  2. This is awesome, I absolutely love Tableau. My investigators hate when I go into tableau, it's like a rabbit hole for me. Then they just get a million reports of their performance haha.
  3. I'm a new player, this will be my first new release I have been around for. In fact, the announcement of the SSD is the reason I bought into the game in the first place. It's my first ever more traditional style game I've played since like monopoly with my family as a child, and I love it. I know all of you are calloused to this, and others, like me, like to complain. But frankly, this is a bit shocking to me. This is a company that's been in business for nearly 25 years, been making miniature games since at least 2004 (if I can trust Wikipedia), and they can't get a release like this even close to right? I know it's a super ambitious project, and I am thankful that the cost of preordering this thing was in no way a setback for me. But you mean to tell me that when they announced it last August they couldn't foresee whatever issue they are having with this thing? I believe I read that an uncirculated pamphlet said originally Q4FY18, then they widely said Q1FY19, then Q2, now Q3, a year after the announcement. When they moved it from Q1 (which is only just coming to an end this week) to Q2, what did they not take into consideration that's delaying it an entire additional quarter? I don't run a game publishing company, I am speaking out of pure ignorance, but this just doesn't seem remotely acceptable.
  4. I am new to the game, only bought the core in August or September, so haven't been around during a release yet. How long after a preview article do the expansions typically ship?
  5. Retweet. My rolls are odd-defyingly awful. Each one.
  6. Do you have pictures of painted ties?
  7. I really like the idea of the infantry transport keyword you're talking about. This would be really cool. I hear what everyone is saying, we may not get one or if we do, it won't be OT stuff. I also see the point of balance and usefulness of new squads. But as @Muelmuel suggested above there could be new mechanics not explored yet that I am sure the developers could implement in a balanced way. They seem to have done a great job so far.
  8. Well at your leisure, of course, if you decide to. Maybe imgur or something. I'd love to see them, and I am sure I am not the only one who'd enjoy them.
  9. Do you have pictures of your fleet? I was thinking about getting some 1/7000 ships from Mel, and attempting, for the first time, to paint.
  10. Low I'm certain, but I'm newer to the game, still kind of on a high with it from regionals and it was fun to me to think about.
  11. Hey everyone, I know this is really indicative of me having my head in the clouds as half of you think the game will lose official support, and all of us agree the releases/news has been lacking. BUT I thought it would be fun to think about what squads could come in the Squadrons 3 packs? For Imperials I am thinking definitely the TIE Striker and the TIE/rb ("Brute" from Solo). If we had to stick to canon stuff I don't know what else, maybe the Sith Infiltrator. Anyway, what would you like to see? Rebels, imperials, canon or legends, generic or unique squadrons for a new hypothetical pack.
  12. Still newer to the game, been playing with a squadronless Imperial 6 ship revolving around a Kuat, wanted to try something different. Can I get some constructive criticism on this list please? Imperial MSU (384/400) ===================== Arquitens-class Light Cruiser (54 + 38) + Admiral Screed (26) + Captain Brunson (5) + Turbolaser Reroute Circuits (7) Gladiator I-class Star Destroyer (56 + 19) + Ordnance Experts (4) + Assault Proton Torpedoes (5) + Demolisher (10) Gladiator I-class Star Destroyer (56 + 9) + Ordnance Experts (4) + Assault Proton Torpedoes (5) Raider I-class Corvette (44 + 7) + Ordnance Experts (4) + Flechette Torpedoes (3) Raider I-class Corvette (44 + 7) + Ordnance Experts (4) + Flechette Torpedoes (3) Gozanti-class Cruisers (23 + 2) + Comms Net (2) Gozanti-class Cruisers (23 + 2) + Comms Net (2) Advanced Gunnery Hyperspace assault Dangerous Territory
  13. In a game where you can play empire vs empire, and rebels vs rebels, I do not understand why we are worried about the thematics of a Republic faction which were "good guys" in the movies having triangular shaped ships fighting against the Empire faction ("bad guys") who also have triangular shaped ships. I played a mirror match essentially, all the ships, commander and almost the exact upgrades at regionals. It wasn't thematic to have two Mottis or two Demolishers, but it didn't take away from the game experience at all. If you want to be true to a theme, then when you organize your play with your local group, don't play Republic vs Empire, or do. But using something as subjective as this as a main argument against new factions seems shortsighted and a bit selfish.
