  1. I thought of it as a medium based analog of the Acc and Muni. The arc lines would lie between the Acc and Muni's spread, so it could get double arcs with some work, but not as easily as the Muni. It matches the Muni command values, shields, hull. I swapped the Brace for 2 Evades, but limited the red dice output, subbing in some additional blues and a black on the side (which will in turn either limit the offensive output of the ship, or hurt its survivability, since the Evades only reroll at medium). I gave it a high speed nav chart with limited yaw (almost like an oversized Arquitens). Double O retro and double ion to afford some upgrade choices the rebels haven't seen.
  2. Due to the amazing value of the Muni and Acclamator, I decided that the Rebels should have a different option than the overpriced Assault Frigate, and that EC Henry's mystery Mon Cal cruiser is the best bet for a starting point, so here it is....
  3. If we are talking about ships that need love: anything on EC Henry's youtube page could fit. My favorite is the Mon Cal cruiser he ID'd from a passing view in RotJ.
  4. To be fair, one of the longest threads in the Xwing forum was for the Assault Gunboat, their long-desired starfighter, similar to the beloved Armada Dreadnought or ISV, for those inclined to look for support ships instead of turbolaser filled broadside combatants.
  5. The Starhawk project started during the Galactic Civil War by the Rebel Alliance, and was introduced into service right around the time that the Alliance declared themselves the New Republic, but it was before the GCW finished. All of the ships and fighters (MC85, Neb-c, T-70 xwing, RZ2 Awing, etc) that the Resistance use in the Sequel Trilogy were introduced into the NR fleet at least a few years later than the Starhawk. To me it seems like the Starhawk is probably the last ship designed and used in the GCW, which is the major delineation point for the Rebel Alliance faction in the game.
  6. what about this for a Speed 0 first player fleet? I would have alternating Nav and Eng dials on the Starhawk Starhawk Battleship Mark I (140) • Lando Calrissian (4) • Ray Antilles (7) • Phylon Q7 Tractor Beams (6) • Leading Shots (4) • Magnite Crystal Tractor Beam Array (10) • Concord (12) = 183 Points MC75 Armored Cruiser (104) • Kyrsta Agate (20) • Strategic Adviser (4) • Local Fire Control (4) • Reinforced Blast Doors (5) • External Racks (3) • Leading Shots (4) = 144 Points GR-75 Medium Transports (18) • Leia Organa (3) • Comms Net (2) = 23 Points GR-75 Medium Transports (18) • Ahsoka Tano (2) • Slicer Tools (7) • Quantum Storm (1) = 28 Points Five activations to get a Last/first, Phylons to pop a nav token on the target prior to Magnites, and Slicers to clear off a nav command following Magnites will keep it locked down for a round. Unfortunately I couldn't get the points for some Awings.
  7. The Magnites. Both ships have Xi7s, negating the Redirect, and with good positioning of them, the ship or ships you want to destroy wont be able to escape a killbox, meaning you dont need Magnites to force an advantaged position
  8. The combat refit could be interesting with a class restricted title that adds a turbolaser retrofit slot, and a clause that when you deploy, you may replace 1 defense token with a Salvo.
  9. I would drop the Scout Hammerhead, add the Unity title to the Starhawk, and add another Comms Net GR75 with Toryn farr
  10. @Mad Cat How do you have Needa on 3 of the CL Arquitens in the first version?
  11. For Rebels: Dash/Lando/Ketsu/Mart Mattin(?) for 91pts Rogue Jan/Biggs/3 X-wings/Norra for 94 pts Maybe Hera/Shara/Tycho/+1(?) is 64+? for good Rogue screening For Imperials MMJ is probably still the gold standard. But a Tel/Dengar/Howl/Mauler+LNs or INTs might make an appearance.
