Far Harbor...getting Started question

[Far Harbor...getting Started question]

Hey, all.

Tried Far Harbor last night (solo).

When it says "Add (star)"....what do they mean? It's not listed as a quest action in the manual...do I just put a star anywhere on the board?

Hi!  Yes, I looked for one in the 'ruins' encounter deck, but could not find anything to do with a prototype. 
Anyone else have any ideas? All are welcome!

Wondering: This quest for the BoS says I had to go to the Robco factory and encounter there until found a prototype...
What?
Do I just go there, and do the next encounter & Succeed?
Help?
