  1. New blog post and some pictures of the Rebel veterans I painted a little while ago for Star Wars Legion: https://www.stormofsteelwargaming.com/2020/05/rebel-veterans-and-support-laser-cannon.html
  2. Cheers buddy. I can't remember exactly what colours I used, but I think I started with dark sand by Vallejo, added some shade with army painter's dark tone wash. I then worked up the highlights with yellowish browns all from Vallejo by dry brushing the fur. I'm sorry that's not a great explanation, but I improvised as I went along so I wasnt taking note of what i was doing!
  3. Cheers buddy! Yeah, I always had a soft spot for the Taun-tauns as well. I'm not sure how they'd fit on the Death Star...
  4. Cheers Buddy! I'm glad you liked them, I was quite pleased with them myself!
  5. My latest blog post is all about my new Taun-Tauns! These are lovely models and were great fun to paint, please check out the post here: https://www.stormofsteelwargaming.com/2019/10/luke-warm.html
  6. I experimented with a new way of doing AARs, this first one is for Star Wars Legion and you can check it out here: https://youtu.be/Rw9PJAKdiWc
  7. Cheers buddy! Yeah, I like the figure, it's a really nice sculpt. I hope they produce the other bounty hunters as well!
  8. Thanks, the rim has a slight chip in the paint, which I didn't notice until I'd taken the photos and the grass is the same length as the other flock on my board so they fit in together. But cheers though!

    Bossk

I recently completed the Bossk operative and there's a few more pics on my blog (including a comparison with the Shapeways Bossk). Check them out here: https://www.stormofsteelwargaming.com/2019/08/we-dont-need-that-scum.html
  10. I completed the X-34 Speeder recently and here are some more pictures on my blog: https://www.stormofsteelwargaming.com/2019/07/rebel-technical.html
  11. I haven't seen them in real life, but they look just like bits of detail for a game board. Therefore to me, it's terrain and scenery. Whether it's useful or not as cover isn't the point, it's aesthetically pleasing.
  12. Just because it's not intended to be used as terrain, doesn't mean it can't be used as terrain. That's what I'd be using it for.
  13. We were talking about the smaller scatter terrain on the picture, if you read the thread.
