I believe the benefits of a centralised military are many. We may want peace, but it’s better to have a big stick if you need one, than want one and not have it.

Is this limited in any way? it appears that if any number of non unique swarm squadrons were destroyed, they could all come back, at one reduced strength. Is this correct? Thanks.

I’d tried Romodi in a couple of games recently and was unable to get an obstructed shot, so was rather underwhelmed with him. So, I built this MSU list to try to get their own obstructions, rather than relying on asteroids etc. Arquitens Command Cruiser General Romodi Captain Needa Auxilliary Shield Team ECM TRC Hand of Justice Arquitens CC Intel Officer Aux Shield Team ECM LTT GSD1 Capt Brunson Ord Experts Aux Shields Team Ex Racks GSD1 Iden Versio Ord Experts Aux Shield Team Ex racks GSD1 Lira Wessex Ord Experts Aux Shield Team Ex Racks Objectives: Assault: Opening Salvo Defence: Planetary Ion Cannon Navigation: Minefields Total 396 Deployment is the three GSDs facing one of the short table edges (ie flying parallel to the long table edge) but deployed as far forward as possible. The two kittens are deployed closer to the board edge, with their shots being obstructed by the GSDs. This deployment also means that to get to the kittens, my oppo has to get past the GSDs first. I played this recently, against a rebel MSU controlled by my son (20), who I feel is a good player. His list was 2 x MC30, 3xTRC-90, 2xGozanti. I was second player, he chose my Opening Salvo. While I got lucky with a couple of dice rolls (3 natural hit/crits and no misses on 6 black dice, and 3 natural double hits on 3 red dice), I got 10-1 win. I did get a few obstructed shots, so happier with Romodi now. Would like to know what you think of the list, and what changes you would make. Thanks.
