    Hi guys,
Here is my Vader following the Master's video

The light of the saber is not as cool as I expected, I will enforce the glaze a bit more I think..

I'll see what I can do - I'll be tackling the Clones a bit later this month.

Awesome! I especially love your security droids. I had been planning on doing mine like that and I'm glad someone else appreciates them!
I can't tell from the video, but does the droid body look fine if you don't add the backpack? I want to nail the security droid look, but not if it reveals an unfinished back on the droid.

That is a work of art Andy.  Can I ask what paints/washes you used?  I use Citadel mostly

I’m sure you could do either.  Adding the basing paste let’s you make the surface to your own style, but you risk covering up the ATST parts that are scattered throughout.  I just used paint, wash and drybrushing on mine.

Hi Zephyr!  I'm not scheduled to cover Jyn or the Pathfinders as videos, but I do have Jyn on my shelf waiting to be painted so I'll likely cover her as a PDF at some point.

Glad to hear more Legion content is coming Sorastro.  My landspeeder has been burning a hole in my shelf since I bought it.  Question though:  where are Jun Erso and the rebel pathfinder on your to-do list?

    Hi Zephyr444!
Thank you so much for the kind words, and I'm sorry for the late reply!  January is a crazy month at our house due to our having so many family birthdays (and we tend to go a bit crazy with the cake-making as you'll see in the tweet below!)
Regarding brush care, I'm afraid I'm pretty lazy in how I treat mine, but I do think a good quality brush will generally last a lot longer than a cheap one.  As Aniron rightly mentions there are some good soap-like brush cleaners out there - I've heard really good things about Masters Brush Cleaner (https://goo.gl/BDnR2H) although I've yet to try it myself.
I have used a liquid brush cleaner called Zest-it (https://goo.gl/RiEZTS) though, and it's really good; after giving the brush a good clean in some water, a quick dip in some Zest-it and a whole load more pigments come away from the brush.
Apart from trying a cleaner, it's also worth remembering to try not to let paint or shade reach the ferrule of the brush.  Although I do it all the time in the videos, I'm usually using an old brush, before switching to a newer one to actually paint with.
I hope this helps a little!

Hey Sorastro, i dont know if you're tired of hearing this, but but you are an inspiration to anyone getting into this hobby.  And you being 'official' with Lucasfilm is just the coolest ever.
But i do have a question that i think some people here have as well.  Do you have any suggeations on brush care?  I always rinse my brushes in new water after each painting session, and i store them upright, off the bristles.  But on my more frequently used brushes, like my No. 0 detailing brush, the fine points keep getting undone and splayed out.  Thoughts?
And you keep being you my dude.

    Hi folks!
As the pace of my Star Wars Legion output is picking up I thought it appropriate to start a single thread where I can put pictures, links and answer questions etc.
Most of you have already met Luke of course:
I'm now pleased to be able to share the next episode which covers the Rebel Troopers:
    ...and the AT-RT:
    Introducing the Stormtroopers:
    ...and the Speeder Bikes:
    No introduction needed:

You use the terrain of course ....

AT-RT has an impact weapon and might be cheap enough and fast enough to position it out of arc to get some hits in. The Air speeder is also fast enough to come up behind it as well. There are ways. Sadly, you got to scatter your forces so that AT-ST doesn't wreck you before you can kill it.

Sorastro, you are the reason I'm buying Legion.  I love your videos like everyone here and I can't wait to use your methods.  I have to ask though:  what's something you want them to put into Legion so you could paint it?

You want them to do something that would substantially increase the cost to make each miniature.  In a game that involves a lot of miniatures on each side.  That increase in cost would demand an increase in price to maintain the margins they want to work with.
You aren't going to be able to move a product that is priced so high it's unattractive to even the target audience. Do you really think a Core Set for anything would sell for $150? You're going to sticker shock out most people that would otherwise have thought about purchasing that game.  And you're going to do so with a questionable quality of product.
