So I'll be more specific since my meaning was admittedly vague. What I am expressing now is my opinion and not verifyed fact so take it as that. My comment referred to my belief that the decision making process on what changes will be given to play testers was not made by the developers alone but influenced by a small number of people that the game designers had personal contact with and listened too. I come to this belief based on a few interactions with play testers, by the behavior of some people on this forum, by the way in which game designers chose to communicate and/or leak information to the actual community and by the actual changes. I am not saying that the fact that the designers (maybe) did this is necessarily bad, especially if they are not as familiar with the game than some members of the community, I am saying ... this (except): except I do not belief that this is a large group of people as I am NOT referring to the play testers. They "only" test what is given to them and give back feedback which is often mostly ignored as I understand it. Is it rude to say that I belief that the result of the work of these "influencers" (for a lack of a better term) is mostly unsatisfactory and they therefore should not do it anymore? I guess you should ask your boss what she/he thinks. I doubt (hope not) that there is any money involved anyway, so these influencers would just loose some of their ... pride maybe, don't know what exactly they would loose? I have no issue with play testers. As I understand it their interactions with FFG can be aggravating to them and most of them have little impact on what changes are actually tested by them.

Actually I think the text in the article is wrong here, I would argue that any non-unique squad activated by the Bee also gets the reroll vs ships as they get Swarm from being activated by it.

Obi Wan doesnt say "instead of resolving that token's effect", but I implicitely read it like that as it was a rather big mantra that a def token does not produce two different effects (so far). Are we certain Obi Wan doesnt "just" give every ship a free EST?

On this forum it seems this way. Its always the same few people doing it though. I hope you also have other people in your real world to talk to that are passionate about Armada despite its flaws and design problems. So, is that something to be proud about or just public information you wanted to exchange with us and your fellow forum trolls. If I read between the lines here correctly, it seemed this forum culture actually caused another innocent soul to go insane. I assume he was innocent at some point, I believe in the good in people. Wow, first time I saw that. Someone is on a roll it seems. The issue with the Onager - or more precisely Ignition attacks - was discussed already prior to its release. Back then I was of the opinion that the ship is unnecessarily bad for fleet variability and too strong against small and slow ships. I feel actually validitated in this opinion based on my own experiences at least. In my area people tried to deal with it using MC30s and, while they were succesfull at not dying, they could also not kill the Onager because Speed 3 means it can just fly away. Also, beware the specter of the pass token mechanic for it will change the game beyond what you currently know. Will it be good change? I doubt it but we will see - people I have a high opinion of say it will be good. Monthly forum post - check.
