After they have ruined most of the brands that made me fall in love with them, FFG are now taking away the last thing I have from them.
Their forums have been a way for me to feel like im part of the community, armada and legion has both been big for me as well as xwing previously. Ive not been very active but ive always lurked, read, laughed and cried on these forums.
 
But now FFG is truly dead, be it their own fault or asmodee I see this as the final sigh before the name perishes completely. I feel so sad that things went this way, FFG was once the undisputed grand masters of boardgames and with XW they moved into and took firm hold of miniature gaming as well. Man I wanna cry...Think I am tbh...

I got notified yesterday my order shipped from GN! It seems the rumors of shortages of product were wrong. Happy to get this before Christmas!!!

I still haven't received my X-Wing or Armada preorders either. The email I got from them today said the problem was shipping from distributors to GN. They also said they were expecting both X-Wing and Armada in the next two weeks. So I'm guessing it will be after Christmas when folks start getting them since GN is also backed up a week.

My biggest problem is the app. Even if this a one and done game, what if I want to revisit it in say 5 to 10 years. Will FFG still be supporting and updating the app or will one day when I update or buy a new iPad and find that the app doesn’t work anymore. Then I have a big box of stuff with no way to play the game. It’s my problem with all app games.
