  1. Oh boy! I sure am excited to see the GAR get released and introduced to the rest of the world! I have always been a Rebel player and been jealous of Imperial, front-arc power punchers. Being able to orient your ship pointed towards the enemy, and chug along spewing death seemed attractive while I attempted to broadside the enemy with some ships, and kiting with others  (and I know the LMC80 exists but it's just not as points efficient!)

So, seeing the GAR come into the fold, and operate in a hybrid space, I am chuffed! If the Venator ends up falling inline with what most expect (a ISD-lite carrier), then wonderful.

As far as whether they will be the 'best', I doubt it. As it stands they are just so so limited by card pool (I mean they only have 2 publicly released admirals/commanders for the time being... they can't really compete). I'm eager to revisit this in January of 2022 once we have a few more waves under our belts.

And why the **** do I have to click a link in a post to get to the content?

So, we're new at this and fully aware that the website is 'rusty' at the moment. We've definitely found ourselves prioritizing Armada content/writing, rather than the website itself.

Know, that we're working on it and excited to overcome some of those early challenges!

  5. Good Morning All,

I'm looking to create a dossier for my PCs. We are running Onslaught at Arda 1 and there are a lot of names to remember.

In a bid to put faces to the names mentioned, I'm looking to compile a Rebel Dossier featuring the names, approximate roles and pictures of each NPC.

Following that, I can use the tokens to supplement our miniature use (Imperial Assault stormtroopers w/ Heroforge PCs) - know where I can access HQ images of the various tokens from the beginner games?

** For anyone running/looking to run Onslaught at Arda 1: I would be glad to share my creation with you.

  6. Pardon my tardy response - perhaps this will work: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1miU1rqnei2CpEKdMOh-zPCVVUptjY7rg?usp=sharing

That's the Google Drive folder I have with the assets for our first session. It includes NPC cards for every named NPC in chapter 1. There are ship dashboard sheets for the final portion of the adventure.

Hoping it helps you out. If you can't access it, let's connect via pm and talk email addresses.

Edit: You also can see the PCs character sheets. They're likely flawed as we don't employ various mechanics (encumberance, etc.) - No judgement.

  7. My group starts Arda 1 on the 28th. I put together the following sheets with one to assist myself (GM obviously) and the other to serve as their cheat/note sheet. To familiarize them with the base itself I will likely narate a guided tour that they are taken on. If I feel like they pay attention (and succeed in a roll here and there) I'll give them the sheet (that's missing info).

Perhaps I'll say they are lectured onto about the importance of the Chain of Command by a grizzly rebel veteran. Eventually he notices that they are becoming bored with his lecture and so he updates their datapad with the relevant commanding officers (and then give them the sheet)

I fear that Arda 1 will have a lot of names and may end up like a russian doll as each session provides more names to remember. Ought to be fun though!
