  1. Not there is a ton of theme surrounding this card game in the first place, but creatures stunning themselves when coming into play has no thematic sense at all...
  2. You meant to say Coward's end is "conditionally" better. It certainly isn't after an AoE damage card like Poison wave or Ammonia Clouds has been played. And certainly not better when you have no creatures on the board. In my opinion, Gateway is better because it does not have conditions on it at all.
  3. Sneklifter can be pretty annoying
  4. the normal procedure is an official FAQ that is routinely updated.
  5. Something that has also has happened many times in the past, for many other games, a busy dev responding to 100s of emails and rule questions may give a response that isnt the official ruling after further deliberation.

    1-2 Turn Wins

ah, the parameters were a win in rd 1? That was unclear due to the title of the thread.
  7. Until they publish a ruling, the matter isn't decided.

    Chain When

I find your story about your area, where only one player has been able to cross section his skill with the ability to buy 24 decks of Keyforge as the reason he wins all of the local tournaments as highly suspect.

    1-2 Turn Wins

the premise that decks entering worlds are completely random is very flawed. If we are going to go as far as use math to calculate odds, let's make sure we understand the problem correctly.one of those 6 cards is and "either or" with a 7th. One of those "either or" can actually be on the board before this turn, causing you to only need the combo of five cards. There are even more probable combos of these cards that merely get you 2 keys in one turn. But lets not pretend 2 keys by turn 2 isn't a game winner in itself. I am not claiming this combo is very likely of course. But if you are going to pretend to pay attention to the specific detail by writing out a math formula, let's get all the variables correct.

    1-2 Turn Wins

Yes, so if this game ever had pretense to be competitive, can u see a live stream of that game at worlds? lol. smh

    1-2 Turn Wins

The fact that it can happen at all is the difference between taking this game as a casual game, or a competitive game.
  12. It is amazing that you have no trouble discerning what "this turn" means on these other examples. This is getting ridiculous. lol

    Chain When

SO this player in your area received some chains, bought new decks, and is still winning. Have you stopped to considered there is a skill gap?
  14. Nice data mining work. Thanks!!
  15. Is that a profile pic of an orc, or a troll?
  16. Sure, that broken card is gonna mess up a lot of people plans...
  17. And then you are left over with a hand full of non logos cards, which will give you a back to back blowout turn in another house. Great card.
  18. Of course. If he is only getting one card after playing library access, he is using it horribly wrong. I dont play it until i have at least 3 other logos in hand. However, if you combine it with some mothers, and some cards that allow you to draw cards like library of babble and Doc, and you have archived some logos cards, You can setup a blowout turn with this card. A hammer makes a terrible bottle opener. But sure is great if u need to put a nail in something!!!
  19. The more you pull on that logic thread, the more you make no sense. You are the one being a rule nazi about text that appears on the card, rather than accepting the likely common sense interpretation. So if "winning" isnt important to you, than the common sense interpretation of the text should be good enough, and all players just move on with their lives. But instead you choose to go down the rabbit hole that it was possible the text wasnt at all what the designers intended, but instead a mishap with printing. So now all of us have to descend into madness wondering if every text on every card was written correctly as intended, or some mad printer mishap. And instead of finishing a game, we slink into a pool of slobbering confusion.
  20. High risk. High reward. Id prob mitigate it a bit though. Like the first two rounds will seed you, so the weaker players don't lose their deck in the first round or two. Then the middle rounds your decks are at risk. And then maybe the final 4 or something get to keep their decks, and of course, all the decks they collected as bounties...
  21. Brutal. Remind me not to play your deck. lol
  22. I think the biggest draw to this game for me will be ideas like this. My biggest concern will be a competitive seen that makes top tier deck all chase decks, and make it no fun for anyone that doesn't have one of those decks. Blind seal play would be fun, if FFG got its **** together and made a solid handicap system for brand new pulled decks. I think the master vault has the potential to do this kind of thing. But another cool idea, playing for pink slips. Meaning, a tournament that you are playing for ownership of your deck. SO do you want to bring your best most favorite deck, and a chance to lose it? or be a bit less risky and play with a slightly less good deck. It could be interesting.
  23. I think the biggest concern i have for this deck is the reliance on creatures and artifacts for aember generation. I don't have a lot of good actions or play abilities, and only 4 cards have aember symbols on them. So board wipes and creature control decks will be the biggest hurdles for the deck. i think House Dis is going to be a scary match-up problem for it. And ultimately, this deck might not be flexible enough against those match-ups to be a top tier deck... time will tell
  24. Thanks for the reply! I have to disagree with the mother gun first play though. I think this deck wants to setup Logos draw engine early, then wait for that huge mars turn when u can pull it off. I think in the order of importance for my first play 1) mother. 2) Library of Babble 3) Subtle Maul Early mothers will be a huge advantage. Id want to draw a guardian ideally early as well, to protect them. Now I can cycle through my deck a lot faster than my opponent. So my next objective is to setup a huge mars turn. I have two cards that help me archive, so if I have access to them, i want to archive Mars. And when the time is right, I need to execute my back to back blowout turns. First comes a huge Logos turn. Library access with some mothers and some cards that let me draw will set this up. I want an opportunity to play as many logos as I can, and draw for each of them. After that turn, i should have a fist full of non-logos cards. So with my remaining hand and whatever is in my archive. I am ready for a blowout mars turn. Two cards in the deck that will benefit from a ton of mars is mother-gun and Psychic network. I am not too concerned about getting a good mother-gun turn, unless there is a high powered baddie i really need off the board. Much more enticing is the Psychic network. But, psychic network need the creatures ready, so takes two turns to setup. And if my opponent has a devastating board wipe, he will thwart this plan.
