  1. During the first few seconds of the asteroid chase scene you can see the female X-wing pilot divert energy from weapons and shields into engine. Blue dots = engine, Red= weapons, Green= shields.
  2. I think it could work. Especially for very fast ships like A-wings and Tie Interceptors/Defenders. These are from Star Trek Attack Wing.
  3. I received a code. It arrived about an hour ago.
  4. The link on the FFG news page links to a random google doc. Is this legit?
  5. YT-2400 appeared in AHN Special Edition. It was flying away above Mos Eisley.
  6. There are a few problems with Dash in 2.0. 1. Cost. He just costs to much to be paired with many effective ships. 2. Red barrel rolls. 1.0 Dash had white barrel rolls which allowed him to keep stress free for longer. In my opinion you must have expert handling on him in 2.0 in order to keep him open to coordination for more action economy. 3. 1 less shield. Yes he received one more hull to compensate but in 2.0 crits can be much more devastating to large base ships. There are very few wingmen that match well with Dash. The best one I've found so far is Lando in the YT-1300. Dash Rendar (91) Expert Handling (4) Perceptive Copilot (8) Shield Upgrade (6) Ship total: 109 Half Points: 55 Threshold: 6 Lando Calrissian (79) Nien Nunb (5) Jyn Erso (2) Shield Upgrade (4) Ship total: 90 Half Points: 45 Threshold: 7 Total: 199 View in Yet Another Squad Builder 2.0: https://raithos.github.io/?f=Rebel Alliance&d=v8ZsZ200Z39X120WWW54W165WWY43XWWW52W40WW165W&sn=Unnamed Squadron&obs= Lando is the key to keeping Dash alive longer. You should always try to coordinate Dash using Lando's ability. At least during times where you know Dash is going to be focused down. Dash having a white barrel roll plus 2 focus tokens with perceptive co-pilot lets him keep mobile, dodge some arcs and still have both offensive and defensive mods. And having Jyn crew on Lando lets both ships take an evade when needed. Sure its only 2 ships worth of firepower. But that's still 7 red dice coming at you.
  7. I'm so happy Dash went down 9 points. Now I can run him and Lando with even more options.
  8. The Dash build I've had most success with these days is Dash w/expert handling and Perceptive copilot alongside Lando YT1300 w/Nien Numb and Jyn Erso crew. I'm 5-0 with this list. Lando is a great coordinate battery for Dash. Both ships can get actions and still hit hard.
  9. I'm surprised people are not running her more. I won a 20 person league months ago with a Sev+2 Inq+Jendon list. I think her special ability should be used sparingly since it drains all of her force, but she can get that clutch damage through to win you the game when you need it. One way to mitigate her force drain is to put Palp on the shuttle. That way she always has a mod.
  10. What is the release date of the Epic conversion kit?
  11. The only Imperial ship in that screenshot is the Nebulon-B. I doubt the gunboat will make an appearance.
  12. I could care less about event exclusive ships. I'm not one of those people who have to have every single variant/repaint/movable s-foil of a ship that there is. Ultimately I understand that there are collectors out there that enjoy that sort of stuff. There are ways of getting these exclusive ships and cardboard if you are willing to part with enough of your money. I don't see what there is to be bitter about. Either you purchase a stock version at a retail store for $20 per small base or you pay $100 plus on the secondary market for the "exclusive" version. Its all available to you. And like others have said its a way for FFG to motivate people to try harder and fly better to get this extra stuff.
  13. Its his usual play style. If he would have not stalled so long he might have had more time to bounce back during his match with Oli.
  14. Growing up and during my entire 20's I was a PC gamer only type to guy. I used to call board games "bored" games. Then a few years ago while on a quest to get out of the house more and meet friends my wife suggested a Star Wars related hobby. I found the X-wing display at Barnes and Noble one day and jumped in head first. I found the nearest LGS near me and luckily they had a strong X-wing community. Ive met many great people since I started and my LGS has also grown and recently moved into a much larger and nicer location that's only a few min more away. To me X-wing is more than just a game. Its friends and social interactions that I would not normally have been exposed too.
