I'd have taken it over Tenacity in the starter decks 😋 "Cheaper" Helicarrier, Avengers Mansion, Mockingbird and Nick Fury all sound good to me.

Because, at that time, who would put it in there decks? Now that we have more basic cards, the more that they'll get used.

Nope!  They are completely separate so your hero deck needs to have 40-50 in addition to the invocation deck.

I can’t see Professor X getting a Hero/Alter-Ego card. An Ally leadership card sure. The Professor isn’t as field active as the rest of the X-Men.

I kind of think people are overthinking it a bit. The simple way to do it is to make his hero power a regen (possibly replace it with a damage effect if he's at full health?) and maybe give him some burst healing cards in his deck, along with a multiple attacks. I don't think he really needs to be any more complicated than that.
If they do want to make him a little deeper, I like the idea of him taking damage to deal damage as a way to force you to balance your resources.

I see their importance as being that of paying it forward a turn, so that you can expand the value of 3 more turns, for example. (They are also useful for ensuring you can remove villain upgrades without dramatically shrinking your hand)

Exactly.  I taught a few of my old coworkers to check over their shoulders when they enter a bathroom, just in case Spider-Man is up there.

close...when he goes to jump, the cape will tear off. Being attached to his costume, that will also tear off and you will then truly understand why he is called "Moon" Knight...

You still deal the damage even if the villain doesn't attack. Toe to Toe is not formatted in a cost: effect way, so you simply resolve as much of the text as possible and no part of the ability is contingent on the resolution of other parts.
It would have to say "That enemy attacks you, then deal 5 damage to that enemy" to work that way. Or be something like "Hero Action (attack): Choose an enemy. That enemy attacks you > Deal 5 damage to that enemy. "

Luck of the draw is a big part of Crossbones as he’s got a reasonably big deck with all the modules.
Thor is absolutely fine in multiplayer and actually one of my favourites to play with. I prefer him with Aggression so you can use Get over here to take minions from friends to boost your hand size. He does struggle a bit in solo, but he’s one of the more fun heroes to play in my opinion.

On a somewhat related note, I just tried Captain America with Hulk's aggression deck, with some slight tweaks, and it was amazing.  Destroyed Expert Rhino before I was even 1/3 of the way through the encounter deck and only took 3 damage total the whole game.
One of my favorites was exhausting Martial Prowess to play Toe to Toe and Shield Block to deal 5 damage for basically the cost of 2 resources and no damage.
There's a lot of synergy with Cap's abilities and those aggression cards.

    Yup.

Just noticed that the number of yard lines on the football field beneath her are correct.  In a world that looks to point out failures I'm just commenting to celebrate success.

I like that Nadia's hero cards give bonuses or different effects in different sizes, whereas Scott has very efficient cards that can only be used in different forms.  To me, it implies that Nadia is more versatile (and better trained) but Scott can be incredibly focussed.

Looks like Aggression is the Aspect with most synergy for him (Martial Prowess, minion control, etc.) while the other three are best for covering his weaknesses.  Justice for handling threat since he's deficient there, Protection's healing and damage prevention cards would be a lot better for him than the 'defend to do X' cards, and Leadership covers threat and survival through putting more bodies on the table.  The deck that comes in the box needs some tweaking to suit him better, like adding a couple more cheap Allies in place of Events or cards you don't need three copies of.  If the two reprints of Lead From the Front were Maria Hill and Squirrel Girl, he'd be in much better shape.  His version of Mockingbird is amazing for keeping him out of harm's way though it's expensive to do so.

I want to see what the rest of All for One says.
As for Wasp, she looks strong. I like that they gave her the ability to split damage and thwarting. And I'm excited to see how the cards with different actions depending on hero size work in practice.

So Fem-Thor is a heavier version of Valkyrie which targets the villain instead of a minion.  Interesting...
