  1. Welcome back, and to reiterate what I have said before, I love your generator as do my players. They assumed it was an official FFG release. ?
  2. Have you checked to make sure the User Data option was marked in your sources?
  3. I think, when it comes to a character generator, there are three paths that I see they could take. First, if licensing allows it, they could just follow the D&D Beyond model. Release either a stand alone, or online based interface and then sell DLs for specific content. Perhaps even work out some sort of subscription service if possible. Second, release a barebones, character generator structure, preferably Oggdude's, which would be no more useful than the downloadable character sheets they currently offer, at least to those who don't have the books themselves. The third, do nothing. Sadly, I tend to think, they are leaning towards option 3. At the very least, I hope they will someday begin releasing PDFs, though I won't hold my breath.
  4. If those are the actual terms, then I see no reason they couldn't release a version of this specific generator since it contains no rules of any type. Obviously there is more to the license than just that, or something like this would be possible under the same "loophole" that allows them to release a dice roller as well as pdf versions the character sheets.
  5. If so, then a character creator that contains no proprietary information on how to actually make a character or play the game, is useless without the books. "Woo-hoo! I can make a random character, maybe, kinda, sorta, I think?" ?
  6. If they are prohibited from selling digital content, then how was the Star Wars Dice Roller released?
  7. Loving the generator, though I came across this error when I tried to add a Universal specialization to a character, specifically the Force Sensitive Emergent, and Force Sensitive Exile.
  8. This generator is fantastic. Does anyone know if there was any built in code that we can enter in the description sections of the xml files to represent dice or symbol images? When entering new talents, I'd love to be able to put in a setback die symbol, for example, instead of using text.
