweaks to the points from season to season to keep it balanced and nothing feels broken. I’m really loving 2.0 and I hope you will enjoy it too.
  5. This is the correct game reason. Also, thematically, Anakin flies the Eta-2 both before and after turning to the dark side and becoming Darth Vader in Revenge of the Sith which is what I'd guess FFG is going for here.
  6. @dherve10’s numbers look correct from the 24 Nov points PDF
  7. Heroic scales on Agi. 1 point is correct for Poe
  8. I like this a lot. This seems like a case of do what the card says, don’t do what the card doesn’t say (did I say that right?)
  9. It's pretty clearly an app glitch. @Maui.makes a good point that the Pup doesn't have an initiative at setup, but it's intuitive that it has the initiative of its carrier ship (as it will gain upon emergency deployment). Is this true? I can't find in the tourney rules that you have to use the official app. Wouldn't you be able to build an app on paper using the PDF of the points list? Under this philosophy you also can't equip VTG on a ship with dorsal turret or ion cannon turret because the app won't currently allow you to do so. Admittedly, my tournament experience is only 2 events deep, so I'm legitimately asking.
  10. That's a good one. I'd say maybe? This all occurs in step 5 "Deal Damage": 5. Deal Damage: If the attack hits, the defender suffers damage for each uncanceled 󲁧 and 󲁨 result in the following order: a. The defender suffers 1 󲁧 damage for each uncanceled 󲁧 result. Then cancel all 󲁧 results. b. The defender suffers 1 󲁨 damage for each uncanceled 󲁨 result. Then cancel all 󲁨 results. If: A: Thread tracers fully resolves 1st, then Fifth Brother adds his crit, it'll deal one crit. B: If Fifth Brother resolves 1st then thread tracers will cancel his crit. I'd lean toward towards A. Not sure if it's applicable, but we may be able to take precedence from the Kanan ruling: Q: If a ship that is equipped with Kanan Jarrus [󲁒] uses Inertial Dampeners [Illicit] to perform a white stationary maneuver, in which order to Kanan's ability and the "gain 1 stress token" portion of Inertial Dampeners' ability occur? A: Both abilities have the same timing window: after the ship executes the maneuver. Thus, after the ship executes the white stationary maneuver, if the player chooses to spend one Force charge to activate Kanan, two abilities enter the ability queue: Inertial Dampeners' "gain 1 stress token" and Kanan Jarrus' "remove 1 stress token." The player who controls both effects determines the order they enter the queue, and then the abilities resolve in that order. If a player wants the ship to gain and then remove a stress token, Inertial Dampeners' ability should be placed into the queue before Kanan's ability.
  11. I’m a big Launch Bay fan. I like building my squad on the iPhone and the Launch Bay app is great. The collection manager is really good and you can skinny down the options to what you actually have. The app allows you to record wins/losses and has a built in points calculator. You can also export your list to text, XWS, TTS, or just print from the app. I’ve used YASB too and I like it, but if I’m primarily using my phone to manage my squads, I much prefer Launch Bay.
  12. I like the Ghost. It can hit pretty hard. I've built this and it melts ships while it's still on the table. (54) Wedge Antilles [T-65 X-wing] (0) Servomotor S-foils Points: 54 (41) Jan Ors [HWK-290 Light Freighter] (16) Moldy Crow Points: 57 (72) Hera Syndulla [VCX-100 Light Freighter] (1) "Zeb" Orrelios (9) Saw Gerrera (3) Shield Upgrade (3) Intimidation Points: 88 Total points: 199 Jan gets Hera an extra die and if you're shooting range 0-1 you're rolling 6 dice. Saw lets you turn your eyeballs to crits. The drawback is it's taking a beating while you're doing it. I also like this one: (72) Hera Syndulla [VCX-100 Light Freighter] (9) Saw Gerrera (12) Han Solo (3) Shield Upgrade (0) Ghost (5) Ion Cannon Turret Points: 101 (28) Captain Rex [TIE/ln Fighter] Points: 28 (32) AP-5 [Sheathipede-class Shuttle] (0) Phantom Points: 32 (32) Arvel Crynyd [RZ-1 A-wing] (3) Intimidation (1) Marksmanship Points: 36 Total points: 197
  13. It’s not just Hera. It won’t let you add VTG to anything that adds a turret. It will let you add it to something with a native turret like the Falcon. Sounds like a glitch that doesn’t recognize you’ve added a turret.

    BUXY

I like this list and have been making small tweaks here and there from everyone's suggestions. I'm in favor of the Dutch lock antics. I also had low returns from Heff and have switched out for K2. I hadn't considered this, but it's really good, especially if you keep a Ten with foils and any cannon. I had been running Ten with Autoblasters and my crappy dice rolls always have me in a position where I want to spend the lock on the initial attack. FCS fixes that. Here's a take I'm looking forward to trying out. BUXY (48) Ten Numb [A/SF-01 B-wing] (3) Autoblasters (2) Stabilized S-foils (2) Fire-Control System Points: 55 (55) Wedge Antilles [T-65 X-wing] (0) Servomotor S-foils Points: 55 (40) "Dutch" Vander [BTL-A4 Y-wing] (2) Dorsal Turret Points: 42 (46) K-2SO [UT-60D U-wing] (0) Pivot Wing Points: 46 Total points: 198 Is FCS worth downgrading from Ion Cannon Turret to Dorsal Turret on Dutch? I think it might be.
  15. I have had some good luck with this list: Warthog Squad (54) "Warthog" [Laat/i Gunship] (10) Plo Koon (4) Wolfpack (4) Cluster Missiles (1) Synchronized Console Points: 73 (44) Squad Seven Veteran [ARC-170 Starfighter] (3) R3 Astromech (1) Synchronized Console (1) Dedicated (13) Proton Torpedoes Points: 62 (26) Blue Squadron Protector [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (4) Cluster Missiles (1) Synchronized Console (1) Dedicated Points: 32 (26) Blue Squadron Protector [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (4) Cluster Missiles (1) Synchronized Console (1) Dedicated Points: 32 Total points: 199 It does add the LAAT/i, but the synergy is really good. Warthog helps with a couple of dice mods and the synchronized console allows for the passing off of the lock which helps everyone get their cluster missile shots off. That many bonus attacks could be helpful against the swarm.
  16. Add Hate on Kylo and take the 9 pt bid. Alternately, I do enjoy using instinctive aim and chucking a Plasma at someone which still leaves a 3 pt bid, but that may not be worth the squeeze.
  17. I think the “if able” clause would allow you to use option b and use the normal template. If it were option a, they could have left off the “if able” clause.
  18. Executing the selected maneuver is part of the SLAM action. Pg 19: Pilots can SLAM by activating their SubLight Acceleration Motors and careening through space at incredible speeds. A ship performs a 󲁊 action by performing the following steps: The player chooses a maneuver from the ship’s dial. The maneuver must match the speed of the maneuver that the ship executed this round. The ship executes the chosen maneuver. The ship gains one disarm token. @Maui. correctly quotes pg 20 - "A ship receives one stress token while it executes a red maneuver or after it performs a red action." Wouldn't that mean that you gain the stress token after (completely) performing the red action? In the case of SLAM, executing the chosen maneuver is part of the action (step 2), therefore you don't gain the stress token until after step 3 "The ship gains one disarm token.", once the action is complete (ref pg 20). This one seems clear that you can do it, but do you take 2x stress tokens? I think you might.
