If you are really lucky you can watch the tracking and see package arrive at local fedex office then fly across europe come back to local office then across europe again. I had the post office cause a package go around the country twice. Then i called and said wtf?

Something like hijacking a slaver convoy, raiding a munitions cache, or a literal heist to steal something... definitely got me thinking!
So, I need is an objective with a hook, a method to introduce the objective, optional secondary objectives to help with main objective(always open to ideas from the group I assume), and defenses for the objective. I then let the group figure out how they want to tackle the objective.
Another burning question I have is about maps. I'm not sure how to handle them (or the lack thereof). Because the beginners game had one, I've never run a session without one, but I'm really bad at drawing. How necessary is it to create and use a map?

I'm a new GM who ran an interesting begginers game of EotE and Force awakens a little while back and I'm not sure where to go from there. I have the other 2 begginers games too (I may have sprung for everything).
I have a few questions myself about where to go and what to do next. I'd like to run an epic with taking down organizations and major villians, but I think that's a bit much to chew at first... What type of campaign would you recommend I start with? Should I just run the other 2 begginers games? Should I start with AoR, EotE, or F&D? What do you all recommend for a begginer GM and group?

Were Miraluka, Sith, Echani, Arkanian, and Cathar on your list to add?

Edit: I see Echani and Arkanians are already in the guide.

In other words, no more info...FFG if you happen to see this: Any idea if it will be within a year or ten years?

Personally I would like to see the Mirulakans. Not sure how balanced they would be with all of them being Force sensitive.

I'll just throw my hat in the "thought about it" crowd. I know that I wouldn't have enough in person interest to run a game, so I've never put any of my ideas on paper. I do think it'd be the system I'd want to use if I ever did run a game simply b/c of the mechanics, even if another system might be easier to convert.

Yoda had a Force Rating 4. He was a Sage, Ataru Striker, Seer build, all Willpower and Presence, very little anything else. He was also quite squishy, but he had great deflect, parry, and protect force power. including starting XP, he had 2120 XP. And since I was using an OggDude generator, I just used the Arcona species for him, which seemed the best pick at the time for what was available in the generator.

This is not an adventure FFG would likely ever want to publish. It's really a science experiment.

That said, I did write it up like an adventure, visiting a few worlds, including Ando (home of the aqualish).

And I'll be at GamerNation Con and Star Wars Celebration Orlando in April, and GenCon in August. So if anyone really really really wants to play this module, I do still have it. You just need to let me know, gather some friends equally enthusiastic, and get with me on here a couple of weeks before the con so I can print out my materials and such.

I also do a great Imperial Con Module series where you play as 501st imperial stormtroopers working for Darth Vader, playing through the events of the classic trilogy. The first module is ANH, where you take the Tantive IV, investigate the supposed rebel base on dantooine, and then head back to the death star over yavin IV after finding out its a dead end. The second has the Battle of Hoth and some Bespin stuff. The third has a fight with Bothans to leak the Death Star plans, and some Endor action. People really like those.

Everything in this game is balanced and no one is defenseless, so here's an idea to manage a sneak attack. It's a skilled assistance check, but with only one character.
For the attacker, you take the higher skill between Stealth and Cool and the higher Characteristic between Agility and Presence then make a Simple inish check.
For the defender, Perception and Vigilance with Cunning and Willpower.
If the attacker wins the inish, they manage to sneak up, engage their prey and attack. No boost dice or added difficulties to the opponent for being suprised. Vigilance is the defense for sneak attacks.
If the prey wins the inish, they had a tingle run up their spine making them turn around and react.
It's fair. Even if a Character used the Force Power Move on an NPC, it'd be a Discipline vs. Resilience check with the Force Dice, or it'd be pointless to build certain skills.
      I hope this helps.

Oh look... an explosion that can cripple Imperial Star Destroyers has no effect on the Ghost or a pair of Y-wings.
And it looks like we're back to ion cannons being the answer to heavily shielded targets. Too bad FFG's game mechanics don't reflect that in the slightest.

The anthropological definition of "warrior culture" is one that prioritizes raising soldiers first, everything else second. But they still do everything else. Whether support activities (hunting, gathering, etc.) are done by the soldiers, those that couldn't hack being a soldier, slaves, droids, whatever, doesn't alter the warrior culture's primary motivations.
The Marine Corps is a warrior culture in the US. Every Marine is a rifleman but many Marines serve in supporting roles.
The Spartans were an extreme warrior culture where children of 6 were taken to the live in the barracks, by 12 they were expected to show military prowess, and at 18 were considered soldiers. Yet they weren't allow to openly associate with "adults" until they were 30 and were expected to serve in the military until 60. Sparta's support roles (agriculture, etc.) were the responsibility of the Perioeci who were free but non-citizens and the enslaved Helots. It was actually a huge fear of Helot uprisings that helped form the Spartan's warrior sensibilities. Sometimes those "classics" classes pay off, haha.

By that standard, there have been no artistic cultures throughout the history of Man, since none have been made up of over 50% artists.

This is the quote that started the tangent Stan. Several of us thus gave you real world examples and explanations of how warrior cultures in fact did exist and thus could exist in a futuristic setting (more easily so). It isn't just an idea. You then moved the goal posts to the requirement of the culture had to be one of a "majority of warriors" to qualify as a warrior culture. That wasn't in your first statement.
However, if we then speculated on a fictional society in which 60% were full time warriors (and we give that they are somehow banished from any other trades even in a part-time capacity - they are just too good for that stuff) that still leaves 40% to engage in non-warrior trades. How can we conclude that culture must fall apart? Even if you stretch the non-warrior workforce thinner by removing all children and elderly, you still are left with a sizable workforce for tasks such as farming. Vikings and Spartans somehow made it work without starving and it would be easier as technology advanced. As an example, modern US has only 2% of its population engaged in agriculture. A future warrior culture could easily have 0% of its population engaged in agriculture - farming robots that are repaired by maintenance robots.
    The warriors?
When I was in the Army, I took out the trash and prepared my own food when I got on separate rations. I had co-workers who also raised kids and even knew one that wrote and sang songs. All while being full-time "warriors".
I'm not a Mando fan-boy, but their culture is completely conceivable.
