I think that a second edition for IA is good for the game as a whole.
starting with skirmish mode, I would agree that it need to be re balanced. maybe using a regular group of storm troopers as a baseline unit, and balance the other units around it. That my thoughts. It may help a lot of units from the first few waves.
for campaign mode I think some heros can be fixed and that they could reverse the imperials and Rebels. By this I mean something like inferno squad. Let the imperials be the "heros". And let them spy or sabotage rebel operations or something else.
well that's my thoughts for a hypothetical imperial assault second edition.
Sry if others mentioned similar points.

I'm sorry for asking if there's already an answer out there that I didn't find.
The text for the ability reads: During setup you may choose any number of death trooper deployment card as one open group
So I would want to ask if I choose use elite death troopers in that open group since it didn't specify. Another question its that do all of my DTs in that group get a power token through commence landing if I places one on it.

it wouldn't make sense for thrawn's "long laid Plans " ability cuz there is only four types of power tokens. So what happens after round 4 if those token must differ from others. I think it would be more likely to go without different tokens. That just my thoughts.
