  1. I've been trying to get an answer out of FFG about the poor EU support from the last print runs, but all they say is to check the upcoming page. I kindly replied saying I did that, but no stock was ever sent to the EU let alone UK, and no FLGS was even able to order the dwarrowdelf reprint, seems like it only ever went to the USA - FFG just dodge this question, I did state that now the UK enforces the import tax, then it would be great to see some actual stock support for the EU. I am not hopeful we will ever see a restock in the EU from FFG/Asmodee going forwards, from what I can tell their distribution arm is a mess and really hard to deal with. Still IF anyone finds dwarrowdelf anywhere then let the community know lol.

  3. As a new player to the game I am looking at getting past the core set now - any idea when/if Dwarrowdelf cycle is due for a reprint and restock, I've not been able to find it anywhere!
  4. Nooooooooooo you've ruined my plans!!!! That'll teach me to read cards properly lol. thanks for that.
  5. I would recommend super glue on the contact you do have - but maybe if you are basing it, then put down a layer of your base material, like the GW earth texture, or Vallejo earth mix, then stick in your AT-ST into that, when that hardens it will hold it in place - this is what i did and didn't need any glue at all, and it looks like the AT-ST is heavy and making indentations into the base as it walks. If you have stuck it down minimal contact, then once dry you can add more super glue (be careful to only put in in the gap), then sprinkle on Bicarbonate of Soda. This will react and harden to a plastic almost immediately and give you a supreme hold. You can then sand this smooth.
  6. Just photocopy your original card, print it out and sleeve it - voila multiple copies. But your OP post is incorrect about having to buy Rebels. All upgrades will be available in your faction boxes somewhere, you are just being forced to buy units you don't want, rather than faction units you don't want. I also plan on proxying flame trooper models into my existing core box, as i don't want to buy a snowtrooper box, just for access to that model type and card, which i think is fair for friendly games, but i agree with tournaments enforcing no proxy models, but they should allow for proxy cards. FFG cannot keep on with their current practice, like you said why do I have to spend £60 on 3 stormtrooper sets to get 3 cards - for me, proxy cards are the only viable way forwards. I agree that however you can only proxy cards once the units have hit retail and are available to purchase. Either that or FFG should really look at doing card packs as an accessory. In friendly games, use your own cards. I hate to think tournaments would enforce an official card, as long as they are checked for correct stats and are retail available, then "other than being corporate aholes", TO's should let it slide.
  7. I glued all the legs in place, as i would never be that bothered about reposing it to be honest - laziness. However I did decide to magnetise the weapons - i bought some 2mm (diameter) x 1mm (depth) magnets. A 2-3mm drill bit works fine, and i put the pegs into the holes and drilled a small space to put the magnets in. I then did the same to all 3 weapons, they stick fine, and means i can have different loadouts and show weapons getting knocked off etc etc. I did the same for the at-rt too - but only use a 2mm drill bit as the weapon sprues are slightly smaller than the at-st.
  8. My take on this would be: 1) The enemy unit at range 1-2 performs an action (move, dodge, attack). This triggers your standby ability, as an action was performed by a unit within range 1-2. You would then choose to do an attack or a move action, so you could then move your unit to follow the enemy, or perform an attack. It doesn't say you have to attack the unit triggering the action, so if they had moved out of your range, you can attach another valid unit. I think it's there to allow you to have some reaction on your opponents turn, either repositioning or attacking. ### But i can also see slight confusion in that does the whole triggering action need to be within range 1-2 start and end. #### I see it as a way of following a unit or counterattacking (overwatch, stanby shooting as in Bolt action) - so i would read it that the action is triggered at range 1-2 regardless if it ends in range 1-2. oh I've rambled, and not clear myself now lol
