  1. I'm pretty sure it's just 'demon', singular, in which case yeah it would only apply to the specific Pinky. (I actually don't think there are any cards that apply to an entire activation group of demons like that, anyway.)
  2. Right, what I'm saying is I need the card text of Ferocity.
  3. My gut instinct is to say only the one, but I don't have card titles or effects memorized and my game's been put away for a long time (nobody to play with ><) so I can't say for sure. If you can give me the card text I can give you a more informed answer.
  4. Your imagined series of events is correct. Think of it like this. Magnum Shot is an interrupt, Hit and Run is part of the Imp's activation phase. So Magnum Shot would apply right after the attack, interrupting the Imp's turn. The other one is trickier. I too am curious about the answer.
  5. That last one would be easy enough to make as a custom map/ruleset. Maybe I'll look into it later.
  6. I'd be interested to hear which missions you think are biased in which direction and why.
  7. I'm totally with you on that. I got lucky and found someone with an extra set of tiles, so I got those and now I have twice the tiles (thank Romero for that, the base set really didn't give enough small hallway-connectors and corner-hallways.) I also took a sharp knife, some glue, and the sprues I got the new tileset on. Cut off the board spots next to the tiny endcap pieces, the ones with the connector shape from where you snap the actual tiles off. Guess what? That's exactly half as wide as the full piece, meaning two of those cut out with care and stuck together match the actual short connector hallway piece precisely. I even got a little crazy with it, and did that but flipped one of the pieces. So now I have a pair of UAC>|-|3LL connector pieces. Gonna paint little pentagrams on them surrounded with argent lightning. (A select number of the |-|3LL tiles could be used as Mars tiles too, the ones without overly hellish stuff on them. So I might make more connectors and just paint them like airlocks.) ......are you serious? I can't say /-/3LL on a DOOM forum?
  8. I dunno how many people will actually see it, this forum is kind of totally dead... But you're absolutely welcome.
  9. This place may be a barren wasteland, but I've got your back, bro. Here: http://imgur.com/OYkUBK5 (Click the image to zoom) Figures are arranged in 3 rows, Doom figures in order of size. Also pictured are 40k Space Marines on the left of each row; A Grey Knight, a slightly modded Space Marine, and a Chaos Sorcerer. All of the Doom figures are represented (aside from there being 4 different Marine models, I only showed Alpha.)
  10. I dunno how images on this site work, specifically, but you could always just upload all the pictures as an album on Imgur and link that.
  11. I came here (again) to look for ideas now that I managed to secure a couple more paint colors... and your images are all down! D: Do you have a backup/can you reupload them?
  12. I live in Northeast, currently. No car though, makes getting around harder...
  13. Man, you'd think there would be more players of FFG games in the metro area where they're located...
  14. Yeah that makes sense. I had a feeling it was covered somewhere, they actually did a really good job on covering bases like that.
  15. I'm just gonna put this out there because I've had difficulty finding people to play this game with, both for a single instance and for sequential meetup play. (Plus, after like a month of inactivity here there were 4 distinct users who posted in the last 2 weeks, so my hope for this forum has been restored. )
  16. I also like the variation on the imps, and the darker colorings of the pinkies and cacodemons. I would like to see the other mancubus up close, personally, since it seems to have a very different color scheme from the one shown.
  17. Since there's no ruling on this (And still no Errata, I'm pretty sure) I'd say that they occur in whatever order you choose in that case, or simultaneously in the case of, for example, a marine's grenade and the invader's cyberdemon.
  18. So you play the grenade card as an Action, which stays in play, and the grenade token goes on the map wherever you aimed it. For Frag and Siphon, they stay until the end of the Round (not turn, round) and then detonate, dealing their damage. Then the token returns to you and the card leaves play and goes into discard. For Hologram, instead the grenade token stays out until it's killed (takes 3 damage), and then it returns and the card goes into discard. Then, once your deck runs out of cards, and you shuffle your discard back into a deck, you can play the grenade card again after you draw it again.
  19. The wording of the card is quite clear on both of these. 1: It says you can use it "after a hostile figure performs an attack", nothing says the attack has to be against you. As long as you have line of sight and range for the shot, you can play the card and take your shot. 2: Magnum Shot is played AFTER the attack is resolved, so you would take the 3 damage from the demon's attack roll (minus whatever you get for your defending), then play Magnum Shot, and use it like any other attack.
  20. You know, this has bothered me a bit too. Has there been an official ruling on this? Is there an errata yet? (Is anyone even still alive on this forum? No Arracor, you are the demons.)
  21. A bit late to the party, but the rules are pretty clear-cut here. The Shotgun Maneuver card explicitly allows you to play a copy of itself again, if you have it, without the speed. This isn't an additional main action, it's an effect of the action you already took, i.e. playing the initial card. Sprint tells you flat out, you can't Sprint if you take another main action. So you either take two main actions from cards you play, one main action (you're not required to use both, or you may only have 1 card that grants a main action), or you choose to Sprint as a main action.
  22. That's easy. We need Archviles, we need Hellknights, we need Lost Souls, Hellrazers... There are the multiplayer-only demons they added.. Spider Mastermind, perhaps? Or what about the boss from Necropolis? For marines, Praetor Suit. We all want it! They also left out the lightning gun, and some of the altfire modes. More types of game tiles, more mission types... If they add any new demons, we need new sets of threat cards. There are the powerups, as if marines needed any more **** help with winning, and possibly we could see a revision of Solo Operative rules to prevent them from becoming Sonic the Hedgehog on their turns.
  23. Recently took the plunge into this game, got super invested in it, and as someone who runs D&D games and creates content for fun, I really like taking all these tiles and making my own map configurations. However, there's an unfortunately sharp limit to how creative I can get, primarily in making multiple paths that connect at the same end point. Some tiles just don't match up to two other tiles to create a loop, and some CRITICAL pieces, like the two short, doublesided hallway connectors, you only get one copy of. Or the small, square, corner pieces that let hallways 'turn', only 2 copies. What I'd really like to do is get more copies of those tiles, BUT, I sure as hell (haha) can't afford to buy a whole 'nother copy of the game just for that. Especially since I really don't need another set of the minis; cleaning off the mould lines and then painting all the ones I already have is daunting enough. Is there any other way I can get what I need? Is there some way to buy game pieces from FFG, or is there anyone who maybe just wants the minis and doesn't need their tiles? I'd also like to get some more dice for those rare occasions where there's more than 4 red and/or 2 black for a roll, and having extra copies of the special weapons would be nice, too. But ultimately it's more tiles I really need. P.S. When do we get Archviles (yeah yeah, Summoners, whatever), Hellknights, and the Praetor Suit marine figure? How about a Lightning Rifle set? Come on FFG, don't you want me to throw my money at you?
