I shouldn't matter how 'bulky' the character is you cant just shrug off impending death. This isn't a situation where you can 'just walk it off champ'. And @Darzil is correct in it would be a 6 difficulty medical check as you increase them if you are doing the medicare to yourself by 2 for a total of 6. And another if you don't have any medical equipment for 7.

Nah man, As I said to Nightone a while back this was almost set up to push the boundary and find what needs to be restricted.

12+14 strain damage = 26 I know I can't soak it but I'll go through the motions. Firstly flip a destiny to for Intense Presence to put me down to 1 strain. Strain - 1/16 Spend 3 strain on reflect to reduce the Nova hit by 4 - 12 to 8. Strain - 4/16 Soak 2 of the strain with my armour and take 6 strain. Strain - 10/16 Knockout grenade reflected to reduce by 4 - 14 to 10 - Strain - 13/16 Soak 2 from the grenade to make it 8. Strain - 21/16 So as we knew all along I am out for the count. I apologise myself for this confusion, that ability really doesn't work without physical dice and your system for resolving it still baffles me. BUT! You are the winner and I award the closing narrative to you. (Again I'm sorry I didn't read your sheet correctly!)

Sorry @LordBritish but I need to see something. @awayputurwpn @Nightone along with the issue about Unmatched Fortune, the specific wording of Deadly accuracy is "When acquired choose 1 combat skill Add damage equal to ranks in that skill to ONE hit of a successful attack made using that skill." So during a 2 weapon attack the 3 extra damage is only applied once? (Again I'm sorry @LordBritish but its the finals I may be able to stay up here. Self confessed rules lawyer)

You dont have the upgrade to affect multiple dice with 1 activation. I fully admit I cant soak all this strain but I'd like it done properly.

I think you would need 2 destiny points to flip 2 dice as 2 activation of the sig ability which you don't have enough to do. And I think the frequency upgrade just allows you to use it multiple times a session not allow you to use 2 times a round? You would need the 'Increased number' upgrade to affect multiple dice. @awayputurwpn @Nightone? This is so confusing I cant make heads or tails of wtf you are doing here. Why are you spending a triumph to flip? No where does it say anything about that in the ability. I also don't understand what you are doing rolling 1D2s? It doesn't make any sense. When did Triumphs start letting you add strain? I think this came up in another match that you can do that. I think I'm out either way but I also think you are using this ability completely wrong. Congratulations on your new job tho. Also you made 2 triumph but you've spent about 4? And Linked is a pre existing ability thats on a weapon or one that can be added with a talent, wheres it coming from? You cant hit twice with a grenade. Theres no special property of the gel that lets you activate burn for less than 2 advantage. Had you been able to activate it Tanson would die at the beginning of his turn but you only got 1. Book also says it would use a mechanics check instead or brawl.
