Also, Kylo's pilot ability in an interceptor platform just does not sound great at all. Currently, every time we have had the same pilot in more than one chassis they've had the same ability as long as they are in the same faction. Also, he's PS 6. Hoping for some other, better unique pilots!
Yeah I wouldn't run Kylo with his pilot skill/ability on this. But there's probably a better one!

16 minutes ago, Shockwave said:Each red dice will on average give half a hit (0.5)
So expose (4 Dice) will increase your expected hits from. 1.5 to 2.0 costing you your action and 4 points
Having a Target Lock or Focus will increase that 0.5 to 0.75
3 Dice with Focus or Target Lock will give you 2.25 hits
So, Ignore Expose, take Expertise use Target Lock as your action, hope you don't get stressed.
Note that ive not mentioned the -1 Agility
If you are RAC, then the odds for Expose should be just about slightly better than 2.25 since you can change 1 focus for free.

I tried to put it on Dengar initially. Was confused why it wasnt available in the list. Once i noticed it said "Small ship only" i went "Yeah thats probably a good thing...." lol
It looks like they started doing the "Dengar Test" sometime during development of this wave (After Cad Bane at least). The test consists of someone just asking "Does this make Dengar even more beastly?".

Starvipers with PTL. Then you spin the dial looking for greens and cry.

Would require compiling the list of popular combos for every single pilot, which would be big and a mess. Why I said that just seems awfully complicated.

I click different threads in this forum.... But they all lead to the same thing, wtf?

Both go in the integrated Astromech slot and Engine costs way too much.

Well this doesn't bode well against the new hotness of Captain Nym who is both an Ace Bomber and TLT user.

The TIE, while iconic, is probably the worst ship design in the game. No wonder the Empire fell.
Solar Panels! It's what makes the TIE Fighter the most eco-friendly and cost-efficent ship in the glaxy!

If anything, I would question whether the minimum 1 agility cap is necessary since not all ships even have 1+ agility. If you're worried about 3+ agility targets being brought down to nothing then:
A.) well first of all if the enemy is in that many arcs, then they are likely outplayed
B.) The cap can instead be removing a max of 1-2 OF tokens
C.) The cap can be removed, and instead OF tokens only stack on misses (similar to Operations Specialist).
I love the concepts, though. Here's hoping for squad upgrades!

Yeah, everybody else sees what I did here, right?
Did the k-turn on the Scyk, passed stress out. Stopped. Paused. Slid the dial for the Lancer across the table without ever flipping it over. Not a surprise when my opponent took a full health Lancer off the board with his choice of maneuver. (pre-FAQ)
Didn't that FAQ come with the Lancer release? Since it was supposed to handle the rigged cargo chute included there.

Scared of a bomb hitting 6 ties in a single explosion T_T But dunno how realistic that scenario is.

Buff updates are always better than nerf updates. Nobody likes when their stuff doesn't work anymore, but I think most people enjoy variety! It's why I agree that many good ships don't need nerfs unless they have stupid mechanics like old Manaroo. It's more exciting to see how they fare against the shiny new stuff!
If this does catch on, though, expect to see all old lists abandoned since new stuff is always more exciting than old.

Why does it look like those Y-wings have different paint jobs despite all being the same Y-Wing expansion pack?

You mean Wave 12, right? I think this one is over after Guns for Hire.

45 minutes ago, Marinealver said:agreed, so the best rebalancing simplification I can come up with is top tier combinations get +1 point (just pull from the top cut at the most recent tournaments) and top generics get a minimum cost. But then again re-costing every pilot and upgrade card in the game isn't any less complicated.
Not expecting the meta for this thing to look anything like the current real meta. Who knows what will end up being the best? Think most "good" stuff today deserves a chance in this new environment.
EDIT: Upgrade Tier does sound like a good term. Maybe "tier" alone can work since it's not really a word used in this community to evaluate pilots/lists anyways. Could be misleading elsewhere.

I also like TTS more and find it more user friendly. I tried Vassal first last year and felt like was using some 90s program with the horrible/primitive interface. It is 100% precise, though, which I guess is a plus even if it doesn't actually represent how IRL ships end up moving. Both have automated bumping, automated list building, instant movement by pressing 1 button, undoing commands, etc. Main difference is the graphics and the fact that it's hard to get the perfect camera angle in TTS, which I guess is just like IRL.
Also, it updates just as fast, I think. I actually saw the reddit announcement for TTS wave XI before the Vassal one. Think many of you just aren't even bothering to check what's going on with both games.
It costs less than any of the ships in the game, this forum isn't exactly poverty scene since X-wing is a very expensive game. It is technically infinitely more than $0, but you get what you pay.
If you like TTS, help us grow the community: https://www.reddit.com/r/XWingTTS/

32 minutes ago, piznit said:So is it a tier system for both upgrades and pilots? Like basically every pilot has a list and it says what each upgrade would cost? For example, PtL on Soontier costs 4, but on Leebo, it costs only 1?
That is the result, but the system is that a pilot is either Tier 1, 2 or 3. And all upgrades cost more the higher the tier, doesn't matter which specific one.

Never heard this before, but can't say I haven't learned it the hard way anyways. Very true for developers.

55 minutes ago, Marinealver said:Maybe if there was a way just to track upgrade combos and then add a tax to those ships. (I.E. PTL being +1 point on Soontir Fel) As for ships that are good naked (or in boxers since there is a lot of 0 point upgrades) put in a automatic minimum point increased but allows them to equip upgrades up to the new point at no cost. (example an Academy pilot is 13 points but putting on a 1 point modification does not increase the point cost and putting hull upgrade it only becomes 15 points (not 16) but a naked or 0 point mod will still be 13 points). So far the best thing I can come up with is just use the top tables at tournaments.
I thought of this too, but complex costs is, well, too complicated. Current idea is a more approachable simplification, even if the generalization will cause some sacrifices here and there.

I still like the idea of using Fenn more offensively, so I will have a look at what would suit him for that tactic.
Fearlessness, Stealth Device, and some sort of Ordnance. Just fly straight at your opponent using the Corcodant manuever thing where the wings spin and blast off! How this ship was meant to be played.

TIE Silencer: Kylo Ren Interceptor

I thought Silencer was just his specific ship. Maybe the generics are just TIE/fo Interceptors?
