The burn doesn't/cant have breach as far as I can tell.

He will be at 11/12 yes and the burn will be 4 damage. We need to know if the coordination check can come before burn damage.

Make breach an activated ability that costs advantage?

You can use your action to put out the fire before damage I believe but it will leave you with only a manoeuvre on your turn.

Actually if i can use it oot and on my turn I can use 2 without a ruling on number of times by spending one at the end of @Darth Lectusturn and one on mine. So I will do that flipping 2 dark over those 2 turns to use Intense Presence to recover 8 strain (4 x2) so I will parry all 3 hits for 9 strain. @Darth Lectusits just 2 ranks of grit putting me up to 15 strain. If you are fine with spending the xp it's all good then.

Yes but increasing a stat during an on going match might be bad form. Like playing MTG and adding 2 more plains to your deck in the middle of a game.

Guess I'll gain another 2 strain bringing me up to 15. What are we doing for matches that have already started? Should I just leave my strain at what it was previous and add extra after the heat or increase it now? @Richardbuxton

Regretting not taking the Krayt dragon crystal even after one fight. Arissa in my campaign is dual wielding sabers so the burn from the ingot was the closest I could get. But its actually turned out kinda useless.

I didn't sign up to be a Gm but if no one else has replied in this long I can give a ruling. I'll post it here in case you both reject it. I would say make your saber throw check but you'll need to spend a triumph to actually hit.

I would go with Niman. As you said you have a better natural stat for Lightsaber, 3 Force power lets you learn Protect/Unleash which uses Willpower, and adding those 2 extra Setback dice with the 2 Challenge dice upgrades you can get from Sense makes you quite hard to hit in melee. Plus while Niman doesn't have the Improved or Supreme versions it still has a good number of parry and reflect ranks.

Shouldn't you be at 17/18 wounds if he cannot do the Martial Grace twice per turn?

Suggestions for tournament rules: 1) Random Equipment Caches - So you get the same Xp as the current tourny, but you roll a d100 before the match and receive a premade equipment load-out at random. 2) Specs - You pick one Career Specialisation and gain all the skills in that tree and NO XP for anything else and a standard credit allowance. 3) Non-combat trials - Anything from Charm to Coordination checks randomly rolled and RP'd in a Japanese gameshow style challenge. 4) Equipment Matters - Players are only allowed to take the non-career specs (like Recruit, maybe only it) But are given a large credit amount to by gear (With restrictions)
