    Mission Debriefing vs. Ginkapo
So after a low score affair against B2W, @Ginkapo was my next opponent. Ya, the Gink that is one of the best Players from the Land of the Queen, recent #1 of nationals after Swiss, with a 5 activation Raddus Bomber fleet. I slowly begin to realize 4 Activations and a overloaded Vic might be a terrible idea.
I, as the crazy person to bid a full 10 points in EU, chose first and his Precision Strike. With my 5 Bombers (technically 6 but I forgot one Tie B), and both of my combat ship being brawlers, I figured that could work.
    Deployment

With my forgotten Tie B, we both had euqal deployments. I decided to slow roll and then jump into the fray after I saw his drop. He bailed Turn 3, good choice. We both played as the smirky tactians that we are, and both moved forward. I liked Warlords position, seemed like he could have a chance to flank his main force.
    Start of Turn 2

More slow rolling. His AF advanced into my fray. Great, no escape from Bail. I activated Demo, potshot with 2 reds at long range, moved forward to just have front arc. Seems like a visit from Vader seems eminent. His last activation was the CR90, sending in a Y-Wing and Ion shots, leaving my demo with no Front shields in close range to Bail's AF. Oh boy...
    Start of Turn 3

Admonition dropped in from Hyperspace, double arcing the Vic, and both sidearcs in close to my combat ships. Alert all stations! The AF went, and between the Bombers and her shots, she left Demo with one Hull, sitting there like a Germany - Brasil in 2014, 11' (ready to score). Unlike Brasil, I seemed to face a worse fate than a 7-1. I activated Doomedmolisher, side arc into Admo's front. 4 Blanks. I tried to ram his GR next to the AF, but failed to do so. Front arc into Bright Hope, 2 ACCs, Hit/Crit Blank. Rerolls are good in this game I heard. Well Demo dead, and his Admo possible oneshoting my Vic. To my suprise, he activated the trailing GR next. I had to go all in. Warlord send 4 Bombers into Admo, stripping it of 2 shields in the front, the rest was redirected. Then:

Note, that was without rerolls, or H9 Warlord BS. 9 Damage reduced to 7 left her on one Hull. Engage ramming speed, Jerry!
With his greatest thread gone, I gained some breathing room. But Warlord was still in a bad spot. My Gozers danced around the flag ship, and his ships closed in. I could kill Jan with combined flak and Zertik, and I could tie some of his Y-Wings.
    Start of T4

BH was reduced to 1 HP, so I figured time for some farming. Warlord sent 4 Bombers and Dengar into the the fron of BH, netting me tokens and a tokenless GR (2x Crew Panic), but killing her was hard as I needed hit crits, and I figured farming 15 points per hit is more preferable than killing her.  His squads were mostly engaged or Bombers, so no real issus. Warlord landed on the asteroid field. Comm's Noise. OUCH!
Gink gave me a CF, then Precision Striked me to speed 0. Warlord hat 6 Hull and 2 shields, double arced by the AF. Only upside was, I had a nav token. The AF activated, Charm'ed Warlord (CF, Nav) but his dice were cold. Only 2 damage between both shots, but he got another token.
    Start of T5

General Draven got Post-Rouge One depression and parked in fron of Warlord. I took the offer. With a Squadron token, Jerry send one bomber into the read of BH. Blank. F*ck.. Thankfully, just in range of Bomber Command. After an inspiring speech about Lord Vader and his "movitation techniques", the pilot managed to send in another pair of ordonance, rerolling into a hit. (Rerolls op confirmed). The front shot of Warlord killed Draven's GR, but just enough damage was rolled so I couldn't flip another damage card. Well, won't complain. Jerry tokiodrifted on the station, and repaired the Comm's Noise. With his main forces out of reach, (Gallant Haven and Jamming Field is a ***** to chew through!), I killed one YT and 2 Wangs, losing Zertik and a TieB in return.
    Start of T6

I snacked two more Ywings, and engaged his remaining Squadrons. My BCC, due to my idiocracy (or the hot weather?) got rammed to death after providing him another token, and the game was over.
    7-4 (107 MoV to me) 304 (6 Tokens)  vs 197 (4 tokens).
Great game Gink. Warlord oneshooting Admo was BS, and without it, this would have been a strong victory to you. I felt that you outpositioned me.
I scored another low victory, enough to keep me away from @Tokra .
Let's see if I can score a Flechette Torpedo score in game 3.

It was definitely a great and fun game! I made a mistake with the placement of the CR90 and @RealVeers made the best of it. After that he successfully dogded my fleet and waited till he could place the next shot at the end of the game. I could not get into range so that I was not able to do really much. Maybe I should have been more aggressive but I would have to run directly into the front of Demo, Vic and 6 Bombers. Looked not like a good plan...
Thanks to RealVeers who played a great game!

thanks @RealVeers for this write-up. The positioning from CR90 was a clearly a mistake even if
was not really nice from the dice gods 😁 Summing up to 7 or 8 damage (I do not remember anymore..), that these dices do not believe in statistics.
I am still wondering if a direct attack would have been better or would have resulted in just a bigger loss. Plus that the early death of CR90 enabled you to move away so that I could not catch up anymore. Anyways, it shows the value of deployment...

