  1. Dude I love that you did a white duros! I was thinking about doing a white/grey one. Looks sweet
  2. This is a cool scheme, but I kinda already have a dark blue Squad. You should definitely post some pics when you are done though would love to see them Really good idea. Was there a particular website you got this image from?
  3. Had my first 800 point match yesterday and decided to speed paint Luke. Picked his ROTJ outfit because it was super quick to paint. Not super stoked at how it turned out but certainly passable on the tabletop. I might try and pick up another model and do a proper paint up at some point down the track.
  4. That sounds pretty cool! Looking forward to seeing them ?
  5. Hey all, I'm having difficulty coming up with a scheme for my last squad of Rebel Troopers. Originally I was going to go with an echo base/Snow theme however after seeing the latest expansions I kinda wanna hold off on that style of scheme just in case they do release a squad of Echo Base troopers. So far I've got a Scariff theme squad and one squad using Sorastro's forest theme & some fleeties. Would love to hear some suggestions on what to do with my last squad as I'm out of ideas. Cheers!
  6. Latest Update. Making progress.
  7. Thanks mate, appreciate it! On a completely unrelated note, looking forward to the White Lion video :D
  8. Hey all, I've been slowly working on my Rebel army since launch and I feel like I've got enough to start sharing my progress. I've not really gone for an overarching theme for the entire army, but instead tried to have one theme per squad of troops/AT-RT's. First up is a Scarif themed Squad/AT-RT: Got the idea for these guys from @fade_74's thread and then tried to do my own interpretation of it. Next up is a forest themed squad and AT - RT based on @Sorastro's guide (it's worth noting that both walkers are based on his method as well) That's it so far. I will work on some snow themed troops/AT-ST over the next week once I decide on the colors and then finish up with my T- 47 and Luke Skywalker.
  9. Thought I'd share my scarif themed stuff. I used your color scheme as a launching point and then kinda did my own thing with it.
  10. I ended up stripping my Luke Skywalker model using Dettol with no issues. Can't speak to matte varnish/'ardcoat but i did use Vallejo's Matt varnish to fill in some gaps (Sorastro's method) and it stripped that with no problems.
  11. I've used Dettol to strip some of my Imperial Assault models before. Does anyone know if the same will work for Legion models? I've heard they aren't made from the same type of plastic or something.
  12. I can't even begin to describe how much I love this. Donald duck Storm troopers... Amazing
  13. Awesome scheme. I've been looking for a decent guide for desert rebels. The link in your imgur album seems to be broken. Any chance you can post it here?
