But you know that they announced end of the game after stores preordered their last expansion but also before its street date? That's why lot of stores have a problem as they need to sell dead game. Jerk move.

You can't really blame ffg for wanting as much money they can get before they cancelled the game. It's just business as usual.

It reminds me of one of the many unused cards in the game...IMG_9575.JPG.fdfb79b8d03e93761051b9e3c20c355b.JPG

Instead of removing yellow dice, it removes covert operations boxes from their storehouses and they gain money for it without caring where the money comes from

    My body is ready!

(really wanting a Sanc/Dino/whatever - probably star alliance so I can have my Dino Knights in Star Trek deck)

We taking bets on what dark aember does?

Maybe lets you combine the two cards to make the giant dino thingy? Or maybe to unforge an opponent's key

    What about 'From the Ashes'?

I guess you can't get 4 value from Darksaber on Gideon since hes 14/18 tho.

I guess I should make him 15/20 or something huh.

now that I think of it, it seems too OP to make him 15/20

question though: where do you get the outline? I have so many ideas (separatist droids specifically) but don't know where to get the border

My pleasure. :P Still looking for playtesters! At the very least I'd be interested to hear some of your feedback or anyone else on this forum for that matter.

The mechanics are really cool and are fun (printed the cards out and played mando/child and had so much fun). Only issue I had is that Moff Gideon didn't have much synergy with the dark saber.

So as someone who swallowed the hook line and sinker when this game released and bought way more product than I ever should have. Then realized that I could not afford to keep buying as much product when the third wave hit so did back way off but still bought as much as I could.  Then saw how fast the rotation was going to make everything I had bought unusable I quit altogether.  Is there anything at all I can do with the cards and dice I have now or do I just suck it up and accept it as a lesson learned and money lost?

You can still play the game normally. I think the game is at its best in terms of fun because of all the fan-made formats like dice commandos 40-40-40

There was a lot of theory-crafting going on about a co-op game prior to the competitive LCG coming out. The biggest hurdle was defining the role of the players vs. the AI. The easiest way to do it would be to make the players light-side characters (Rebels, Republic, Jedi, etc.) conflicting with dark-side forces (Empire, Sith, etc.). However, there are a lot of SW fans (myself included) that want to play as our favorite dark-side characters. Assembling your friends to beat-down on a scrappy resistance force doesn't seem very "heroic", though.

If FFG can figure out a way to make it work, they would find a customer in me (even though they should have went this route in the first place!).

FFG could do a heroes version and if that goes well, a villain version could happen

  7. We all know how destiny has been cancelled and that everyone is feeling salty about it. I just want to explain why I loved this game so much, even if I'm only a casual player.

    1.The Youtube community

    Dicecommando, t3Gaming, the hyperloops, arrowbrookgaming.

these guys made the community look so fun and I think they are the ones who got me into this.

    2. The dice

big fan of them. Why I loved Dicemasters

    3. The gameplay

I know for a lot of people (even me sometimes) all we see is that there is no balance in the game but just making and playing with two BALANCED decks are so fun to play with casually. I love how instead of resolving damage right after activing a character you give the opponent time to react and do something about it. This was such an innovative idea for me.

    4. Star Wars

    self explanatory.

I've decided to step back from bashing ffg for the time I'm typing this and I hope you guys will also take the time to tell others why you played the game.

This game will always hold a special place in my heart since it got me into gaming. Now, I play a bunch of Keyforge, heroclix, transformers, x-wing, and age of rebellion thanks to destiny.

The solution is pretty simple, put it on KickStater. You know just how much to make and everyone is happy.

Maybe if they start doing KS with all their new stuff they won't get production shortages?

This would also be a great way for ffg to check how much support a game has.

I think the only problem with this is that ffg doesn't want to look unofficial and they're afraid that kickstart will make them look that way.

  9. With all this commotion with destiny being cancelled, i have a couple of questions.

    1. Will the two deckbuilding websites still be up and running for wild horizons?

    2. Do you guys think that the price will go up or down?

  10. I would appreciate this since I live in asia and there's no way I'll be able to go wherever it's gonna be held. If the issue on why ffg is dropping the game is because of money then they should sell some to get as much juice out of destiny as possible.
