  1. I did consider torpedo mc30's with enhanced armaments for 3 red, 2 blue and 3 black. On a side note, do they do well if you split your 4 mc30's into pairs to allow pincer movements? Or what's the best tactic? Can't get your ship out shortcut is on my phone screen by the way lol.
  2. I do have the Mothma card, but wanted to try Dodonna and APT's first
  3. What speed would you set it as? 3 or maybe even 4? Am thinking of painting them red too, as with the Kult of Speed, "Red ones go faster!"
  4. So, either buy one MC30 and have done with it, or buy two, another GR75 and Rebel fighters pack! Urgh, this is as big a money pit as X Wing LOL. I think my next rebel purchase will be another MC30, but I don't think I'm going to stop there! Thanks for the advice guys.
  5. Just wondering which would be the best list? I've only 2 MC30's at the moment with a CR90, GR75 flotilla, and for fighters just the core X wings plus R&V.   6. I left them the same as squad point total is 132, so to fit in Mauler Mithel I would have to drop a Tie Advanced or an Interceptor as well if I swapped out the bombers.
  7. So after a rethink below are my ships. I didn't want to invest in Corellian Conflict so no Valen Rudor at the moment. Mauler may make an appearance later. Turn 2, same commands again, so Quasar can send first six squadrons against enemy fighters, Vector activates 2 bombers and Tie Advanced against enemy ships (speed 5), other Gozanti sends Interceptors and Tie fighter either into fighter melee or at other ships. That's the plan anyway. Advice is welcome. If this is a no-go I'd rather know now before I splash the cash as I don't have a Quasar or any Gozanti's.

  10. This is definitely fun only as I don't go to tournies. I think I will give this a go, possibly putting in Whisper, and swapping bombs and torps/ missiles around if it seems to struggle. I have also considered Col Vessery and giving both bombers Long Range Scanners too.
  11. I know that I'm getting Tie Phantom this Christmas from the wife (I actually ordered it on her behalf). So I was wondering what I could pair it up with, and came up with this list modified from another one I saw online. TIE Punisher: · "Redline" (27) Extra Munitions (2) Plasma Torpedoes (3) Ion Bombs (2) Guidance Chips (0) TIE Bomber: Gamma Squadron Veteran (19) Deadeye (1) Extra Munitions (2) Proton Torpedoes (4) Seismic Charges (2) Guidance Chips (0) TIE Phantom: · "Echo" (30) Veteran Instincts (1) Collision Detector (0) Advanced Cloaking Device (4) Recon Specialist (3) -- TOTAL ------- 100p. -- So Redline and Gamma Vet take you head on, whilst Echo flanks. Bombers advance, (hopefully) Target Lock, fire a torp(GV can focus). Next turn drop a bomb, Redline K turns, fires another torp. GV won't be able to TL but can captilise on the Ion Bombed target hopefully. Echo can dance around the flanks! Any thoughts?
  12. Completely forgot about integrated. That x2 one for each x wing. I'm normally an Imperial player, with a single scum list with Ketsu, 4-LOM and a pirate in a Z95, but thought id try a cheeky rebel list.
  13. Hi all, with the new astromechs being released, I was wondering if the following list would be any good, as I would like to get all my old Rebels out! 2 X wings on PS 10! Not sure if the Y wing should swap out its astro or not for FAA as well. This has TLT as a regular opponent is Scum Kavil with TLT so they can just plink each other to death.   14. How about a caveat of "You can only equip this card if you do not arm yourself with a secondary weapon"? This includes as well turrets. Makes your pilot more of an " Ace" then.
  15. If you go to print, copy the text, then just a bit of deleting/spaces and separating some numbers makes it readable when you paste it in.

I could probably put DTT on my cr90 and keep it at long range just peppering with 2 or 3 shots ( Dodonna would be on it now after all), but I put trc on there as standard to hopefully use Dodonnas ability. Same for the Neb title, but thinking about it now, if I took the title off, I could keep TRC's on to generate the same effect, but that then exhausts my only evade token. Hmmmm. The question I have then is: - CR90: -TRC's or DTT? Neb B: -Salvation and TRC's, or one or the other? Also QBT??? Any points saved would go towards a bid or maybe Lando??? The GR75 is a sacrificial lamb/AA platform lol. This could go for a YT2400??? But only if I had a bid.

  19. Thanks for that input guys. I will readjust my list and post it tomorrow. I would like Admon title in if I could, and I have seriously considered going down to 5 ships to add some meat on. Also, I don't own Rebel 1+2 squadrons, only Core, Imp 1 and R&V, but both Rebel fighter packs are on the shopping list (along with Imp 2, another R&V, MC30, etc.....).
  20. I have a couple of Rebel lists that I want to try out which always involve Ackbar/Mothma/Reikaan. Never my first Admiral who I got in the core set. So I started to build it out and found if I kept things lean, I could fit every ship I own in the list! Not 100% on Objectives yet though. Any advice is welcome, I only ask that if you have a suggestion of adding something, say what you would take out as I'm at 400 points. The limited Squadrons are there to initially hang around Yavaris protecting Dodonna until later in the game. Thanks in advance!   22. Hmm, so maybe lose a VSD, and get more Squadrons, or lose the Quasar and stick in my GSD or a raider?
  23. So decided rather than try an Interdictor, I'd slot in a Quasar instead. Please offer up any advice. Not sure if the fighter choice is right but this allows the Quasar to activate 5 fighters and the Gozanti the firesprays, or just let them use rogue. Not sure if I maybe need to drop an Interceptor for a Tie fighter to get Squall title too? Or Agent Kallus? And do i need Sloane, or maybe another Admiral instead? 400 points, so not after an Initiative bid. Plan is to throw fighters forward at enemy fighters, get the VSD's point at the enemy, and move the Firesprays up to either help with the Squadron battle or throw them at enemy ships from turn 2 onwards depending on the situation.   24. So maybe swap the interdictor for a Light Carrier (122 pts), lose Titus (2) and a Gozanti (23), moving Kallus over to the carrier. Then 64 points on the carrier (Quasar 1, Flight Controllers and Boosted com's???) and have , 83 points for Squadrons. I have the Imp 1 and R&V packs? Any thoughts?
