    My son and I made a board for playing X-wing (or Legion in the case of this photo) when we are camping.  We have big rubber bands on the player sides that hold it down to the table below it and we tuck our squad cards under it to hold them down

    I plan to release version 1.0 in the end of this month. Main new features are ready, I plan to spend a week or two for bugfixing now.
    What's new:
    * New cards: Discord Missiles (Buzz Droid Swarm), Cluster Mines, Ion Bombs.
    * New "Space station" room instead of "Just table in space" (with Easter Egg - who will find it?).
    * Tallon Rolls allows to select final position.
    * If you try to skip attack, but there are targets available - you will see dialog window to confirm this.
    * Gas Clouds 4-6.
    * Faster (and more advanced) AI planning.
    * A lot of new skins.
    * When you copy a ship, unique cards are not copied, if limit is exceeded.
    * Large ship setup rule.
    * Dials are visible in squad builder.
    * All ships have correct dial tooltip during battle.
    * Wrong final position of ships due to low framerate is fixed.
    * Extra option: Show Maneuver Prediction
    * Fixes for FE images of cards.
    Meanwhile, you can try current state of dev-build of 1.0 if you can build game from sources or are supporting me on Patreon:

    A few times. At Yavin you can see it at the edge of the screen on the ground and it flys by a few times during the space battle. You can also see Chopper at Yavin and hear the Alliance Command call for General Syndulla in the background.

    Nope, they debuted in Rebels.
    You might be thinking of the much larger Kom'rk/Gauntlet class transports that do show up in both Clone Wars and Rebels. They're the ones that land with the wings rotated up.

    We're yet to get those in X-Wing, but unfortunately they occupy that weird space between being too big for a large base and too small for a huge that probably means they won't make it over.

    When my local store received their Store Champs kit (slated for the second weekend of April, looking increasingly unlikely to run), the documents within specified that a Store Championship uses the Advanced Structure, not the basic. That means for a 24 man event, you'd get 4 round Swiss, Top 8 cut.

    Microhangars and Gear Boxes for new ships (Vonreg's Tie & Fireball) from Wave 6 are up on my Google Drive:

    I haven't tested the boxes.  So I'm hoping the ships will fit perfectly with a little wiggle room.  Also, I increased the size of the Gear Box to +1 ship token in case FFG releases future card packs.
    Enjoy!

    @Cgriffith okay that would be frustrating I would say check see if there is alternative store/club near you.  If not take a break.
    Once store championships end people will gravitate back to extended for worlds practice.
    Theres nothing wrong with taking a break one of my biggest mistakes in 1.0 was not sitting out "Nymgar" it was miserable.
    In a way hyperspace is replacing the 1.0 arms race where it seemed like every wave countered an archetype from the previous wave and buffed another.  I like this better as 1.0 made too many ships obsolete while hyperspace just puts them on the shelf for a bit.

    Maybe this has already been answered, but I am scratching my head a little over the second part of R1-J5's ability about repairing a damage card again.
    Does this mean, I repair a ship crit normally with an action, then if I flip that card face up again for the explosion with wings ability, I can repair it immediately with a R1-J5 charge instead of spending a action?
    Or, I repair the crit (turn it face down) then spend a charge to remove the damage card from the ship?

    If you spend the charge for Bucket's ability after you repair the ship card through it's normal action/effect or some other method, you completely remove that damage card after turning it face-down.

    What I think it means is that after you repair a crit (flip it) you can repair the card as a non-crit (discard it) by expending a charge

    It means you can remove it entirely. Which is what repairing a face down card does. It's an amazing ability especially on a ship which will frequently be able to guarantee having a face up card to trigger it.

    I just finished assembling my Wave 5 boxes. HOLY MYNOCK! Them Nantex Microhangars are TINY! You can actually fit a Nantex ship between the BTL-B's engines with room to spare inside a BTL-B Microhangar.
    I'm actually tempted to make a Microhangar box that'd fit 2x Nantex ships. It'll make it harder misplacing said box and losing it.

    I had intended to post on the day of, but as of a week ago, X-Wing 2.0 is one year old.  There's a lot to celebrate:
    A refreshing new look and feel for a game that all of us on the forums love in one way or another, whether it's rules lawyering, theorycrafting, arguing about canon, or generally celebrating a game that we have invested some time, money, and often heart into. The introduction of a wealth of new and exciting content for Prequel-era fans, but also for many of the old stalwarts who've been there since the beginning. An increased release rate for waves - As of last Friday, as well, Wave V of 2.0 was available in most places in North America. A healthier competitive scene than the game has had in a very long time A significant reduction in Combowinging, Metawinging, and generally NPE, overall Card packs! Revitalizing Epic play, and separating Huge ships from the format so that there's more diversity in list-building Fewer erratas - and no complete card rewrites that are jokingly called "erratas". We've also had some downs - The initial backlash (and continued echoes) about the poor quality of the official app, the Wave IV release fiasco, and the limited amount of new content for the old factions are the ones that come to mind - but overall, X-Wing 2.0 is a game that I love even more than X-Wing 1.0, and I wanted to toast its health and continued popularity.  Anyone else want to raise a glass of blue milk?
