  1. This lists strong points are: High damage output (more than 3-ship builds) High initiative and great movement on all ships (advantage when facing phantoms at I4). All ships at same initative – Deploy and move your ships in any order at the same time If you don't have the initiative both Elo and Nien are even better, you know where the enemy is. If you fly better you can win any game (high cieling). You need to practice Fun to fly Not bad agains any list You have to choose your first engagement. Use your movement to split up the herd and jump one of the enemy ships. Sometimes I try to bait with Tally, She is the weakest and will soak several shots. Heroic is OK. I prefere crackshot for extra damage (use as soon as possible). You have a few points to play around with. You don't need a bid so you can use up all your points if you want. Trickshot on everybody / Advance optics on Tally/Tractor beam on the X-wings/ HLC or an R2 unit.
  2. Both Nien and Elo is great even if I loose the bid. Then I have perfect information on how to do my 3-Talons. I'm thinking of spending all my points and geting the most efficiency out of it.
  3. I've tried and loved the resistance I5 list with Nein Numb, elo asty, L'ulo and Tally. It is fun to fly and it can handle most lists. It is 191p without talents. What do youthink I should kit it out with. I'm leaning towards Trickshot on all of them. 4. I played a version of this list in a tournament this weekend. It was nice to roll all the damage dice when you got a good first encounter. But the list breaks down fast. Jess pava is good, but with initiative 3 and the need to fly in formation(/stay in range one) she lets everyone know where you're whole squad will end up. The tournament had many four ship squadrons. And even if you take out one ship at the start the return fire left you with the same numer of ships but you are more damaged. There was also a prevalence of high initiative lists with bids. This list need to fire first. I do have to learn play Poe better. He has got many options and it feels great to have push the limit. But he still takes damage almost every time someone shoots at him. I think you need to play him very cautious and get behind the enemy. In this list you need him front center.
  5. Jess will choose focus as her action and stay within range 1 of her buddies.
  6. Worst case all ships still got focus and can shoot normally. With all alpha lists there is the challange to get the first engagement correct. What I like with this list is that it is a solid list even without that. The bonus is if you fly well and outsmar your opponent you can pick out and destroy an enemy ship before they get to do anything. If you succeed you should have the game. i'll try it out.
  7. This looks fun to fly. I have to try it out. It should kill Readline on first engagement.
  8. A-wings are fast and agile. The dial and linked boost support this. But it makes me sad to see bombers and support ships with higher Initative. My wish list is: - Wedge with same pilot ability and initative (6) - SLAM action – to make it fly over the table with a 5x5 move! - 2 talents
  9. We'll see if this will remain open. The developers could close this down, hash or encode the data. I haven't seen any official information supporting an open API. But I think it would be great for the community if the keep it like this or even expand it with some documentation. It would make it simpler for hobby developers to make better apps and mods. Both data data and card images. That would be awesome.
  10. If you can find a way to put several focus tokens on Garven he can spend them all and distribute them to his friends.
  11. @Cow-of-Doom Tarn works great with M9-G8. When someone shoots you you get a target lock and can force them to reroll any hit. Works several times a turn.
  12. You need more dice. Swap the Protons rockets and Snap shot for harpoons/cruise missiles and Deadeye. That is a possible 16-20 dice first turn. (Cruise, Autothrusters and Trickshot if you want it more defensive) Make sure to shoot your missiles even if you only have focus. You need to get the damage in fast before any A-wing dies. When the missiles are gone the ghost should be dead or on just a few hull. It will then try to run away. It want to get only one A-wing at range 3. Don't chase it blindly. Take it easy, keep your formation. You want to fire all your A-wings. You want to Focus and Evade every turn, at least for any A-wing the Ghost can target. If you kill Fenn and at least half of the Ghost you need two A-wings to survive.
  13. Swarmleader is only for primary attack
  14. I've used variants of this list several times. I love Jess and the A-wings. I've been trying out different ships for the fourth ship. I want a ship that can draw fire and take a beating. So Jess and the A-wings can get a few extra turns to deal damage. 1. Stress hog is a good fire magnet and can disturb aces before he goes down. But he's PS2. 2. Heff (PS3) with Jyn Erso and Jan Ors that can block, and deal out focus and evade to a friend. 3. Now I'm running Braylan with stressbot and tactician. He's also PS3.
