  1. Focus on objectives that help you. Let him sit behind cover as Boba runs away with a crate round 2
  2. Try this: Snows (795/800) Empire General Veers (80) - Improvised Orders (10) = 90 total points Snowtroopers (48) - Fragmentation Grenades (5) - Flametrooper (20) - Imperial Officer (20) = 93 total points Snowtroopers (48) - Fragmentation Grenades (5) - Flametrooper (20) - Snowtrooper (12) = 85 total points Stormtroopers (44) - DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24) - FX-9 Medical Droid (19) = 87 total points Stormtroopers (44) - DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24) = 68 total points Stormtroopers (44) - DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24) = 68 total points Stormtroopers (44) - DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24) = 68 total points Scout Troopers Strike Team (16) - DLT-19x Sniper (28) = 44 total points Scout Troopers Strike Team (16) - DLT-19x Sniper (28) = 44 total points Boba Fett (140) - Hunter (6) - Recon Intel (2) = 148 total points Commands: Whipcord Launcher, Maximum Firepower, ZX Flame Projector, Push, Coordinated Fire, Z-6 Jetpack Rocket, Standing Orders Two snows help limit focus fire death, but you’ll want to keep them behind line of sight blocking as long as possible. Terrain might also be an issue for your games? Use Boba to mess with objective grabbing or a last/first finisher on Han. If you can, focus fire with your snipes and DLTs to either panic units or force then into single actions. Z-6 squads and other rebel units hate only single actions. You can also mess with upgrades to your flavor. I also realize I included an officer that you might not have… just put another snow trooper in and add esteemed leader for veers.
  3. Reeikan? Deck officer? As an Imperial only player I’ll be honest, I’m sold. I can’t help it. I’m with @TauntaunScout. FFG take all my money. It’s yours.
  4. Destruction of the Elomin Task Force. Empire get Thrawn, Chimaera, and 3 sentry ships (3-4 raiders, arqs, glads? Since they were probably carrack cruisers or strike cruisers) plus a handful of Ties. Rebels get 4 assault frigates and a bunch of X-wings but must deploy in the cloud V formation and cannot break off. Just have to find some way to simulate the Marg Sabl maneuver…
  5. You’re only mistake was not springing for the third… love me an alternate scheme jungle sniper team…
  6. Seems a little harsh but maybe no ISDs at all for vets? At least not in the beginning? Give those newbies a chance to get some success before throwing a speed 3 ISD II at them?
  7. Love this. I personally wouldn’t mind if normal fleet building were limited by this mechanic. I might even encourage the vets that they can only bring 1 ace. Everything else has to be generic. I don’t know if that would lead into other issues though?
  8. Finally got around to taking a couple photos of my and @Sword named Folly's Desert Table (or whatever). Table was set up for a game, but we forgot to take pictures during it. So we may have just added back some of the killed units.... Just in case you were wondering why positioning may look funny... Full gallery here: https://imgur.com/a/pMMNPhS
  9. Apparently Kylo was out of command range… or the first order needed some faster picket ships… or a better plot line…
  10. Fighter packs for each faction are a must. A next cheap option is an MC30 and Pelta for the rebels (If you like squads) and then maybe a gladiator and raider/arquitens for the Empire. Cheap purchases (relatively) and provide two ships to each faction to diversify. You are going to eventually need to buy a large ship each side though. Few Imperials fly without a star destroyer…
  11. This is exactly correct. As an imperial player that z6 squad has to die to the leader before they stop being a threat. Throw your z6 behind heavy cover and watch as they stick around with decent threat longer than your opponent wants.
  12. Right back at ya. That game was fantastic and fun! Just proof that even at the highest levels of tournament play you can still just enjoy playing a game. That was my first ever tournament and what a crew to experience it with. Shout out to @BrobaFett for pushing me out of my dining room table. Haven’t looked back. Now if I could only find a way to get more games on the table… I would also echo shouts to @Captain Weather and @Irokenics for your amazing videos. Seriously tons of fun to watch and I always learn something useful.
