  4. Did the CIS use astromech capable fighters that we're aware of? I know it is possible (barring a Republic bogart of the capability somehow) but I don't recall the CIS actually doing so.
  5. So a charge limited Targeting Sync that requires the carrier to hit the intended target for there to be a benefit for the squad and paints a massive bullseye on the Thread Tracer carrier. While still better than the individual ships going for their own locks I think it'll see about the same amount of play as Tar Sync does now. So probably not much influence.

  7. 1. Same team, though not entirely accurate. His ability says he changes the range requirement of Missile and Torpedo secondary weapons by 1 to a minimum of 0 and a max of 3. The argument against it is that he doesn't directly state he can attack at range 0 in his ability... Sound familiar to another upcoming card ability that is causing disagreements? (/cough Hondo) 2. I do, I was just laying out what @Managarmr may have been referring to (fingers crossed for a mod upgrade that adds red SLAM, Coaxium will finally have a use outside of the Fireball). Max had it brought up to him on the GenCon stream when they previewed the Squad Pack.

  11. From what I remember of his personality, it's been a ******* decade and a half, it would need 3 things: 1. Room for a "mini"bar 2. Space for allot of gals 3. Big guns So YT-2400 seems to fit.
  12. Other than Max said he was working on an update for it during the Adepticon Stream and it not being released yet? I have no doubt life is hectic right now, to say the least, but update is needed. Rhymer with Adv Prots or other R1 Torps/Missiles against a target at R0 for one... Number of times Sunny Bounder can trigger per attack for another (a really old one, wording on her timing has two possible "legal" interpretations). There's a few more that aren't Hondo, who can wait till the Sept RR update at a minimum (mostly sticks in the mud refusing to accept that an ability doesn't have to have the word "can" in it can trigger the supersede Golden Rule with that one), browse through the Rules sub-forum sometime. They still haven't answered if MGT's can barrel roll through asteroids (US judges have said yes, EU judges have said no...)
  13. Okay, semi-metaphor seems to have confused a couple. In plain English, I think Corran is unlikely to ever be "viable" competitively without a complete neutering of the core Rebel identity. Thus "When they ditch Hyperspace as a game format.", which is something I think most will agree is most likely not going to happen in 2.0.

  16. 😒... Oh, yay... "Muh Lore!!!!" 😒... You're comparing persimmons to oranges. The only thing they have in common is their color/veneer and that they're fruit/games... To get that effect in XWTMG you have to reduce the the Shield charge value by 1 via equipping the upgrade. Are you also sideways arguing that Angled Deflectors should be baseline and not cost a shield?

Maybe have the ship ability grant it a calc token after a blue maneuver in addition to the one gainable by performing an action (swapping focus to calc on the action bar is the default for droids)? I can also see them upping the hull to 4. As for dial maybe move the K-Turn and Tallons on the Vulture's dial to higher speeds (so 2K and Tallon 3)?

  19. The "Simple Really" from me is that walking a ship with baseline Reinforce to an Angled Deflector less equiv would result in +1 shield charge on the ship. In other words, the TIE/Rb has a shield but it isn't an omnidirectional one like we're used to seeing (as you basically outline). Admittedly the "simple" part is really dependent on personal perspective.

  22. Whoot! Edit1: @FlyAndtheMighty To answer your question about S&V and Sat Salvo (If it hasn't already been). Kimogila, Andrasta Firespray and Y-Wings (those are the 3 chassis with reload in S&V) all can make use of it with the Kimo specifically having a semi-synergy with the talent against targets in bullseye (other than against ******* force users). Edit2: @Jeff Wilder Bare Scum Han pilot has dropped 6 points after remaining unchanged for 5 points updates.
  23. I think the AI is their gunner. I could be wrong but I doubt it has a gunner slot.
