    20 player top cut.
No Resistance, First Order, or CIS.
2 Republic, both running 2 Jedi ARC with Anakin.
3 Scum, all running Drea Loks.
4 Rebel, 3 running some variant of Leia including Braylen. The fourth was uploaded as a URL and I'm too lazy.
    11 Empire, 4 Quad Phantoms. 1 Vader 3x Imdaar, 1 5xi5, 1 Vader/Palp/Vynder, 2 Vader/Soontir/X, 1 Vader/Palp/Rexler, 1 Ryad/Echo/Sai.
Aside from the weird i5s list... Empire is 55% of the cut, and every single list includes an I6 and/or Phantom(s). Is it feeling like the pre-season in here to anyone else?

whole wave3 has now 38 (!) usable hyperspace trials. This is amazing, I've never had that much useful data before.

edit: I decided to split it, meaning that I won't combine the new 23 with the old 15 trials. That way the newer meta is not masked as much by the early wave3 meta. True conversion rate is 19.5%.
First funny finding: 80% of rebel lists in the cut had Wedge, 47% Braylen, 42% Cassian. 65% of imperial lists in the cut had Vader and Soontir. Anakin is on 75%, Kylo on 82%, Tavson on 77%, Lulo on 79%, Tallie on 63%.

So the meta narrowed down quite a bit. The lists that were played just once or twice went down even more, now at 20%. That means of course that 80% of lists were played 3 times or mor often. And those with 5 or more showings are at 69%. That is a clear increase from the previous tournaments.

The results of @Kieransi's wave 4 doc I posted here:

It's only been a few hours for my July poll ( https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfWzFP8EjiGoLFo2YXci433j1ZNUAF_23g8nH538W-cTw59HQ/viewform ) but at a glance so far:
median is no change (or at most 1 point) for Lando, Vultures, Howl/Iden, CLT Anakin, Finch, and all the upgrades other than CC median 2-4 point reductions in price for Outrider Dash, Skull Squadrons, P1 Dengar, Thicc Grievous, Arcball, Res Han, and Contrabands median 2-4 point increases for Soontir, Tavson the widest range of guesses are on Anakin and Resistance Han the tightest range of guesses are on Vultures and Tavson (and upgrades)

Here's an auxiliary guess form - 20 less obvious cards/pilots. Everyone knows Leia will go up, but what about, say, Dash? Or Tavson? Up, down, same?

svelok got a reaction from CaptainJaguarShark in Hate Costed By Force Rating?
For Kylo and Vader, Hate is good, but a decision. They have other things they'd like to spend the points on, and often that includes leaving the slot empty as well.
Asajj isn't hyperspace and nobody plays Scum and she's probably still overpriced so who knows. It's probably good.
For Maul and Dooku, Hate is stapled on, because they have so much HP, so low agility, force hungry abilities, and such large force pools - it's not any one, it's all four things at once that make it exceptional. And for all that, it's like... two points undercosted? Maybe one? Probably not three?
So if you really wanted to, you could make Hate cost 5/4/3, for 1/2/3 agility ships, as a proxy for those things.
Hate is good because it both has a good effect and doesn't cost your force, which isn't true of the other options other than Sense. But it's allowed to be that way because it only works when you're taking damage, which limits it for low HP ships and is inherently limited how much defense it can stack on low agility ships.

The best Republic list requires buying one Guardians of the Republic box and one Delta expansion. New player grade: A
The best CIS list requires buying two Infiltrators. New player grade: A, possible disqualification for being as unthematic as possible.
The best Rebel list requires (in a month) a 2.0 B-Wing, and Saw's Renegades, over the core set X-Wing; plus a conversion kit solely for pilots and Leia. Grade: C
The best Imperial list is either the core set TIEs plus 4 TIE Fighter expansions, or an Advanced, a 1.0 Interceptor, two 1.0 bombers, and a conversion kit. Grade: B / D
The best Scum list is, uh... Four Fangs? Maybe? I dunno. Grade: B probably, unless it needs a Starviper.
The best Resistance list requires either two T-70s and two RZ-2s, or just 5 RZ-2s. Grade: B
    The best First Order list requires (in a month) a 2.0 Silencer, a 2.0 /SF, a 1.0 Upsilon, and a conversion kit. Grade: C

    I just want to say-
I hate words so god **** much. Especially passive Words to fly versus, and Range 1 Words to fly with.
They decrease the importance of dials and positioning and the more viable Words are,
Look at CIS, i know i've said it before- CIS have the strongest theme focus of all the factions: They are mostly incapable of playing High-Init Wordswing. Naturally, every thematic CIS list sucks major donkey **** and the best lists are some mishmashed 2 Ship Passive Mods Billion Upgrades Words Salad.
FFG needs to buff the generics/nerf Words, and buff Low-I Low Health ships without Words. Look at the plight of the Vulture or Striker to see why.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
