  1. Omega Ace 20 Sabine's Masterpiece 1 Finn 5 Push the Limit 3 Pattern Analyzer 2 [31] If he can PtL for Focus and TL, it's 3 auto crits (4 at range 1)

Miranda 29 Gonk 2 TLT 6 Experimental Interface 3 Bomblett Generator 3 [43] Can double regen!

Quinn Jast 18 Heavy Scyk 2 Deadeye 1 Harpoon Missiles 4 Guidance Chips 0 [25] Ignore me to shoot the others and get harpooned a bunch!

Omega Ace and Quinn Jast can probably be killed easily enough - but hopefully they do enough damage first. Then I've got double-regen Miranda for the endgame.

    Any suggested changes?

  3. Primed Thrusters allows you to BB-8 barrel roll when you reveal a green while stressed, yes. And that's important for getting a focus or evade from intensity. Just as important is that Primed Thrusters allows Poe to Tallon Roll or K-Turn,  and follow that red move and stress with  boost for a focus or evade. Being able to turn around while still getting tokens is a major reason this Poe gets played.

I watched the first 4-5 rounds (turned in around 1 am).  I wish I had watched the entire thing.  The shadowcasters won it 100-57, so I assume that only Assaj was left standing.

I think you're looking at a different game. Sozin with 3 wookiee liberators beat Travis with Asajj and 2 tlt thugs by a final score of 100-0.

  5. I learned a few things:

    1) How to pull data from a website API.

    2) That range 3 on an aux arc reaches further than on a primary.

    3) How to explain Quadratic factoring and Completing the Square to a student with a learning disability.

    4) That my dog Lucy is the cutest, smartest dog. (No bias, obviously)

    5) Flying ships without repostioning really makes one learn how to think ahead to future turns much better.

Not all xwing things, but all good stuff to learn.

Did you get to watch it? I won a crazy game vs evergeen squadron podcaster Travis!

That triple Wookiee list is mean (thanks @Incardfor inspiring me to run it). Even with tractor beams and stress it manhandled Asajj and the TLTs. Travis didn’t like his opening — said he should have played Asajj faster - and there was one key roll where his y wing blanked out a range three defense roll (with a focus) — and died to blank blank hit :/

And there was the turn when your 1 hp wookiee survived a TL/Glitterstim shot, then the bizarre round when Asajj almost cleared her 3 left turn, but didn't, so only 1 of 4 ships on the map moved. Near the end, it looked like Travis might find a way to start popping those Auzitucks. He really had a chance and it was closer than the 100-0 score made it seem. Sozin had only 6 hp left spread out among his 3 ships; that means Travis did 21 points of damage vs the 26 Sozin did. A great game!

It's worth noting this squad does not seem to be a low tier fluke either. The exact same squad was flown in one of the higher tiers by PaulD who took a 100-0 victory against RAC + Quickdraw.

With your blessing @incard (or whomever originally designed the squad), I may fly it as well. But I'm not sure I want to risk lowering its win rate.

No blessing needed! Lists belong to everyone who has the cards, and on Vassal, everyone has all the cards.

  8. My strategy is to keep my wookiees loose, pick the right target, stress my enemies, and always keep the next few turns in mind (with no turn-around moves, it's easy to get a wookiee lost for a few turns if your not careful). Maybe Jake would work in there, or some other nimble ship, but I'm not certain.

  9. This is my first season, and I am also super impressed and having a wonderful time. To the staff and everyone who has helped make the league what it is, I am especially grateful for listjuggler, the use of Slack and all the custom cool apps (shout out to my bros Lobot & R2-D7!).  I love that it's free to play, I love that nearly every game has a log file available for download, and I love that there will be cool prizes. My division is in the Unknown Reaches, Planet Kariek, 5-J. I am lucky to be in this division as we seem more active in the start than most other divisions, and everyone has been really great to play with and chat with. And... a totally self-serving brag, my wookiees are on their way to fully liberating the sector, check out my record and my games here: http://lists.starwarsclubhouse.com/league_player?player_id=1615

Loving this thread, good to see something different, can I ask you guys, how are you playing the three ships?? In tight formation, or nice and spread out??

When I first picked up the list, I flew in a super tight formation, but when I saw Miranda / Nym across the map, I opted for a very very loose setup to avoid getting bombed together and I have been flying it that way since. I have been using 3 wookiees in the Vassal League and am currently 4-0 with the highest MoV of any player in the League (mind you - I am in the lowest tier). All but one of my games has a Vassal Logfile that anyone can download to watch.
