  1. Since you invited me over here, I'll share some of my thoughts: Super Kylo is basically a decked out AS Guri but in the wrong faction to make it work. Other than Tavson, FO doesn't have a heavy hitter that is hard enough to kill. And Tavson isn't even great for the role, because if you loose kylo, you just loose the game. For this reason, the people who were playing Kylo/Tav last year actually ended up preferring sense on Kylo instead, because like Guri, Kylo is vulnerable to an enemy list with multiple I-6s. Scum has access to Dengar and Fenn, who are able to hold their own and not evaporate when shot at like Vonreg or an SF. They can more effectively trade with enemy arc-dodgers for a good endgame condition, while SNR Kylo's friends are not. Not only that, but SNR is a huge win-more card. You wreak lol initiative ships even harder, but still loose to aces. This is actually why I created that Instinctive Optics Torp strategy. It was great at catching the I-6s available in the store champs hyperspace season, which helped my win all my Boba/Fenn matches, which would normally be a very hard matchup for Kylo+Friends. For these reasons, I prefer a better anti-ace strategy, instead of focusing on dunking on those generics. That said, if you do want to run SNR Kylo, go for it! It's definitely fun for the Kylo player. My personal recommendation is to just use 3 Cadets. They're super efficient and are surprisingly sturdy, which is exactly what you need with your super ace. You can totally upgrade one to Rivas or Scorch but remember that if you are taking SNR Kylo the deep bid is already necessary. Happy Kylo Flying! - Taco
  2. Everyone knows dank tank is the most serious competitive event ever, and it's extended. /s Serious: Many of the events running now aren't even hyperspace or extended. I've seen a ton of alternate formats (Jank Tank, Top Gun, Skirmish etc.) Of course people are playing extended tournaments too, we haven't had any IRL ones yet to scratch that itch. There are also many players who prefer hyperspace as their competitive format. The point is that people are playing a huge variety of formats, and it would be ridiculous to call a format "dead" or declare one the most popular.
  3. It's probably written this way for non-1v1 epic purposes

It autowins against sinker swarm and has a great matchup against the vultures. It also is very good at bullying aces. Try it out and you won't regret it.
  5. I've only have one game with these brobots in my entire X-Wing career, but they are hilarious and sneaky good. They are very strong jousters. You can throw two bombs pretty easily in the same round, and sit on them (ablative also stops rock damage btw.) They shoot heavily modified shots w/ fearless and multiple calculates, and tractor low-initiative ships on rocks if they miss the first shot. After this joust they can sloop/k-turn and still get an action. A fun move to pull against slower ships is to sloop right behind them and launch a bomb in front of them the next turn. All these compounding control options are very hard to deal with, and the aggressor is a great chassis as well. 7. He literally is genius that works with mines. I like VTG with Proxy Mines and Seismics on him. I have been playing with Traj. Sim and Rose Tico, but the Sim isn't super great on him. Might try Paige Tico instead. How would you build him and his wingmates? He will get a re-roll or two if he has bullseye arc. These passive mods allow him to use his action to reposition, or take red maneuvers without hesitation. The K-Wing build is fairly straightforward, barrage rockets to the front, proton bombs out the back, and turret to the sides. Sabine can be a flanker and use Cassian to help spot bombing runs. Debris gambit is fun because you can use her ability to roll, then link to a white evade, move and then take a focus. What do you guys think? TL;DR: Corran Horn might be viable with some support to help him reposition and line up his bullseye arc.
