  1. You were and are one of the brightest soul and heart of this community - and to be honest not surprised that you already started to think about it
  2. To check around here was part of my daily routine. I don't think I have to add more details about my thoughts regarding this topic.
  3. I've not personally had much of an issue with the original design of Aurim. He's on the stronger side of healers. My biggest issue with him has been his variability. If he happens to pop open a treasure chest, well that's bad. On the other hand if he pulls out nothing, that's equally bad for the heroes. In my one-shots so far, he's been completely fine. I'd definitely rather face him as Overlord than many other healers. But I do still think the gold-generating part is potentially problematic and needs further testing. I was pointing only on the design aspect, the picture on the hero card The ability and feat is OK, and looks interesting. I'll test it as it is on the latest version. I just have to figure out which class he'll be.
  4. Even my opinions vary - even regards the same subject - first I thought this team will be useless That's why we need to test and even test more, and share, discuss.
  5. No I'm not trolling. In fact I admire your work here as well as Rugal's to keep the inspiration ongoing. But both of you are here not just only to share but to receive feedbacks as well. And sometimes I have the feelings that you're not really opened for those inputs. I will keep testing and share my thoughts nevertheless as really enjoy to try out these ideas and play with these new alternated versions. I can't wait to finish the current campaign with the Glyr/Buldar/Landrec/Bogran team then start a new one right away. At the end I hope we can make a deal to have an alternated design available for at least Aurim as the original one is still horrible (and I don't know, and not willing to learn how to do it).
  6. Except when you don't Buldar looks different, even Aurim has lost his beard.
  7. Not bad, and it's cool to have a design which matching exactly your design, but I miss those fine details from the figures.
  8. I miss you already. It's a bigger loss than FFG abandoning the 2nd edition productline ....
  9. Yeah but we can do multiple versions as well @Rugal - I mean only the variety for pictures, not for abilities or features
  10. Which one is the front page? For Bogran we have found the perfect image and figure I believe, thanks to Dadler93
  11. I'm using this for Hugo: https://imgur.com/gallery/wTJgx4r
  12. Don't forget 1) the Runic Knowledge - which you can suffer more fatigue than your stamina https://wiki.descent-community.org/Runic_Knowledge Runic Knowledge "A Runemaster may use Runic Knowledge even when he suffered fatigue up to his Stamina and suffer a heart instead. In this special case, the surge is the cost to use the ability, and the suffering of a fatigue is an involuntary result, not part of the cost." 2) and the most famous Descent CRRG where (almost) everything is answered already: https://descent-community.org/index.php/crrg/
  13. Your picture is a perfect match, well done Although there is no agreement regarding his heroic feat yet. I like Rugal's first version but with a bit of modification which he doesn't like I've made a photo but can't attach it here now for some reason... Why I cannot attach pictures???
  14. I bought exactly this figure for Kirga I'm using this for Eliam: https://www.fantasywelt.de/Elf-Male-Ranger-D-D-Nolzurs-Marvelous-Unpainted-Minis_1 And this one for Bogran the Shadow: https://www.fantasywelt.de/Half-Orc-Assassin_1 And this one was in contention too: https://www.fantasywelt.de/The-Red-Raven-REA60203_1
  15. Your figure in a painted example: https://www.fantasywelt.de/Dub-Bullock-Rogue-REA03026_1
  16. I'm using this fellow: https://www.fantasywelt.de/SAGA-Islamic-Priest_1
  17. IMHO it's not bad, but he looks more like a fighter than a healer. I still like your first -dropbox - version more.
  18. Yes it's very similar, could work. The difference is, that Bogran has to do 1 turn ahead, but in exchange for that he's getting immunity for the attacks that comes next.
  19. Question regarding Army of Dal'Zunn, Zombie actions. Is the zombies do nothing from the activation card even if they can't move twice (no token under the figure), standing next to a hero? They are wasting their 2nd actions for nothing?
  20. So we played the Army of Dal'Zunm today. We decided to make it a bit more difficult by adding randomness for the Zombies movement - a dice decided which path each Zombie starts his journey. So we had to split with the heroes and that made it really hard - especially when they had the bonus +2 speed (10 spaces in 1 turn). Changelings behind our back, Zombies everywhere, Zachareth and Belthir and soon enough Ettins also... Thanks to Changelings, Scorpion's Kiss and Perils we were full of conditions all the time, poisoned, immobilized, terrified or bleeding. It was tough, but we won. Brother Glyr - and an Elven Boots, is a perfect match. His Trident was just the top of the cake - until he got a Terrify condition. Buldar - what a luck, he found a Grinding Axe from a search... even if Landrec wasn't close during this quest he did a massive job with that weapon. Killed a Red Ettin with one big swing (13 Damage - Mana Weave, Dual Strike, Keen Edge, 3 Surge = +5 Damage +2 Pierce)... and after the quest, he's got the Unstoppable ... he'll be really unstoppable I believe. Still he should be restricted to have only 1 two-handed weapon at a time. Landrec: "Once per turn, when a hero within 3 space performs an attack and rolls no Surge, add 1 Surge to the results." - seems working fine, but a bit strong maybe. But Buldar doesn't care, he's Laughing as never before with his Grinding Axe and Mana Weave in his hands. Bogran: His heroic feat is a headache. A feat which could be turned against a hero by a smart OL is not the best. I thinking on a feat similar like Rugal's version, but without bonding the hero token to another figure, Like: "-> Remove your figure from the map and replace it with your hero token. At the start of your next turn, move your hero token up to 3 spaces, discard that token, place your figure to the same space and perform an attack." - like he's moving in the shadows. Some questions were raised during the game: - Glyr and his fellow hero partner both immobilized. Is this valid that yet Glyr still can move 2-2 spaces himself and the other hero? As no movement action was involved. And Glyr with his Elven Boots +1 more. Immobilized is not that bad for Glyr it seems. And it's the same with Okaluk and Rakash. It's not belong to this thread, but an interesting question: - Can the Soul Reaper use Stream of Life + Blight extraction with 0 essence, 0 healing, just to remove a condition? Even if he or she doesn't have a single essence on Essence Harvest?
  21. Haha, just found out accidently from where it is I like that game too.
  22. There seems to be a little contradiction in page 8, Placing monsters. The order of placing monsters in point 3. is not the same (tile number > leftmost of the top row > rightmost of the top row > leftmost of the bottom row) as in the right side of the page with the picture explanation (tile number > rightmost of the bottom row > leftmost of the bottom row > leftmost of the top row). Which one is the correct one?
  23. I'll keep testing it as it is. Poor one had literally nothing but the Knight starter weapon and shield + a Staff of Light. Now he has a Trident, Elven boots and a Leather armor so he might serve a bit better.
