I think you're thinking of it wrong. What that monster really wants to do is be at wherever that target is. If it wanted to be hunting the players it would be a hunter with that instruction. They're not all intelligent master minds. Its goal is not to stop us. Its here to purse that single minded instruction. Were I a cultists with 2 places to be and one had jerks waiting to beat my face in when I got there, I'd go to the other one.

Pending any shocking revelations in the campaign, I'd love to see a playable version of Ichtaca. Shes got guardian right in her title

The way I would interpret the rules is that you only shuffle the exploration deck if you've drawn and set aside a location that didn't meet the criteria for putting it into play.  Then you shuffle those cards into the deck.
If you just draw a single location and can put it into play, or just draw a treachery, you don't shuffle.

Short answer no. The only way to advance the act deck from 2a to 2b is by clearing 6 ancient locations of clues

Well, thats why its cursed. Even if it makes things easier to find it still leaves a fog so thick even flashlights and lanterns can't pierce it. Because I would assume that modifier restriction would work both ways

Essentially it is because despite Christopher’s bonus being “constant”, it is actually a modifier which is applied to the investigator’s base intellect for free every time intellect is checked.
In this case The Historical Museum’s card text is in effect while investigating, so a skill test must be taking place. Step 5 of a skill test is “Determine investigator’s modified skill value: Start with the base skill (of the skill that matches the type of test that is resolving) of the investigator performing this test, and apply all active modifiers, including the appropriate icons that have been committed to this test, effects of the chaos token(s) revealed, and all active card abilities that are modifying the investigator's skill value.”
Dr. Milan’s modifier tries to act during this step (his +1 is an active card ability), but any positive modifier is not applied because of the location card text, so sadly he can’t help.
As said above, anything that sets the base skill to a different value is not a modifier as defined by the rules, so Duke can be used as normal.

It would be 3 damage in their case no? Isn't it 1-per-Investigator damage to make him run?

The game also has you take a portal directly to the city of the great race while in human form which I suspect could be a thing that happens in this scenario depending on the choices we make. We are, after all, breaking time as we know it. What's the difference from walking into aztec times and walking into yithian times logistically? There is potentially none.
As for the worth of humanity, I suspect it has less to do with us being worthless and more to do with they yithian respect for sentient life. I suspect both the Pyramid and beetle race were not sentient otherwise the Yithians would have left them to their own devices so they could study those devices.
Alternatively, we might deduce that the Yithians in their original form had four arm like appendages and consider that a mandatory need since the yithians have 4 tendrils and bettle people would presumably have two upper arms if they suddenly started walking on their hind legs

In that regard you show resolve scenario resolutions in the same manner you would resolve a card's effects. Resolve each bullet point in order going down the list.

Technically the city and the yithians exist on earth jillions of years ago in a long forgotten age. They body swap across both time and space. The ruins of that city would in fact be on earth.

    Greetings,

Arcane Research reads “After each scenario of a campaign, reduce the experience cost of the firstSpell card you upgrade before the next scenario by 1.”

In order to gain the experience discount from Arcane Research, you must be upgrading a card with the Spell trait. You would not get the experience discount if you are purchasing a newSpell, nor would you get the discount if you are upgrading a card that does not have the Spell trait (even if that card would upgrade into a card with the Spell trait). Additionally, the minimum experience cost for upgrading any card is always 1 (see “Experience”, RR page 5), so you would need to be paying 2 or more experience in order for the discount to apply.

    Cheers,

Personally a fan of the notion that one of the underlying secret reasons for the great war was to stop a ritual presumably the Germans were trying to pull off to assure their win that was drawing in monsters to either to aid them or who were just assaulting both sides of the conflict
