I like Bryan's stance on cupcakes vs peanut butter cups.

It's not up to 1 person to figure out how roads would work in a laissez-faire economy: that's a really hard thing to figure out! There are plenty of things that are hard to figure out: like wireless telephone service, food production, entertainment, etc., etc., etc. Just because something is hard to figure out does not mean it should be government controlled. Actually, quite the opposite! We are ok trusting the market to figure out things like food, phones, and entertainment. Some think that the market could figure out roads, too. At least until the distant future of 2015, when we'll be like ...

@GreenDragoon FAA prohibits firing out of arc, so it probably only goes on a y-wing that's taking the title, right?

3 Tactician Auzitucks? It'll never work! (also Daredevil Wulf)

And even if you did "netlist" the wookiee squad: so what?!!!!!! That's like looking at the NFL and complaining that all the teams are "netlisting" the idea of having Wide Receivers, or Slant Routes. If you are having fun and getting what you want out of the game by playing a list you read about online or heard about on a podcast, then you're doing it right. -

@Wazat Don't worry about what others think. Just do your best, use your own eyes, use your own logical judgement, and play by the rules. If you succeed when doing all this and people have a problem of any kind, it is not about you, it is about them. -
Bryan "Crackle" Farmer seems like a fun-lovin' guy, but also it seems like he needs an adult every now and then. Luckily, he has one: "E", also known as the Easy Wagon. Those guys know their Lord of the Rings card game back to front.

Even though word is out about the Wookiees, it's almost as delayed as the System Open announcement for PAX Unplugged. So maybe I have a chance there! -

Is that Chris from Krayts? Idk their forum handles. But, yes. I've been flying Expertise/Tactician/Breach Specialist and variants a lot for the last 2 months or so, maybe 100+ full games and some practice. I think it's very strong. I have nightmares about Asajj Ventriss, so for the last week or two, I've changed course slightly. It's still 3 auzitucks, but I think I'm a bit more flexible now. -

Everyone's talking about wookiees now. Our cover is blown! -
@RufusDaMan very similar ideas!

Armor Piercing Torpedoes. 3 Attack Dice, range 2-3. Cost 3. Attack: Target Lock. Discard your target lock to make this attack. If this attack hits, cancel all dice results. Then the defender suffers 5 damage. Not very accurate, but hits really hard. This may be overkill? Maybe make it suffer 4 damage. But I like the idea of separating accuracy from damage output.

1-2 games a day on Vassal, usually 1 night a week for 3 games in person (sometimes that's every other week).

[V. Important] What is the Flight Assist Astro plugged into?
matt.sucharski replied to Babaganoosh's topic in X-Wing
It's a 1972 Volkswagon Microbus. Very popular among the enemies of the Galactic Empire. -
I think this is a decent expansion. Nothing screams "crazy town power creep", there are lots of new things to think about, and cheap coordinate is begging for some theorycrafting.

Courier Droid is limited. Thanks for stopping the OP NPE that is multiple Courier Droids on the same ship.

I think you've answered your own question: against Harpoon Missiles: keep your wookiees apart from one another and either eat the missiles or manage the range (I find the latter difficult). I think keeping them apart is a good idea anyway as I try to fly them on different attack angles as a means of compensating for their inability to turn around in one turn. Triple Wookiee lists do not have a specific method for defending against ordinance*, but they are not as vulnerable to it as some other ships - they get reinforce and can flip down those crits. *Wullff with HotShot Copilot can force the removal of focus tokens on ships depending on Deadeye-based attacks. Bae is a slang term for "Baby". The meaning is "desirable boyfriend/girlfriend". I used that term because that's what I think of Breach Specialist: it's a very good upgrade. -
Auzituck Gunships do not have any turn-around moves: no k-turns, no s-loops, no tallon-rolls. There is only 1 red move on the dial: a 5 forward.

If you want to run Rage or Push the Limit on Wullff or Lowh, I would recommend Kanan Jarrus crew over Kyle Katarn (or both on Wullf with PtL). Also: I just took 1st at a 14 (?) person Q4 kit. I ran Triplibs with Expertise, Tactician and Sweet Bae Specialist. Got me some Horton alt art hooray! -
While it's true that in any given turn there are limits to where a bullseye arc could end up, a barrel roll, which can be adjusted in an analog fashion, changes where your bullseye arc can end up on future turns when you bank (compared to where they could end up if you didn't barrel roll the previous turn). I guess what I am trying to say is that without buming a ship or barrel rolling there is a sort of grid on the whole map which determines all possible bullseye arcs for a single ship, but barrel rolling can move a ship off of this grid and removes the limitation (when considering all possible game states, while still limited for any individual round).

I'm waiting to see a Dead Man Switch Z-95 with 1 hp and 3 Harpooned! Conditions. Wanna guess if he's heading towards the enemy ships? He is.

Take a close look at the Reference Card image for Bullseye Firing Arc. Turns out the arc looks significantly narrower than the guides.
-
Thanks. Lots of pics with the bullseye arc, but none where the ship is not obscuring where the bullseye arc intersects the ship tile itself, so it's hard to get a good look. The image of the Reference Card makes it more clear. If you zoom in you can see that the bullseye arc is significantly more narrow than the movement guides.

That would certainly make more sense in terms of making it easier to measure out to range three. How do you know?
