WOO! I finally finished version 1.0 of my Lord of the Rings setting for Genesys. This is by far my biggest one yet, and as difficulty and time-consuming as it was, I loved every moment of it. Now all I need to do is find a group of people to test it out. I am glad to be able to be the first to bring this wonderful world into Genesys!

Please give me as much feedback as you can and let me know any ways you think it could be improved. I will likely make some minor changes in upcoming weeks, though the biggest revisions will probably come after Realms of Terrinoth comes out. I am going to be cannibalizing that thing and assimilating it into Adventures in Middle Earth as soon as I get my hands on it.
Edit: Version 2.0 is finished! Now that I have the Terrinoth book I have been able to utilize some of the rules inside it to better flesh out Adventures in Middle Earth, with the new talents, Heroic Abilities, and crafting rules being particularly exciting for me. I have also made various other small edits, adding rules for Treks and Hunger and fixing typos. This thing is now 64 pages, almost three times the size of my second largest setting pdf for Genesys. I think I might have to go back and fix those up at some point...
Anyways, please let me know what you think of my little Lord of the Rings sourcebook! Any and all feedback is appreciated.
(Also, I have it on Google Drive this time so you don't have to deal with the problems with GM Binder.)

Hello again everyone! It's been a while since I've been active on here, so some of you might not know me, but I created the Adventures in Azeroth (Warcraft) and Adventures in Middle-Earth (Lord of the Rings) settings for Genesys, and way back when Genesys was brand spanking new I made a little series of settings under the title of "The OmniSphere." One of those worlds was the Unseen World, an urban fantasy setting.
Well, after a long absence, I'm back with The Unseen World 2.0, a revamped urban fantasy sourcebook set in a fully realized urban fantasy world, complete with unique supernatural factions (utilizing the Favor system from Shadow of the Beanstalk), a new Wealth optional rule, an Agency system, and an in-depth look at Las Vegas, the City of Sin, and the various supernatural factions, threats, and individuals that can be found within the city. This book has everything you could want for playing an urban fantasy Genesys campaign, complete with a ready to go city to fight and/or be monsters in.

I'd welcome any feedback you have for the pdf, and I hope some of you enjoy running your own campaigns in the setting!
The Unseen World is also the setting of the first season of an upcoming podcast, The Genesys Archives, coming in August/September 2020.

I am super excited to introduce to you all something I and my friends have been working on for a long time now: The Genesys Archives! The Genesys Archives is a ttrpg actual play podcast using Fantasy Flight Games's Genesys roleplaying system, centered around storytelling. The Genesys Archives is currently available on Youtube, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Anchor, Breaker, Radiopublic, and soon to be more.
Our first campaign is set in the Unseen World, an urban fantasy setting of my own creation that some of you might recognize, especially if you are veterans here on the forums. Specifically, our campaign follows a gang of mortals, semi-mortals, and supernatural misfits as they try to survive in Las Vegas, the City of Sin. The player characters include Joan, a tiny, sassy young Magus who works as a bartender at the local faerie bar, Elianna, a regal and composed half-fae socialite, Voltaire, a suave and confident fixer for the satanic mob, Cayden, a world-weary monster hunter/bounty hunter, and Rian, a much fresher-faced monster hunter. They are brought together as a string of strange murders risks tipping the fragile balance between the supernatural factions of the city.
We will be releasing new episodes every Friday. An introduction and the first episode are currently available.

Shadow Hunters and Witch Doctors are in an interesting position. You could play them like a shadow priest, which would be the Light skill and the Dark Insight talent, or you could play them as a shaman (which, since you mention lightning bolts, seems like the route you are leaning towards). In the shaman case, you can just choose the Elemental skill, which is already Cunning-based.

Version 1.4 is now up and the appendix is finished. This should be it for this pdf, at least until WoW releases another expansion.

Version 1.2 is now up! I've had a bit of a hiatus from setting creation to play & GM more, but since I am doing another Warcraft campaign soon I decided to come back and make some edits and fixes to this document that I've been meaning to for a while. I mostly just fixed a couple mistakes and added a bunch of talents. I hope you enjoy it!

I’m currently working on an Appendix, which will add new races & rules specific to things introduced to the lore during the course of World of Warcraft and its various expansions.

Adventures in Azeroth is placed mostly during the events after Warcraft III and before WoW. The reason why Greymane can control himself is because the Night Elves did a ritual with the Scythe of Elune during Cataclysm that gave the Worgen control of themselves again. Before that (and thus during the time period of this setting) the change was uncontrolled. If you want to play a game that takes place after Cataclysm, then I would suggest removing the uncontrolled nature of the change, but any games that take place beforehand should keep it there.

These are pretty well done. My pdf focuses on the time between Warcraft 3 and WoW, so I probably won’t add them in (as they were all either undiscovered or nonexistent at that point) but feel free to use this for your own stuff.
One caveat: Void Elves Use Void/Shadow magic, which mechanically speaking is the Light skill with the Dark Insight talent. Fel and Shadow are two very different powers (different enough that Sargeras bound himself to Fel energies in order to defeat the Void).

In the career section I talk about how you can edit the existing careers to emulate specific types of people you find on Azeroth. A Deathknight is basically a Warrior, but you trade out Leadership and Brawl for Arcane & Knowledge (Forbidden). You would also need the Dark Insight talent to turn that Arcane into necromancy, and if you really wanted, you could talk with your GM about having an edited variant of the Cursed Runeblade (pg 68), since those are the iconic weapons of a Deathknight (or just a sword with Orb of Frost, Orb of Shadow, or Orb of Venom). A Demon Hunter would be similar to Rogue, but you would switch out the Charm, Cool, Streetwise, and Skulduggery with Fel, Knowledge (Forbidden), Perception, and Vigilance, and of course you would be wielding two warglaives.
