Blademaster72 reacted to theBitterFig in "Holo"... what does "your" mean?
I'm in the camp that Holo can move a lock an enemy has on him, but can't move a lock he has on an enemy.  Nothing new to add, just that I find these arguments more convincing.

The diversity of options within Hyperspace is staggering. I don't think my “List of Lists to Test” has ever been longer than this since 2.0 released. I have never been less sure about which lists are actually good, fine, or bad. Looking forward to playing Hyperspace for many years to come. I hope its here to stay and remains this well curated. Maybe one day it can be used as the worlds format to.

At least Rex get something more out of it.  If he hits with it, he still can use his ability to flip a damage card.

    Hi!
I have some doubts with this archetype, specially regarding the jamming beam...

    TIE/ph Phantom: Sigma Squadron Ace (48 + 7)
        + Juke (7)
    TIE/ph Phantom: Sigma Squadron Ace (48 + 7)
        + Juke (7)
    TIE/D Defender: Rexler Brath (81 + 7)
        + Juke (7)
        + Jamming Beam (0)

Is it useful? I'm not sure why should a defender use that beam instead a standard attack.
    Has anyone try it?

It actually says “objects.” Objects are defined in the RR, and do in fact include ships.

It's like the old 4BZ, but a lot more nimble, with all the extra firing arc tricks.  Looks fun.

Doesn't seem too bad.  Personally, I don't think Backdraft really needs the Special Forces Gunner.  I'd save those 10 points, upgrade one Epsilon to Rivas, and get Fanatical on Quickdraw and Backdraft.
But that's mostly just preferences, rather than a firm believe it'd be "better."

IG88D is 3pts after points adjustment, I think 2 calculate is good enough considering you save 5 pts.

Blademaster72 reacted to Cuz05 in Aggressive Ryad
I think all 3 pilots may receive a little downward adjustment, then you may be onto something.
Personally, Ryad is a little awkward as the main piece in a list, she's quite easy for an ace to dodge. Having the Ion is nice to pin things down, but overall, the damage race will be hard to win with this squads output.
Elusive and SD seems unnecessary, a single intermittent reroll and a one (maybe 2) time 3rd dice is not gonna add a lot to their survivability. Ryad is a hard target, so focus fire hits the predictable Aggressors instead and melts them fast whatever you do. Then they simply box Ryad and aim for half points before time.
I'd go for Adv Sensors on Ryad, (girl be craazy with it), then probably Outmanoeuvre to make up for the lost mods when you use it. Brockets on the Aggro, to up their output.
Really though, I'd be more liking a 4th ship, or 2 bigger hitters, but with Ryad being so pricey, it's a very awkward squad to build.
But anyway, with those 3 pilots.... I have this.
    (32) Onyx Squadron Scout [TIE/ag Aggressor] (7) Barrage Rockets (4) Ion Cannon Turret (6) Veteran Turret Gunner. Points: 49
    (32) Onyx Squadron Scout [TIE/ag Aggressor] (7) Barrage Rockets (4) Ion Cannon Turret (6) Veteran Turret Gunner. Points: 49
    (84) Countess Ryad [TIE/D Defender] (10) Advanced Sensors (6) Outmaneuver. Points: 100
    Total points: 198
The only reason for I3, as far as I see it, is to avoid being Init killed by all the other I3s about and getting the drop on I2s. A talent isn't gonna add much and only increases the overhead. 2pt for that seems decent but it's incredibly match up dependent.
Otherwise I'd probably go for the I2s and HLC on Ryad. It's honestly 4pt that isnt doing a lot and even a bigger bid for Ryad would be useful there. But again, it all depends on match up, so there's no right answer.
Love Ryad and the Aggressor myself, but they're hard ships to build for and use well. Best of luck

How??? T70 has no system slot. Vader moves first then reposition at start of combat or poe moves first and Vader has easier time ark dodging him.

@Tharcas it's still great on low initiative ships, not all aces Vader is unique he gets lock at start of combat then he can spend force to do more actions. I'm excited to lock then barrel roll out of ark.

With passive sensors on Vader you need no bid, he locks at start of combat have full knowledge of board can then spend force to focus and barrel roll out of ark.