    Report vs Beginner2Winner

    Deployment
I had deployment advantage 8 v 5 deployents which I used to delay Demolisher and Warlord until I knew where his ships where. I had 2 options, trying to capture the Conga line, or trying to catch the CR90. Didn't like my chances on the first, so I chose the latter.

    End of Round 1
Note this was before Nav. Hazards movement.
Both Warlord and Demo were moved into range. I made sure the BCC Gozanti was in range to allow the TIE Bombers to use its reroll. Italy Debris field moved to obstruct the VSD shot, which was just in Range. I activated Warlord first with a Squad+Token, sending all 5 Bombers into the CR90s side. 5 Attacks (3 blanks into Hit/crits) meant the CR was limping on 1 Hull. The long range shot of Warlord showed 2 crits, CR90 down. I decided I wouldn't be able to get anymore though, and disengaged.
    End of Round 2

    End of Round 3

Nothing of important happened Round 3 and 4. I got on token from the MC80 overlapping an asteroid, and the MC30 fired the only rebellion salvo on an Imperial Ship, discarding my Evade and dealing 1 damage.
    End of Round 4

I got an opportunity to get the Bright Hope transport in front of the MC80. It had no scatter due to bomber attacks from last round, and all 5 Bombers where in Warlord Range. I needed 3 damage (1 Rear shield and 2 hull), which I barely made with my last bomber attack. Everything else moved out of engagement, and the Bombers survived the flak of the MC80. Nothing of note happened in Round 6.
Pretty tough game for Beginner, I feel that with a better deployment of the H1 he would have caused a lot more havoc and casulties in my rows. But I respect his decision to not engage frontally, 5 Tie Bs with BCC and a ExRack Warlord Activation can end one of his Mon Cala ships.
Looking forward to play the next german in my pod, which should be @Darth Veggie 🙂

GG to B2W, it was a great game and your list gave me lots of headache. I got lucky in the 2nd round, destroying his CR90 with my combined Bombers and Warlord shot, and could dodge his long range artillery for most of the game. T5 I had a opportunity to snipe his Bright Hope. Great tactical game, and we could both use the obstacles to our advantage to create a living battlefield.
I'll write an in-depth-report tomorrow after work, with some pictures.

a big sorry for being late but I hope that there is a chance for a last minute participation!! I had somehow July, 1st as deadline in mind and now I am too late. Just a second ago, I have submitted my list (hopefully correct) and I am crossing fingers that you are in a forgiving mood and that I still can be on board.
I would be more than thankful and can promise that I might not be the greatest challenge to play against but that I always try that both players have fun...

    Yes.
The only restriction to the “Raddus Bomb” as it was originally coined, was that you must have a non-flotilla ship somewhere on the table from the start to keep from losing the game immediately.

thanks for the write-up @Dr alex, it was an awesome game! I've learned about Jamming Barrier, the power of Devastator and the power of a 2-ship-list 😂 I was really surprised how deadly this list is and I need to think about the right strategy to handel ISD-2. Thinking of the game, maybe I was to carefull with Admo, trying to arc-dodge. I had some success in doing that but to the price of doing not that much damage by myself. Admo had no double-arcs during the whole game and only half of the shots were in black range. As in the end, I needed just one more damage, a more aggressive approach might have been the better way...
And I need to think more carefully about slicing. I have never ever expected to see Pursuant blocking the MC75 🤣 This came as a completely surprise!
Thanks to Alex for this great game, it was really fun! Also for me the tournament is now over, which is sad as I had that much fun and great opponents!

While I assume that I will not make it to WC2019, I can hope for 2020 🤣 In the meantime, I can get in some games so I hope that there will be still some people around to play against! If I understood correctly, then my last game of the Autumn tourney counts? If so, then I have my first 3 points 🙂
I will be away for the next couple of days but will look for games from next week onwards. If anyone has interest in a game, I am also happy to schedule something in advance.

