You have to be a bit careful about scaling; make sure to print them at "Actual size" or equivalent, rather than fitting to the page. If you are sneaky you can be a bit more efficient by combining them (the squadron boxes, for example, can fit two to a page of A4).
I've been using the cheapest 200gsm card I could get on Amazon and  a standard glue stick, and they seem to be holding up fine for now - sometimes stuff falls out of the gearboxes, but that may be due to me not cutting/scoring as neatly as I needed to.

I try not to gamble on principle. And... I don't really care either way, it's more of a curiosity than anything else.

I took some screen grabs from the trailer and did some rough pixel-counting calculations in another thread. By my estimate the Resistance Bomber is around 30m long (and 22m tall) - making it a bit shorter than the Millennium Falcon. Longer than the YT-2400 and Firespray, shorter than the Decimator, VCX-100 and YV-666, and about as long as the HWK. This also fits with the LEGO models and with it being based on WWII or later bombers.
So if it is made, it should be a large ship rather than an epic one. Certainly it is nowhere close the GR-75's 90m, Gozanti's 60-70m or CR90's 120m-150m.

And unless the guns are really heavy its centre of mass is going to be off - causing all sorts of problems keeping it straight and not spinning. Again at least with the B-Wing the engines were closer to the cockpit end.
Do these people not understand basic mechanics/physics?

    Screen grab for anyone interested:

Looks a bit like the Viscount-class Star Defender - assuming that it is flying top-right to bottom-left. It could be going the other way.

How about something completely different like the Endurance-class Fleet Carrier, and its associated Nebula-class Star Destroyer? Give the Rebels/Republic something big that isn't a lumpy Mon Cal ship.

Going by the best information we have; the LEGO Resistance Bomber set is a bit shorter in terms of bricks than the normal-scale Millennium Falcon ones. They're tall but not that long.
The Falcon is about 35m long. Going by this image I'd estimate the lower gun turret on the Bomber to be about 2m high. Then comparing with the 4 bombers we can see most of in this picture I get estimates of between 29m and 32m for the bombers' length and 21-23m for their height (which is a surprisingly narrow range for how rough pixel-counting is).
Wookieepedia puts the GR-75 at 90m and Gozanti at 64m; the VCX-100 at 40m, YT-2400 and Firespray-31 at 21m, HWK at 29m, YV-666 at 47m or 62m, Lambda Shuttle, IG-2000, Scurrg and Jumpmaster at 20m and Decimator at 38m.
So unless something has gone very wrong somewhere that would make the Resistance Bomber within the scale of the single-stand squadrons, not the flotillas.
Which makes sense; they're almost certainly based on WWII bomber designs (just with one large vertical wing, rather than horizontal ones) - and they're mostly in the 20-30m range.

This is from the Store Championship a couple of weeks ago at iBuyWargames - also my first attempt at putting together a video for this.
Feedback on either the Armada play or the video itself is welcome; if people like it I'll try to put together more - although I don't know when I'll next get to play any Armada.
    MC80s everywhere...

Grumbleduke got a reaction from DiabloAzul in Is it just me, or are Raddus and the Profundity really bad?
I would go with that they're all "At the start of..." situations. Multiple things can happen during an "At the start of..." period, and until they're all resolved, we're still "At the start of..." that period - we haven't moved into that period properly. So once something has HA'd in, we're still "at the start of" the round, meaning more "at the start of" effects can happen. But I can also see the logic in it being the other way - that the condition for allowing these effects is instantaneous, it is merely the resolution that happens when the player chooses.
To use an existing example, how does Hyperspace Assault interact with Bel Iblis? If a ship HA's in on the fifth round (for some crazy reason) does it get the Bel Iblis token?
On a similar note, has anyone had issues with Han Solo and Reinforced Blast Doors interacting; both happen "At the start of the ship phase" - does this mean initiative comes into play and if Han Solo is 1st player he can activate before his opponent resolves their RBDs, potentially killing a ship before it can remove the damage? Based on the RRG it looks like it does:
I guess the same applies to Tarkin, Hondo and the Fleet Command upgrades; a first player Han Solo could potentially take them out before they get to activate during a round.

Very belatedly, tell that to the AF Mk II. Or the MC30c. Or the E-Wing, TIE Phantom, Decimator, Scurrg, Aggressor or Jumpmaster. The Gladiator isn't particularly canon either.
I'd like to see the Liberator-class Cruiser; a small- or medium-based ship for the Rebels, with some decent side arcs and a high Squadron value.

I think I picked up one of these; an Imperial Fighter Squad I, after the reprint. The English version didn't have the change on the card - it still listed close-medium range. The packaging is the same as the earlier ones - the TIE Fighter on the front, not the pre-release Interceptor packaging.

Depends on your local meta; at a SC a couple of weeks ago I ended up facing an MC80a in all three rounds, and a two MC80a list just won Australian nationals. They're definitely out there.
