Yes, it is. Imperials have less than half the pool of upgrades to pull from as Scum, and on top of that never get wide open upgrade bars. Plus a lot of Imperial pilots have a very limited set of upgrades available. Take Soontir for example- he was made for PTL- there's simply no other way to build him. Ever tried PS11 Soontir? Yeah it sucks.

The Scurrg changed my mind on that. Nym is the perfect small ship- with no downsides. Great dial. Amazing upgrade bar. Highest HP small ship. Nym has high PS. Nym has borderline broken ability. Nym is the best Arc Dodger in the game. Add that on to the best large ship in the game, the JM5K, and yeah, I start to smell favoritism. I think the "Lets give Scum ships every advantage in the game, with no downsides" mentality is ruining this game and the devs should be ashamed how poorly they've handled balance. Add on to that the ridiculous time it takes them to FAQ anything (and their inability to get FAQs right)- and it all adds up to the conclusion that the dev team is either incompetent or woefully understaffed/funded. It's a shame too, because I like this game and want it to be good.

The Atacama's altitude is OP, it pushes the Sahara and Gobi out of the meta! (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

Is this just by population, or does this take into account the 'Magic' of each pilot/archetypes? IE does this take into account performance like the Meta Analyzer does?

It's actually VERY similar. List Juggler as of Deadeye U-Boats I'd argue Imps are worse off now due to AGI being a worthless stat and nearly their entire fleet being overcosted for that reason. MOV just wrecks Imps right now, there's nearly no list you can field that can preserve points now that Imps basically have no defenses.

List Juggler Results as of 9/19/17 All right! We are rapidly approaching the milestone of having no Imperial lists in the Top 20! Just so everyone understands the significance: The game has NEVER had one faction be so poorly represented at any time since the release of Scum and the 3 faction game. I, for one, would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the Dev team- YOU'RE SO CLOSE TO YOUR DREAM OF REMOVING IMPERIALS FROM THE GAME! REACH FOR THE STARS!

Why is Scum the most powerful faction in the galaxy? Why don't pirates/bounty hunters rule the entire civilized galaxy when they have access to ships that are miles better than even the most advanced Imperial ships?

I dunno, it seems pretty intentional- even those ships you mentioned, the Kihraxz, SV, and Scyk are all getting nice little overhauls/upgrades. Scum ships get treated like treasured heirlooms- whereas Imperials are just given as little attention as possible, many mechanics left broken (like Cloak), and all of their ships are terribly statted/overcosted. You can just tell that Alex D's favorite faction is Scum- it permeates every aspect of this game.

My favorite way of flying casual and restoring balance to the game: Only flying mirror matchups. Faction v. Faction the game is perfectly balanced if you only fly Reb v. Reb, Imp v. Imp, and Scum v. Scum. It's actually really nice.

Green dice are for: Inflating the points cost of Imperial ships so that they're not competitive. Considering all the things that bypass Agility, AGI is basically a dump stat now, lol. HP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> AGI

I like both these solutions. It never ceases to amaze me how TLT made it into the game: "Lets make a turret that outclasses every other turret by a wide margin!" "Yeah, OK, lets go to lunch early! This job is EASY, yo!"

It really is a shame they decided to show such blatant favoritism towards Scum. It's a neat faction with lots of interesting characters- it would be neat if they had a flavor beyond "We have the best ships/upgrades/dials in the galaxy somehow, lulz." Good for you for not playing a JM5K- its a crutch.

YES. He's not invincible, but he is so over the top as to completely ruin many aspects of the game. Don't have an answer to Nym specifically? Then your list is garbage and you will get destroyed before the cut, as something like 60% of all lists run Nym. I just hate whomever designed the Scurrg, such blatant favoritism.
