  1. I'm so excited - I don't even play rebels and I'll be picking up these units just to paint! My initial thoughts can be found here! Star Wars Legion Jyn Erso and Rebel Pathfinders Revealed!
  2. I'm with @MasterShake2, I love my Battle Foam pack. Check out my impressions over at On the Table Gaming.
  3. On the Table News: On the Table's look at the Imperial Scout Trooper is up: On The Table: Imperial Scout Troopers We're just starting up as a channel and are looking to make more Star Wars Legion videos, so any requests for things you would like to see wor feedback that you have will be taken to heart. Scout Trooper Help? After messing around with Scout Troopers for a little bit, I've really come to appreciate their low-profile and two black dice for offense. However, I can sometimes struggle with the Sonic Charges. It almost feels like I have to take at least 2 sonic charge saboteurs to fully maximize that ability, like a full squad and a detonator strike team. What are people doing/planning to do with them?
  4. How would you determine which left over cards will be in effect then?
  5. Missed this one, but you are on my radar now and I’ll make the next Legion tournament!
  6. I’m excited to see how future pilots impact the T-47. They have left plenty of design room open on it.
  7. @Caimheul1313 how did this turn out for you? Any pics or suggestions? I’m considering doing the same. now that some time has passed, has anyone come across any other storage solutions? i have a battefoam case, but the slots in the generic tray for cards don’t fit mine when they are sleeved. Hoping to replace that layer with another trooper layer and find another way to store my cards.
  8. Can’t seem to find it, I’m assuming it’s not posted yet?
  9. Just got 2nd place in a tournament today with a double AT-ST list, with each AT-ST running mortar and concussion grenade launcher. I like the unit because with 11 hp each it is difficult for the enemy to remove from the table. You can suppress enemy squads early in the game as well as towards the late game if you find enemy forces on the opposite side of the table. What I like the most about it is that it is very easy to get 2 activations tokens placed on the AT-ST with Imperial Discipline (***), Assault (***), Push (**), and Evasive Maneuvers (**). That leaves either only troopers or troopers and veers in my token pool. Ideally, Veers is putting aim tokens on the AT-ST, but if I know that next turn I will not be moving my AT-ST, I can risk putting a pip card with 2 unit activations down and throw Veers in the pool and just have my walker take an aim action. They are very helpful for hunting high priority targets, other armor, and squishy commanders but typically the enemy reacts strongly to them by either trying to focus fire or ignore. In case of the latter, I can play more aggressively with them or play more defensively with my troopers depending on the terrain.
  10. Suppress Them! 795/800 Darth Vader [200] Force Reflexes [15] Saber Throw [10] Stormtroopers [44] DLT-19 Stormtrooper [24] Stormtrooper [11] Stormtroopers [44] DLT-19 Stormtrooper [24] Stormtroopers [44] DLT-19 Stormtrooper [24] Snowtroopers [48] Flametrooper [20] Snowtrooper [12] Snowtroopers [48] Flametrooper [20] Snowtrooper [12] E-Web Heavy Blaster Team [55] Barrage Generator [10] E-Web Heavy Blaster Team [55] Barrage Generator [10] E-Web Heavy Blaster Team [55] Barrage Generator [10] Commands: Standing Orders Master of Evil Assault New Ways to Motivate Them Push Ambush Implacable While they aren't out yet, throwing some E-webs in the list might work against a list like the one quoted above. A slow plodding list, but one that has some defensive potential and can still pack a punch in the late game via flamethrowers, the E-webs not losing efficiency by taking wounds like a trooper unit would, and Vader, who I feel does much better in late game scenarios when units are wounded and closer. Initially, I thought that this list might benefit more from the aim tokens of Veers, but the extra suppression from Master of Evil and the potential with the snowtroopers via New Ways to motivate them (getting an extra free action) was too good to pass up.
  11. Post a list and explain why you think it would counter the list above it well. I’ll start us off: General Veers [80] Esteemed Leader [5] Stormtroopers [44] DLT-19 Stormtrooper [24] Stormtrooper [11] Stormtroopers [44] DLT-19 Stormtrooper [24] Snowtroopers [48] Flametrooper [20] Snowtrooper [12] Stormtroopers [44] Grappling Hooks [3] AT-ST [195] AT-ST Mortar Launcher [10] DW-3 Concussion Grenade Launcher [15] AT-ST [195] AT-ST Mortar Launcher [10] DW-3 Concussion Grenade Launcher [15] Commands: Push Ambush Standing Orders Assault Maximum Firepower Evasive Maneuvers Imperial Discipline
  12. Is there any information on where one can acquire additional official Star Wars Legion bases? While there are many beautiful 3rd party options in a clear or acrylic, I'd like to have a set of the same style and cut as the official bases that came with the models.
  13. That is correct, vehicles cannot perform standby actions.
  14. I figured. Does only being able to give one speeder bike a token with battle meditation bother you at all? I only have one bike squad, but I could see how if I was running them as a pair there might be a situation when I would want to give both bikes an order, and mediation only works on one unit.
