Welcome to the Church of Imperial Assault 😄

But no, no tauntaun ('cause adding extra movement to Rebels would completely break many missions).

Grab all the expansions you want (and can afford) and dig up some friends, and you'll have hour after hour of joy with this game 🙂

Advise: The Imperial player might want to google any missions for troubleshooting suggestions and fixes. There are a couple of unbalanced missions here and there, especially in the Core campaign + Bespin & Lothal expansions that can do with a tweak. The game, I find, works best if you play it semi-friendly and not too competative; the Imperial player surelly doesn't need to win missions to have fun with this, so it they are a lot more experienced than the Rebel players they might want to consider cutting the heroes some slack. Oh, and the Subversive Tactics Imperial class deck is super-good and no fun...

My guess is he means March 2019.  Likely when they officially said we'd be getting no new physical content.

Much as I love the game, I've just accepted that it is dead, and officially so by the end of March.
My kit will sit on the shelf, and the tiles will probably get used for D&D sometimes, but otherwise, I'm not giving FFG any more money just for them to stop supporting it (which is their right to do - I'm not bitter about that).

We never got an article, but the developers have confirmed the end of physical product.

I'd say that at this point they're less elusive (though they were for a while) and simply just not very thorough.

Surprised to see an official end of life announcement for Destiny.  Still don't see why IA can't have clarification.  Yes, I know it's all but dead and they've announced no new physical product.  Why have articles from FFG addressing these facts been elusive?

Nexu size, or more likely Dewback size - it would depend on the model (anyone seen a Kuill-riding-Blerrg 3D print suitable for IA?). It would of course impact his effectiveness and hence value either way, so that would need to be decided sooner rather than later.
Yeah, I think from comments here and my own thoughts, a less powerful attack attack and a lower cost is necessary. I originally intentionally went for the Blerrg being slow for cavalry but on reflection there's no reason for it to be slower than a Dewback.
You know, that never occurred to me before - all the grey/regular uniques are playable heroes (and vice versa). I always just thought some were regular and some elite based on how well-trained they were deemed to be. But I've just looked through them in the Card Viewer and you're absolutely right. So yeah, Kuiil should be elite/red. Thanks for pointing that out.
It's a very minor issue because in Skirmish it makes no difference and in Campaign it only matters when you take them as an Ally/Villain and they have to take an attribute test, which is very rare. But nevertheless, that's the clear pattern.
With the above comments in mind, how about this? Still not much more than a starting point, to be clear - no pretence of balance or playtesting yet. Comparable to a Dewback but with some pros and some cons so I've guessed at the same cost.

Oh, and thanks for the Mandalorian helmets comments, it's interesting to hear.

It seems "the Great Purge" happened just after Sabine helped lead the revolt on Mandalore with her parents and allied clans against the Empire. Barely anyone survived (the empire had access to weapons that could "get past" the Beskar. (it didn't penetrate or damage the armor itself, just the organics within) remember the pile of armor outside the Armorsmith's forge? It may have happened again...) and the remaining Mandalorians seems to have gone "into hiding."
This Mandalorian remnant clan seems to have decided to uphold a new rule: no helmet removal. Maybe as a way to honor the fallen?

That's a shame, though perhaps not a surprise. Best of luck to all affected.
Wouldn't it be great if they put out one more release of the app, that didn't even need to offer any new features, but just happened to contain all the tile assets for the game, including the ones missing from previous asset bundles? I mean... *cough*.

Some unrelated branch shutting down doesn't mean diddle for LotA. It's as unlikely to get new content as before.
(And I don't even know what diddle means in this context. -- Edit: apparently nothing. Replace with "dit" or somesuch word. Edit2: diddly was the word I was thinking... as in diddly squat.)

Sarcasm aside, this is why I wanted to avoid it, since now we're just talking about the movie and not the game, which is already a tired discussion.

I dare to utter my boring reason why I like or do not like a trilogy: While the Sequel Trilogy actually did have a few good ideas, it lacked a strong core to hold them together and develop them properly, in my opinion. Visually it was stunning, but that's not enough. The Original Trilogy had a classic hero's journey at its core, coupled with the growing daring of the Rebellion and strong archetypical supporting protagonists and antagonists. It introduced a whole range of old ideas in a new, innovative form in the first movie, developed ALL major characters in the second movie, and had a bittersweet resolution of the central conflict in the third movie. It is a ride. The Prequel Trilogy also had a very strong core - the fall of a hero coupled with the fall of the Republic, but it failed to properly develop the ideas it attached to this strong core.
That being said, I do not hate neither the PT nor the ST - they both failed to ignite my enthusiasm, but I can see some good things in them and springing from them (which in the case of the PT actually has happened). I guess since the PT Star Wars is more interesting, daring and innovative on TV than in the cinema.
Since - in my view - the ST lacks a strong core, or central idea, I don't see in which way it would enrich IA aside from cool-looking new figures.
I hope this wasn't too boring.
