I did kind of work on some character sheet templates for Foundry VTT using the Simple World Building system and Simple World Building Plus module. I'm not a good web developer, so I don't know how to set all that stuff up real well.

I'm hoping to cook up an Android one-sheet adventure when I have time, too.

I am quite interested in SotB, but while I own Genesys and RoT, I never played either because frankly, I have no time to create adventures or campaigns. Between two toddlers, a demanding job and extensive business travels, I rely on the work of others when I GM.
I understand the concept of Genesys, being a toolkit for creative GMs, and I love the narrative dice system (GMed Warhammer and Star Wars), however is FFG encouraging creative GMs to publish their adventures? Is there some kind of license they could do so on drivethru rpg etc? I only found one adventure for Genesys.
For RoT, one could take many of the D&D5e module and easily run that, but with SotB, what setting is close enough that one could take that as adventure? (And please don’t say Shadowrun, the whole magic and other races isn’t in SotB).
I’d love to buy into it, and run it, but I am just overwhelmed by the need to “create”

Several months ago, an app known as Crewzr popped up in New Angeles. While ignored by law enforcement as yet another random addition to the countless hook-up apps popular in the city, Crewzr has more in common with rideshares. However, instead of matching hovercar drivers with riders, Crewzr matches skilled professionals across multiple disciplines for dangerous, often clandestine jobs that pay well, and at least on the surface, benefit the common people of New Angeles, rather than the corporations. It has also been observed to match independent clones and bioroids with humans who are at least ambivalent regarding their rights, rather than actively hostile. It is unknown who created or maintains the app, but the service and the professionals it matches are highly regarded.

LuaLaTeX is indeed the intent. That’s how I typeset my documents.
To change the font, you need to check out the fontspec package. That’s what is used to add fonts to a LaTeX document.
The .sty files are easily modified. Here’s a primer on writing your own, and some supplementary reading.

I use LaTeX. And add to that my Genesys package you have the beginnings of a character sheet!

WotC's Galactic Campaign Guide has some pretty decent charts for several alien species, such as Bothans, Duros, Twi'leks, Zabraks, Mon Cal, and Wookiees.

I don’t expect my players to actually know how to use a sword or a missile launcher for their character to be able to use them. I also don’t expect them to know exactly what to say in a social encounter, because a lot of the time it’s fun to play characters that are not actually you.
But if a character comes up with a cool idea in combat I’ll throw them a boost, then if another character actually has a neat idea on how to approach a conversation in a social encounter I’ll do the same.
So for me all I hope for is that the players will get a little inventive, then perhaps add embellishments after the dice are rolled, to me that there is where the cool story stuff comes out.

Write an email to the company owning the IP, and ask about their policies. Usually they give you quite a clear answers. I have done it few times. Different companies have different policies. Some allow you to publish free products freely, as long as you acknowledge the IP owners. Some don't allow you publish anything. Some allow you to even publish and sell. But in my experience, best way to find out is to ask from IP owners. 

Valve could send you a cease and desist any time they wanted, and you would generally need to comply with that (unless you feel like seeking genuine legal advice and seeing what your options are).
But generally speaking that's very unlikely to happen, especially if you make it clear that your setting is a fan work and isn't claiming any rights to the intellectual property you're referencing. As long as you don't try to make it out like you have any ownership or right to the Half Life IP, you're probably going to be fine. It can't hurt to throw in some sort of statement to that effect in your release somewhere, but honestly I'm not even confident that makes a difference. This is what I put in my Dark Heresy setting book.
 

That's great to hear! I'll include requirements in my next commit. I finally have a good chunk of time to work on this, so I'm hoping to knock out the setting portion today.

after installing tkinter and imagetk from deb-packages, it works out-of-the-box with python3 on linux-mint-19 !!!

you should include a "requirements.txt" file in the github repos so all requirements can be installed beforehand, and a venv can be created for distribution

One question. Will this be windows only application?