Dr Alex v @Beginner2Winner is over.
b2w had the bid and went first picking my jamming barrier as he hadn’t played it before.
I put the barrier about 1 third of the table from his edge in front of my fleet, he had deployed admiral and jaina’s light to flank on his right into my devestator, bright hope and the armoured cruiser in the middle opposite me and quantum storm with slicers flanking on his left.
I used Pryce for turn 2, which was probably a turn early. We approached each other but Jan was able to keep his MC75 and bright hope just behind the barrier so my Pryce turn didn’t do much.
Turn 3 Jan sliced pursuant to a nav, which turned out to be really critical. I then used that nav to race pursuant to just over speed 1 from my side of the barrier blocking the MC75 from flying past devastator.
Jan then learnt why intel officers aren’t great against a Tagge Devestator as I used his intel officer to shed a defence token and start powering up devestator. I also used a contain against 1 blue hit, just in case. devestator and some bombers stripped the front shield from the MC75.
the MC75 failed to hit pursuant through its front arc through a combination of the barrier, two accuracies and Brunson. It then shot Devestator powering it up a bit more. Then rammed Pursuant poking it’s nose through the barrier, but not the side arc’s LOS dot.
Admo flew around the back of devestator and quantum storm sliced devestator to a nav.
turn 4 and the MC75 opens fires from it’s side into Pursuant. The LoS however passes through the jamming barrier which combined with some dreadful dice means pursuant loses one shield on it’s side. The MC75 then rolls a perfect 12 from its front with CF and ER on 4 blue and 4 black. No accs however mean brace, redirect  and Brunson keeps pursuant alive on 2 hull. 1 hull after th MC75 rams. Pursuant then gets the rhymer ball to do more damage to the front of the MC75 and then shoots it itself. Finally it tries to dash past but can’t make it and rams itself to death, leaving the MC75 in the front arc of a powered up devestator on 4 hull. Admo comes in a shoots Devestator not achieving much then devestator blows the MC75 out of the water and strips admo of what is left of it’s shields and most of its defence tokens. Then rams bright hope who in turn has to ram devestator in a slow motion recreation of the end of Rogue One. The bombers strip the rest of the defence tokens from admo leaving it on 3 Health.
turn 5 and Tagge brings back my brace, which is crucial in not dying. Admo is just out of black range by the smallest of margins (the plastic is in black) admo has a conc fire dial so can’t easily escape but has a quick shot and then runs as far as it can staying in the side arc of devestator behind the barrier. Devestator then opens up on bright hope through the barrier. A 12 dice front arc goes to 6 blue which despite leading shots the whole lot doesn’t get a single acc so bright hope scatters. Jaina’s light which has snuck in the rear arc loses its shields and its antisquad dice from a crit. Bright hope then dies through ramming. Jaina’s light shoots then rams devestator to avoid flying into the middle of the rhymer ball. The bombers then fail to kill it leaving it on one health.  Quantum storm slices devestator to a repair.
Turn 6 and jaina’s light opens fire on the shieldless rear of  Devestator then rams it bringing it to 2 health and killing itself. Devestator repairs one hull and moves a shield to it’s side, it shoots admo bringing it down to one health and then has to fly into an asteroid to avoid being in black range of admo. The asteroid doesn’t inflict anything important and leaves devestator on 2 hull with 1 shield on front and 1 shield on the right. Admo shoots it’s side getting two hits which brace to 1 and takes down the shield protecting that arc. The rear then rolls a crit which makes my heart stop beating while I reveal it, it is not a structural damage so devestator survives on 1 health. Admo flies off and shara kills a TIE advanced.
in the end I win, 253-100 MoV 153 so 8-3.
    dead on my side:
    pursuant
    2 TIE advanced
    dead for beginner2winner:
    MC75
    Bright hope
    Jaina’s light
    Tycho
in the end Jan sliced me to victory as that nav on pursuant let me block the MC75 in devestator’s front arc. It was an awesome game which ended with both of us being one hull point from being ranked, Tagge saved my backside completely (take that Tagge doubters) and the jamming barrier worked for both of us completely changing the flow of the game at different times.
That’s my tournament done. Thanks to my opponents for putting up with having to split games over multiple nights due to an angry girlfriend and newborn baby. I’m not doing the World Cup because I just can’t dedicate the time this year which is rubbish, someone else needs to run complete jank for me. I still have my tripledictors list if anyone wants it?.
    thanks for organising @CaribbeanNinja

This was a really great game! The first approach was determined from the respect from the deadliness of the respective fleets. I wanted to avoid being in close range of the Kuat ISD as well as the side arcs of Demo. PodRacer feared Admo in combination with HIE from the MC75. While I was able to dodge his close range while putting out full admo-power in his ISD and Demo, I was not able to do the final kill. And after the joust, I was not able to catch him due to his great use of Ozzel and the disadvantage of being 2nd player. So I destroyed the Gozantis instead and rescued the VIP.

Great learning to see how fast the ET-Glads are… I was surprised to see Insidious ramming Jainas Light that quick…

PodRacer was a fantastic opponent and it was a very fun game!

I have made a log-file and will send a link to it later on.

Pod vs B2W has (finally) finished after a six hour game.
7-4 in B2Ws favour 100-25.  We played his capture the Vip.
This game was essentially a single pass joust, B2W killed my 2 gozantis and captured the Vip, I (over)killed Bright Hope.
B2W deserves maximum respect for playing through my outrageously slow connectivity issues, Infact it took us four hours to complete the first two turns, without any engagement.
We re commenced today and thankfully my connection was abit better, But after the Pew pew had stopped, My Isd and demolisher where Crippled by ruthless dodonna apt strikes and forced to disengage from the melee without causing B2W much inconvenience other than staying alive.
I was able to manouvre my scarred ships away using P1 advantage, but never really threatened B2W outside of Insidious contesting the Vip token with a quick rush towards jainas light, forcing a couple of hull damage with rams.
B2W was a great opponent and deserved his win, and I wish him all the best in his quest to qualify for the world cup.  A competition I will likely miss this year unless I manage to take a miracle bounty once my ISP is dealt with.. =(

Thanks Ninja for Hosting... I guess my Quest to win a game will rollover into the next tournament!!
