  1. My character already has the Fear the Shadows skill from the Sentry spec, so focusing that to become a Jereserras Influence like ability wouldn't be that farfetched. You could say the same for other similar skills like the Agressors Terrify. Im sure theres examples for Wardes.
  2. Some kind of bestial opponent that relies on smell and hearing would probably not care about light being redirected.
  3. I see it more useful for making a character with low willpower better. Example, my current character only has willpower 2 and a PC I butt heads with a lot is a Zabrak with YGG for coercion with automatic advantage from his racial. Without any kind of buff he can potentially just shout me down (GM makes us roll imitative to see who gets to use their social skill first) where as if I could use this skill I might be able to buff myself up to GGGG which has a reasonable chance of besting the roll. In the same vein my character sucks at fear checks with that 2 willpower. So while there is the option to use jerserra's to add force to the roll, having 4 green to roll is generally better.
  4. The Jerserra's influence post has got me thinking. Do you think any of the skill trees or Force powers will increase Presence for Force die?
  5. How so? I see no difference from using enhance to make you more agile.
  6. Pre orders are a near guaranteed sale for some companies. A high number is enough to keep investors happy and writing cheques. Just look at how the computer game industry pushes for them.
  7. Give both 3 lightsaber specs. Heck give spies and engineers one too. Nobody gets left out.
  8. Magus 25xp. The twirly wurly spinning death blade move. Commit any number of force to wield an equal number of additional lightsabers to force committed.
  9. Worry leads to hate. Hate leads to fear. Fear leads to all 3 specs being saber trees.
  10. Makashi is shown dual wielding but no skills to help with that are in the tree. My guess is the artists are given a brief description of what the spec is designed to do and then draws/paints/whatever based on that.
  11. Um...... We just post we want articles in a childish tone and then wait patiently. Perhaps riot is a strong word.
  12. Picked up Influence as my first Force power and loved it ever since. I use it every session. On PCs, NPCs, enemies, friends and random passers-by. I used it on a crazy guy and went insane myself once well..... more insane.
  13. The power of the universe would make me an even better duelist! I agree Magus will be all force-powery, and its more than likely Alchemist is the saber related spec if there is one, I can see Prophet type abilities being useful for a saber spec. Just imagine a Force user who can see even a few seconds into the future. If I know where my opponent is going to strike, I just have to not be there. Like a Force based Coordination Dodge or Super-Force-Parry. And also the opposite is true. My opponent is poised to parry my overhead, so I roll Force with my Saber skill and pay 2 for them to not be able, narrativly having changed the swing to get past the move I knew they were planning.
  14. If you feel a saber is to weak pick up a saber based specialization, you'll get more out of it than mods in the long run. You can also dual saber it up. Or do what I did and pick both options.
  15. @LordBritishgetting no RP? Been waiting since last year man!
  16. Quite a few times in TNG (Star Trek talk on FFGSW forums) its shown a Klingon can take a Bat'Leth in 2 hands on 1 of the handle thingies and use it as a single edged blade. But its still a pretty poor weapon even used such.
  17. Because the designers had to go the most confusing way and call them manoeuvres rather than minor actions like everyone else.
