    Overlooked ships

    Double-bubble and a mini-swarm of droids is very potent especially with Grievous as a flanker. If only there was an Astromech slot to resolve the horrendous blue maneuvers...
  2. Thanks xwingMinty and Rokian. I didn’t fly this list during weekly x-wing night (tried a Wedge, Luke, Jake, Sabine list that was a lot of fun) but I’m still angling to try Luke soon. The lower initiative option is worth considering though, thanks.
  3. That looks very interesting but since you have Dutch handing out locks maybe Ten with Predator is a good option? He can dump stress more likely with the lock/ reroll and you even have room for FCS if you want.   4. That’s the crux of it. Luke is good but that point cost is just prohibitive. Thanks for the detailed thought process too. I think I will try to keep the U- wing, but without the point-sink of Luke I can upgrade Heff to Magva. I do like the Wedge option but he doesn’t quite fit with the U so Jake it is. Thanks!

  7. I’ve been looking for a Rebel list after the most recent points change and wanted to stay hyperspace-legal. Han is still a beast and I’ve been looking for an excuse to get a U-wing. I think I’ll try this one tomorrow but would be interested in feedback on Luke Gunner in this list: Luke Gunner? (82) Han Solo [Modified YT-1300 Light Freighter] (26) Luke Skywalker (2) Lando Calrissian (4) Trick Shot Points: 114 (36) Jake Farrell [RZ-1 A-wing] (1) Crack Shot Points: 37 (45) Heff Tobber [UT-60D U-wing] (3) Intimidation Points: 48 Total points: 199 The idea is Heff blocks and can get additional actions if he succeeds. Jake runs around being Jake, and Han can use the magic reroll to get the most from Lando crew. Luke provides a force as well, but helps deal with any aces like those pesky Jedi. Any thoughts?
  8. I’m not sure about R2-D2 on Corran, I know it works with the pilot ability but in my limited experience with E-wings the maneuverability is key.   9. This could work for rebels. A lot of health and tractor to reduce evasion. Feel free to add more items or upgrade to talented bombers if you don’t need the bid.   10. It’s unusual but how about a B wing? Ten Numb would work well with AP-5 for repositioning and the stress-as-focus mechanic he has. Throw Composure on for additional focus tokens if you misjudge a roll. Plus they are quite tanky for the cost.
  11. I have not had a chance to play this in person but it’s done very well in Fly Casual. Adding Jyn and Juke gives a lot of flexibility. I don’t have an attack shuttle so Sabine is out for now, and the A-wing options were okay (Jake for example added another way to get a free focus, but the limited range was more of a hindrance than expected).   13. Maybe I’m misunderstanding but I don’t see where you get stress for failing an action? Only once you perform a red action. If you cannot complete a boost or barrel roll you cannot perform the action, so no stress. I’ll take this over to the rules sub forum
  14. Good point on the second list, the turret is a lot less useful without Veteran Turret Gunner. I’ll play around and see what I can add based on the ships I have. Thanks!
  15. Can you share where they say that? As far as I can see you cannot barrel roll or boost if you would overlap an obstacle, so would not actually perform that action. As for the list it does look fun and that’s a lot of health for your opponent to chew through. I might suggest switching the B-wings to Marksmanship and Shield Upgrade since you do get bullseye a lot and shield gives you an extra crit protection. The Ys get dorsal turrets and VTG for additional damage.
