Liked seeing Kylo Holo Tavson there for obvious reasons...but who the **** counts Tavson as an ace?

Like, a small base with 3/2/2/2 would be pretty interesting, and would certainly be quite different from the existing ones. Clone Zs seem bigger than later ones, and representing that in the attack dice would be spicy.
Prequel faction tech is thematically represented as not quite as good as OT era stuff. Case in point, Jedi Interceptors don't hit hard unless they line the target up very specifically or give it a heavier model, which reduces its weaving agility capabilities despite the very small frame. The N-1 is very fast and can consistently dodge, but it pales in comparison to the same trick from the Empire's experimental TIE/D Defender. General Grievous' incredible hotrod is by OT faction stuff...quite outdated.
Since Republic likes to go more Proto-Empire for non-Clones but Proto-Rebels for Clones, I'm assuming they'll give the Clone Z-95 the exact statline of the other ones (since the Z-95 was outdated by the time of the Galactic Civil War and the statline seems very typical for a Prequel Era ship) but give it a ship ability that will increase effectiveness through Rebel-style work together abilities. Maybe...
Coordinated Attacks: While you perform a primary weapon attack, if the defender is in the bullseye of another friendly Z-95, you may roll 1 additional attack die.

From the preview though they did a great job of making the delta and eta feel different so I'm optimistic about the v wing.
The fact that it is a 2 attack 3 agility ship does a lot to differentiate it from the Naboo, Torrent, and Z-95. Old Obi-Wan's ability helps clone pilots out a lot, especially in durability, and that 3rd modded agility is so much better than just 2 modded agility. Granted, the V-Wing doesn't link out from green tokens, and that's inconvenient, but Shaak Ti lets you bank a green token for next turn, rather handy for the V-Wing in particular, especially if it wants to flex that boost that the Torrent and Z don't have. Let's not also forget that Aayla Secura pilot's support ability is purely passive and favors higher agility friends. You see far more Serissu with M3-A's than you do with Z-95's, no?

We're still looking for article errors, right? The Obi-Wan player apparently doesn't know how to perform talon rolls/cheats but moved ahead to the Extreme Maneuvering boost so the droid player will never notice.

Look at that, not only not flush, but shifted somewheres between the mid-roll and the roll forward.

If you could, it wouldn't be that much more effective than Supernatural by itself, especially if you used both the same turn to force starve for that turn. Supernat Kylo can already knife fight, but his real strength lies in speeding through different options.

So if they aren't blind, they'll deploy the garrison?

RAW the 6 dice cap only applies to the attack or defense roll (page 5 if you want to double check me). SUNNY WINS!!!
DICE MODIFICATION Players can modify dice by spending various tokens and by resolving abilities. Dice can be modified in the following ways: • Add: To add a die result, place an unused die displaying the result next to the rolled dice. A die added in this way is treated as a normal die for all purposes and can be modified and canceled. • Change: To change a die result, rotate the die so that its faceup side displays the new result. • Reroll: To reroll a die result, pick up the die and roll it again. • Spend: To spend a result, remove the die from the dice pool. (pg.9)
No U. Sunny loses.

I agree with @ClassicalMoser wholeheartedly, but a game of X-Wing typically pans out to only a minute or two absolute maximum in-flight. Too fast paced for ship general reshielding!

I did a rebel list back in the day with 2 fully modded I6 Y wing Torps and Airen made it possible. But even then and with a Hull Upgrade,he burned down real fast. The goal was to set up an endgame with Wedge and at least one of the Y Wings. Went 4-0 at a kit tournament with it in Wave 1 and didn't fly it again.
I'd imagine that the meta is both mobile and tanky enough to disregard it

If new Obi is over 50 then I don't think he would see much if any play in the current meta
I'd play new Obi if he's 55. Soontir, but repositioning is different, force is even easier to have (instead of bullseye, it's always on), LAAT rerolls, purple maneuvers, astromech slot, other Republic support stuff, etc. The only downside from going from Soonts to Obi is the initiative drop.
I suppose there's also the bit about needing bullseye to get your 3 dice, but whatevs. 7th fleet is in faction if you find yourself having trouble landing that or if you're moving first.

Imagine trying to use R2's movie trick designed into the card only to let someone convince you that remotes aren't devices. RIP.

Everything you need to know about FFG's costing model, as evidenced by the Nantex:

Extreme Kylo would be stressed and would have spent a force to pretty do Daredevil if using the Afterburners ability on the Silencer. Which is fine by me, Focus then hard 1 boost could be great.
Other than Jedi, Kylo is the only other pilot that can use this card? All the other pilots are Large based ships.
I’m not counting Luke as it’s situational when it can be used.
Kylo with Afterburners would be diminishing returns, but that's out of the question since he doesn't have the mod slot.

You can bank away from the action, and if its safe, you DD inward, not safe, you are already heading in the right direction. Also makes blocking soontir 10x harder. No longer have to 2 sharp in order to get a shot. Can go straight, bank etc.
Ships like Kylo extreme maneuvers are gonna be insane. His time on target is gonna be sky high.
You cant run from kylo. He will find you! 😂
Kylo Ren (76)
Adv. Proton Torpedoes (5)
Proton Rockets (6)
Total: 87I mean, kylo with extreme and a couple 5 dice attacks? Scariest ship in game maybe? 87pts + EM cost
Very scary, but dependent on I6 meta share. Instinctive Optics Torps run you at 94, and you are slightly less scary to I5 and below, but that snipe is terrifying to I6.

I was initially disgusted, but now I remember that Targeting Computer can give him his offensive rerolls.
-Edit- Nevermind, Daredevil turns your white into a red. So I'm still disgusted. Daredevil Vonreg is a nice equivalent though, unless you prefer Outmaneuver to make those shots count.

Also Aayla is a better support ship than Yoda. Fite Mii.

4 minutes ago, Silver_leader said:Soooo..... you can equip this force talent, but use it only with foils closed ? I am correct ?
And it is NOT written that this talent is light side or dark side. I think that Kylo will have some anger to choose between Extreme Maneuvers and Hate
I HOPE that with a pratically supernatural ability stapled on the ship, it will be priced accordingly. Yes, a good proton torpedo followed by all blanks will get rid of this ship. But I hope for a balanced points.
I'd prefer the Maneuvers. Hate is cool for maximizing DPS against I6 or I5's moving after you, but when moving last with Kylo, Hate isn't particularly useful unless you get too aggressive with him. Extreme Maneuvers seem to increase both time on target and arc-dodging capacities. Granted, not on the same level as Supernatural Reflexes, but certainly for a fraction of the cost. If it's only 3 pt, I'll easily take it over Hate. Heck, unless I'm running Instinctive Aim for Torpedoes, I'd try to squeeze it in for a basic Kylo as opposed to the 3 pt I'd save from running stock.
