    My question:
Can you confirm that when a card does damage, all of that damage is done simultaneously? Also, for a card like Gateway to Dis, are all creatures destroyed simultaneously?

    My Question:

Positron Bolt says "Play: Deal 3[D] to a flank creature. Deal 2[D] to its neighbor. Deal 1[D] to the second creature's other neighbor." Normally when a card deals damage, it is all done simultaneously. Does that apply here, even though it is to three different creatures? Thematically it makes sense that it does, but just want to confirm.

I have used this before. I like the physical dice better, but it is nice having a combat tracker. In case you don't know about it, @SkyJedi has also created a character and setting creator that is very robust. Currently no magical item/implement tools, but there's enough functionality to provide a decent workaround for almost anything. https://genesysemporium.com/

SkyJedi reacted to TheRealGadianton in Major release notes for KeyForge Compendium
    Hey everyone,
Two weeks ago, we released some new features and mentioned some upcoming ones. Those "upcoming" features are now here, as well as several other enhancements. This is kind of a big release, so bear with me and you'll be rewarded for your time.
Note: I figured you'd want full the details here (in the forum) rather than a link to the Reddit post, so this a copy-pasta. I hope that works better for you guys.
    UI Makeover
Before going any further, it's going to be super obvious that KeyForge Compendium is... prettier. Up until now, we were very utilitarian, trying to push out features as quickly as possible. However, after frying our retinas by staring at the interface for hours on end, we decided it was time to do something about it.
The UI work is being done by /u/benj3, an awesome friend of /u/Animazing. If you like what you see, it's only the beginning. So far, we have pretty theme. There's a lot more work to be done on the individual views to make them as intuitive and usable as possible.
Of particular note, the interface works wonderfully on mobile. Try it! This is particularly important because I imagine many of us will be using the site at our FLGS, and I'm doubtful any of us will have a laptop on the table.
    Enhanced Deck Analysis
For a while now, many of you have been using ADHD scores to assess the strengths and weaknesses of your decks, giving you a springboard to help understand how a deck might be played. This, however, was only the start.
You can now analyze a deck by grouping the cards into a large amount of different categories. You can even pick and choose which categories you want to display.
To access this feature, go to a deck (example) and click/tap the "Analytics View" button at the top. You'll see a page like this. From there, feel free to check/uncheck the categories you want to see.
    Examples of usage:
Want to see a break down of only your card types? "Uncheck all" then select Creatures, Upgrades, Actions, and Artifacts.
Want to see how on earth you're going to win a game with the deck (i.e. generate 18 Æmber)? "Uncheck all" then select Æmber Bonus, Æmber Gainers, Æmber Thieves. This will give you all the ways you crate Æmber for yourself.
Don't see enough Æmber generation via a single deck cycle? Then, you might need to cycle through your deck multiple times to win with it (i.e. draw cards). You might want to select Draw Manipulators to see what tools you have to cycle through a deck faster.
Even with this enhancement, it's still just the beginning though. One of the limitations of ADHD (as stated by its creator, /u/Aminar14), is that it doesn't account for things like card combos. Now that we can group cards into categories, we also want to group them into combos. This will allow players to be able to more quickly assess how a deck might work.
    Card Rule Clarifications
I'm frequently on the KeyForge forums (both FFG and BGG), Discord, and subreddit. I see a lot of the same questions being asked, many of which have been generally answered already. But how does someone know if a question has been answered before? More importantly, if I'm playing matches with my friends or at my FLGS, how do I get quick rules answers so that we can get back to playing (and stop debating)?
Over the past few weeks, I've worked with a small team of some of the most informed "rules lawyers" in the community. We have created over 350 FAQ entries, oftentimes writing and rewriting the answers until we felt they were as clear as possible. There's still a backlog of more to create and add, but we expect you'll find what you're looking for 95% of the time.
There are a few ways to access this feature:
Go to the Card List page, search for a card (you only need to type part of the name), then click/tap on the desired card to bring up the card page and access the FAQ for that card (example).
If you're looking at a deck list (or even the advanced deck analysis), you can click/tap on any card to get that same view.
The master list of FAQ's can be found on the FAQ page.
I saved the best for last: my absolutely favorite view is the deck-specific FAQ. Whenever you're about to play a deck, pull up its special FAQ page by clicking/tapping on the "FAQ" button at the top. You'll see a page like this -- all the FAQ for cards in that deck, all in one place. <insert hand flourish>
Regarding the quality of the answers provided, here is the process we followed (if you're one of those who cares):
Start with FAQ from published official sources (e.g. the FAQ in the rule book). As an example, if you expand the FAQ for Restringuntus, you'll see a link to the source in the answer.
Grab FAQ from unpublished official sources (e.g. forum posts, Twitter, etc.). As examples, see the question about stunned creatures with Anger and the question about Stealer of Souls with Bad Penny. In both cases, we linked to the source in the answer.
Create answers using text from the official rules. As an example of this, look at the Q&A for Horseman of Famine and Labwork. Much of these explanations are taken directly (i.e. copy and paste) from the official rules glossary, sometimes with slight modification to fit the context of the question.
Using the official rules a reference, create answers for specific cards that are not explicitly addressed in the rules. A perfect example of this would be Succubus. As it is, people struggle to understand when a chain should/shouldn't be removed, so having a more clear answer that is specific to a certain card was needed. There's many other cards that required this special, white glove treatment.
Peer review. Every answer is then peer reviewed by others in the team, ensuring a couple of different things:
Consensus. If there's any uncertainty about an answer, we submit it to FFG rather than trying to guess.
Clarity. This is really important. If we answer a question and it leaves you with more questions (or you're still uncertain), then we have failed. There are many answers that went through several revisions before we agreed that is was solid. We're hoping you'll appreciate this.
Also, the team behind this is very active and we update the database as soon as rule changes or clarifications become available from FFG. As an example, we had to update the Anger + stunned creature ruling this weekend, when the new ruling was released.
    Maverick Searches
Many, many people have been asking to update our deck searches to include mavericks. Guess what? It's here. Celebrate Christmas a week early!
It's early in its implementation, but we wanted to be sure to get it into your hands sooner rather than later. Here's how it works:
    Go to the "Decks" page.
In the "Filter cards" section, start typing in the name of the card. You'll see 7 different copies of that card appear: 6 with a house name next to it (these are mavericks) and one without a house name next to it (this is the default card in its default house).
You can then add in the "Quantity" and "Type" as normal. Then, hit that "Filter decks" button like you mean it.
And searches are linkable too! So you can easily rerun the same search everyday, if you'd like. Here's an example of me searching for Master of 1 mavericks in Brobnar. And here's an example of me searching for a Pitlord (possibly worst maverick ever) in Shadows with no Dis in the deck.
    Other Improvements
In the deck search, you can now filter decks based on ADHD consistency scores
In the deck search, you can now filter decks by "at least X cards" or "exactly X cards" of a particular card name.
You can't pull up the starter decks on the official KeyForge site. We remedied that:
Miss "Onyx" Censorius (has better ADHD scores of the two, btw)
    Radiant Argus the Supreme
You can now compare decks by selecting the "Compare" button at the top of a deck page. And the results are linkable. Here's an example.
If you've favorited a ton of decks and/or you own a lot of decks, and you want a search engine for them, you can now do so on the "Decks" page. Just check the box for "Only search favourites" and it will limit the search accordingly.
    OMG. I think that's it.
Don't be strangers. If you see anything you don't like, something appears inaccurate, or something is otherwise missing, let us know in the comments or feel free to PM me. For those of you who have previously submitted feature requests, we've heard you and it's documented.
