  1. Nice. This looks pretty good! Blue Squadron (53) Obi-Wan Kenobi [Delta-7 Aethersprite] (8) Calibrated Laser Targeting Points: 61 (29) Blue Squadron Protector [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (5) Cluster Missiles (3) Dedicated Points: 37 (29) Blue Squadron Protector [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (5) Cluster Missiles (3) Dedicated Points: 37 (39) Jedi Knight [Delta-7 Aethersprite] (15) Delta-7B (9) Battle Meditation Points: 63 Total points: 198
  2. I think the only problem with cluster missiles is not having a good range three option. If you lock at range three, you may not have another chance to shoot if you don’t get a good shot in that turn. Those energy-shell charges are pretty devastating at range three...
  3. Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I think it’ll be hard to field more than 3 torrents and still have them be effective. The sync’d console is fun, but if you pass a lock to a gold squadron trooper only to have it drop before it fires, you’re dead in the water. I’m beginning to think battle meditation may be the way to go: General Kenobi (42) 104th Battalion Pilot [ARC-170 Starfighter] Points: 42 (29) Blue Squadron Protector [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (6) Concussion Missiles Points: 35 (53) Obi-Wan Kenobi [Delta-7 Aethersprite] (17) Delta-7B (4) R2 Astromech (13) Battle Meditation Points: 87 (29) Blue Squadron Protector [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (6) Concussion Missiles Points: 35 Total points: 199 I like the look of this list. Obi-Wan double coordinates the torrents with I-5 locks, resulting in two double-modded shots and two single-modded shots. The blue’s are less likely to get PS killed. Obi-Wan’s a good endgame piece. Thoughts?
  4. Hi all! I recently got two Guardians of the Republic expansion packs. I love the aethersprite, but have absolutely no idea what to do with the torrents. They’re crying for some sort of missile, but concussions just don’t seem to do the trick, and two dice otherwise is just... meh. They don’t have the action economy or support boasted by the empire and separatists. Here’s about the best that I’ve been able to come up with: (51) Plo Koon [Delta-7 Aethersprite] (13) Battle Meditation (8) Calibrated Laser Targeting Points: 72 (25) Gold Squadron Trooper [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (6) Concussion Missiles (2) Synchronized Console Points: 33 (25) Gold Squadron Trooper [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (6) Concussion Missiles Points: 31 (25) Gold Squadron Trooper [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (6) Concussion Missiles (2) Synchronized Console Points: 33 (25) Gold Squadron Trooper [V-19 Torrent Starfighter] (6) Concussion Missiles Points: 31 Total points: 200 The 4 gold’s roll up, each focusing. Plo Koon gives the two with synchronized console a lock. All can then use their concussion missiles for a decent string of attacks. I’m just not feeling it, though. There’s a lot that could go wrong here, and the torrents die quickly. The ARC just seems like a better option for a little more points. One more attack die, a rear arc, and more health. Has anybody had any success with the torrents?
  5. I’m not sure how I feel about the bomblet generators. They aren’t nearly as great as they were in 1st edition, and I think the consensus is that you’re better off with the guaranteed crit from a proton bomb. Seismics can be pretty dependable too.
  6. That’s some pretty great feedback. Thanks!! I guess I’ll keep using heroic.
  7. I agree! I guess my question is this: is there a better “filler” card? For example, crack shot seems a little more useful to me.
  8. Dang, I hadn’t thought of putting Black One on Ello, but that’s a fantastic idea! Double Tallon Roll shenanigans... 😈
  9. Before the Resistance Conversion kits came out, I was really excited try the new “Heroic” EPT. However, after playing a couple of games with it, I’m wondering if I should spend that point elsewhere. It just isn’t triggering. Statistically, there’s a 14% chance that you’ll end up using it if you’re rolling 2 green dice, and a 5% chance that it’ll trigger with 3. With red dice, it’s 6% with 2, and about 2% with 3. Those don’t seem great to me. Anyways, what has been your experience with heroic? In your opinion, is it worthwhile?
  10. I like the idea of having Han with Seasoned Navigator, but do you think that you’ll be able to clear the stress you get from using it? Thus far, I’m finding that it can be really hard to clear stress while flying the Resistance Falcon.
  11. I like the idea behind this! Here’s my two cents: I think Han needs Lando for some good action economy if AP-5 goes down. That, and I’d definitely replace Shield Upgrade on Wulff for Hull Upgrade. Maybe something like this? (92) Han Solo (5) Lando Calrissian (14) Bistan Points 111 (56) Wullffwarro (3) Hull Upgrade Points 59 (30) AP-5 Points 30 Total points: 200
  12. I agree. Vennie seems like a defensive beast, but I think throwing in a T-70 would help with offensive output. Here’s a list that I’ve been thinking of: (55) Nien Numb (1) Heroic (5) Pattern Analyzer (0) Integrated S-foils Points 61 (67) Vennie (10) Perceptive Copilot (3) Trajectory Simulator (5) Proton Bombs (3) Seismic Charges (14) Rey Points 102 (35) Tallissan Lintra (1) Heroic (1) Crack Shot Points 37 Total points: 200
  13. Hey folks! I’m excited to try out the Resistance Falcon, so I’ve been toying around with this list. I like the idea of having Rey on Han, and I think Ello and L’luo make decent teammates. I tried flying Pattern Analyzer Nien in place of Ello, but it cost me initiative, which is important in the initiative 5-heavy meta that we’re seeing. Does this seem halfway viable? I’d love some thoughts. Thanks! (76) Han Solo (14) Rey (1) Trick Shot (5) Rey's Millenium Falcon Points 96 (56) Ello Asty (1) Heroic (0) Integrated S-foils Points 57 (38) L'ulo L'ampar (1) Heroic Points 39 Total points: 192
